It was the most beautiful colour, however it was so sticky on the lips i found myself not being able to put my lips together properly it was that sticky!! I also found it creasing on my lips and breaking up closer to the inside of my lips. \n\nI also faced big issues getting it off - it literately does not budge, which for wear is great however it makes it almost impossible to get off it you want to remove it before it naturally wears off. \n\nFor the pros of how long it lasts i'd almost prefer to wear a normal lipstick and reapply, however if you love liquid lipsticks with massive staying power it is a great option!\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I tried out the 'Creator' colour of this lipstick. This colour is a BRIGHT purple, much brighter than what it looks like when looking at the packaging online! Just due to personal preference - this was a bit too bold for me. The formula however was great when I tried it, so looking forward to trying other colours in this range in the future!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had trialled the colour 15 Lover. The colour didn't suit my darker complexion unfortunately. I actually enjoyed the smell of it though, kinda like bubblegum. The consistency of the product is thick and sticky. I actually found it really tacky until the product dried (which took ages for me). I have pigmented lips so definitely need a 2nd coat but found because it took so long for the initial coat to dry, I'd lose patience. Then the patchiness set in. While  this has the potential to be great, it's not convenient for me (until I work out how to get it to set quicker) especially if you're always in a hurry.\nOh, but it definitely stays on! It was patchy for me but did not bleed. This was a bonus!\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thanks Beauty Crew to send me a dreamer shade, it’s a nice beautiful colour to try but I don’t really impress of this matte lipstick, it’s really thick consistency and very hard to apply on my lip, the applicator is great, easy to use. It’s didn’t last very long on my lip, after I eat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to receive the shade Dreamer to try as part of Beauty Crew. I had high hopes for this product and overall, I have to say that it is good but I really had to try and make it work for me. \n\nI've tried a few liquid lipsticks but I always run into the same problem with most of them - my lips feeling dry after a couple of hours of wear. With this product, I had to test it a few times to make it really work. It gets very tacky and takes a while to dry down, which I wasn't very pleased with. I also had to really make sure my lips were in prime condition before applying it (exfoliated and then use lip balm which has had time to sink in). I felt like I couldn't just do a quick swipe and be out the door. \n\nIt does apply nicely and is richly pigmented but again, on the proviso that my lips were in tip top shape. It doesn't dry down to a compplete matte finish, which is probably a good thing with my dry lips so if you are lookin for a super matte liquid lipstick, this doesn't quite hit the mark. Additionally, it did eventually feel dry and crusty for me after 6 or so hours of wear.\n\nI would recommend this product for someone who would only be wearing it for a few hours at a time (not all day) and for someone who had primo lips. I may try other shades to see how they work on me but overall, I believe there are better liquid lipsticks out there.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm torn about this product. Colouring and packaging all gorgeous. Though the applicator was a little hard to manoeuvre - a bit too large for average lips, I'd say. The product went on well but dried immediately and so was difficult to manoeuvre around the lips to apply correctly. I had a light colour and a friend told me to wipe the inner corners of mouth about an hour after applying, as it had accumulated there as matte lip products tend to do. With some simple changes (slower drying, better applicator), this could be a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I trialed the Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink in Heroine. The colour is beautiful - it's very bright red/coral and looks really good if you have dark hair especially. I have to say, it definitely stays on - so much so that it is really hard to remove. It does smell good, however, i found the applicator a little too big to apply precisely. I also found it kind of sticky and I didn't really like the feel of it on my lips. In saying that I will continue to use it, however, I find the Stila version better to be honest.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was lucky and was able to trial this product and found overall that it was easy to apply and long lasting without being overly drying which is usually the trade off for a long lasting matte lippie.\n\nI trialed the shade escapist which looks like a deep plum but on my complexion appeared much much darker almost black, not something I can pull off - but it made my teeth look angelicly white.\n\nIt is better to take care when applying so you don’t inadvertently apply too much which could be easy to do with the applicator design. \n\nThe product transferred a little on contact with food and my water bottle but not much which is ideal for such a dark colour as you won’t need to spend all day/night in the loo checking on your lips and making touch ups. The matte felt a little tacky which I prefer to the dryness a matte product usually leaves you with. \n\nThe product is long lasting and I found I had to apply some effort to remove it, I tend to use jojoba oil and an enjo pad and this worked ok but I needed to repeat my removal process a few times to get all traces of the colour off my lips. Definitely has staying power!\n\nThe product smells nice and I am going to look for some of the other shades in a colour more suited to me to add to my collection. A good buy for the price.\n

I found that by the end of the day when it come to removing it, it took quite a lot of effort and scrubing to get it off. I also found that having the hole in the center of the applicator made it too easy to apply too much at once.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the Superstay 24 hour lipstick I’ve worn SuperStay 24 hour lipstick for more than 20 years and love it so much I could do ads for the company. Wanting a brighter color I veered away and tried this but am super disappointed. While the color is great and it applies well it comes off on whatever it touches and smears when combined with greasy food. I ended up in a mess needing to reapply midway through a work dinner party. That NEVER happens with your other product which is totally budge proof. 2 points for the awesome color - otherwise it’s a fail from me. ☹️

I was given the Romantic shade, which is a vibrant hot pink.\nFirstly I loved the applicator, it was great & made the product super easy to apply. The consistency of the lip gloss was really great & it had great staying power.\nThe downside, OMG it is almost impossible to remove once on, so do not make a mistake when applying as it dries super quickly.\n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I love matte liquid lipsticks and absolutely adore dark shade lippies so I'm quite pleased to receive the shade 50 Voyager. It's a dark berry shade that perfectly matches its tube. The shade is fantastic and I can't fault it! However, the staying power is quite disappointing! It now only bleeds but after drinking and eating for just 3 hours, you're left with just the outer lip still coloured and your inner lip is bare which looks really weird and uncomfortable especially if you're out. It's also very hard to remove even with micellar water. \nI just wished it worked for me as I truly love the shade!\n

I wore this a few times in order to get a good idea about the actual wear of the product but the colour itself didn't quite suit me. I've got medium toned,  yellow undertoned skin so this colour washed me out. I think it would suit either really pale skin tones or very dark. In any case, I felt this product didn't quite dry down leaving lips feeling tacky and sticky. After some time, I generally forget I'm wearing it which must mean it's rather comfortable-unless my lips are dry in which case it made my lips burn. For matte liquid lipsticks this one generally wears well.  It lasts quite a long time but removed with make up removal balm and cloth.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I received the shade Dreamer and the colour is beautiful but I’m not just that convinced about the staying power and texture. \nFirstly it must be applied quite carefully in order to get an even layer and once applied, you need to wait a bit and let it dry. It does not try out fully though and leaves quite heavy sticky feeling. That feeling keeps reminding you that you have something on your lips and I found it quite distracting. I didn’t thank that it was that matte either. \nIt leaves quite patchy texture after eating and you must reapply straight after the meal or otherwise you will look hideous. It is easy to reapply though and it will look nice and not caked up as some liquid lipsticks do. \nI have tried several matte liquid lipsticks and my favourite is Huda Beauty and Gerard Cosmetics liquid lipsticks. Once you’ve tried these, you want nothing else. \n

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sickly sweet fragrance overshadows everything. I bought this a few days ago in the colour "Artist". I loved the colour, and the matte finish, but Oh, My Goodness - I couldn't cope with the sickly sweet fragrance which overpowered everything. I think it was vanilla, but not sure. I left it on for half an hour or so, just to see if it improved (or the fragrance disappeared), but it was still horrid. And the taste of it is extremely bitter. It's going in the bin. Absolute waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never buy again I used this product 2 nights ago, lips left sticky, got a spot on my shirt that won’t surprise me if it never comes out, toothpaste stained with sticky yuck and just this morning after much scrubbing I can still just see it. Great it stays on and no need to retouch, but would I use it again or recommend it…NO, and I mostly use Maybelline products. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticky feeling, color not consistent I bought two colours of matte ink liquid lipstick two weeks ago. Color number 118 and 120. I was so excited to try them on but instantly disappointed by color 118, which color last not consistent with the tube color. The tube color show very bright red with a bit hot pink touch. But when I applied on my lips it shows hot pink, which does not go with my skin tone. I applied about 3 layers to make it closer to the tube color, but still looks hot pink rather than red. 120 is a lovely red color with a bit of orange hint. The color applied on the lips shows exactly the color of the tube. I am happy with 120. However.... both lip liquid are very sticky on lips, even though I only apply for one layer and hours later, my lips are still sticky like just have some lollipops. Not impressed with this product. I don’t recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only deserves 1/2 star! Perfectic and disappointed The worst lipstick I’ve ever purchased for the price! 1/2 star only goes to the colour and when applied is nice. That’s it! It wears off within and hr and leave a disgusting residue on your lips. To reapply you need to completely remove which takes constant scrubbing otherwise your left with lumps of gluey/ sticky residue! Yuk!! DO NOT BUY !!!
