Rated 5 out of 5 by from A delightful mask [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TONI&GUY Purple Hair Mask is a thick light purple mask that comes in a tub that you can scoop out the perfect amount. I first washed my hair twice to ensure my hair was clean, and all product residue from stylig prodicts has been removed from my hair. Massage the product in and then on around 5 minutes, then comb through and rinse well. I found the product took a little longer than normal to rinse out, but eventually the water going down the drain didn't contain any bubbles. After using this product, I felt my hair felt so soft, was detangled, and felt much healthier. My hair also looked more toned, brighter, less brassy and just overall in very good health. Use every second or third wash, depending on how oftern you wash your hair. I think twice a week is good as I wash my hiar frequently, as its fine and thin. I definitely recommend this product as an addition to the shampoo and conditioner set, it's like a booster your hair needs once or twice a week, to help it look and feel its absolute best.

It is so rich and creamy with a really beautiful scent. It leaves hair really soft and moisturised without being too oily. It is a lovely addition to purple shampoo and conditioner to brighten up blonde hair but not leave it too ashy or purple. As I bleach my hair but also use heat styling tools far too often my poor hair does get put through quite a bit of torture. This is such a lovely product to treat damaged hair but also brighten at the same time. A perfect trio with its matching shampoo and conditioner from the same range.

I like the smell and texture of the product, I applied a generous amount all over my head whilst in the shower and left it on for about 3 minutes. I noticed a difference in the tone of my blonde hair the first time I used the mask. My hair colour is now the same all over. My hair now feels silky soft and healthy. I love the fact that it promised to neutralise brassiness, brighten blonde and beat colour face and that is delivered. I give this product a 10/10 and would repurchase.

I was sent this product as a part of the trial team. I used it after using the Toni & Guy shampoo and Toni & Guy conditioner. It smells really nice. I applied and left on the hair for 5 minutes. I like to wrap my hair in towel before I rinse the product. It left my hair looking really nice and smelling wonderful. The product is made in Australia. It gave my hair a nice shine. I was really happy with the results. It comes in a 285ml tub which is a nice size. Its easy to get the product out and onto your hair. I recommend this product.

The good news.... I was lucky to be gifted Toni & Guy purple hair products to review and the results were outstanding. My first response after trialing the Purple Toning Mask was 'WOW'! My hair was left in great condition. I liken it to an intense Salon treatment but with the added protection of a mask. My fine, long hair was left smooth, nourished and shiny. One negative - I find pots are a bit 'fiddly' to use in the shower and opening/closing screw on lids can be awky with wet hands

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for clean toning brassy blondes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TONI&GUY PURPLE TONING MASK This purple generous 285ml tub with a purple lid has arrived. Thank you Beauty Heaven for allowing me to be on the trial team of such a prestigious brand on my at home bleached, foiled and grey hair. The tub has a purple lid and a very professional designed logo. It states it has pearl extract, and keratin, neutralising yellow and brassy tones and provides intense treatment. Upon opening the lid, the product is not covered by a film, it is a more light purple in colour. There is a very pleasant smell to the product. The product is nice and not too thick. When using shampoo and conditioner on my hair with the Toni&Guy Purple range which has Pearl Extract I towel dried my hair very well used a wet brush to comb hair and apply on my hair a nice thick layer. I used gloves to make sure that the product is distributed evenly throughout your hair. I then used a shower cap once applied and left the product in for 5 minutes, while watching the colour tone like you would a hair colour, as to reach the level I like. Due to the thickness and very course hair and the various tones of blonde/grey I have I left the Purple Toning Mask in for 5 minutes until I got the result I wanted. A lovely clean, shiny, milk colour blonde. Please note that this did not tone my grey hair as we all know grey is hard to tone, but the overall result was magic. I washed the mask out once it reached the tone desired, my hair was left beautifully soft, smell amazing and ready to dry with my choice of drying. I used a hairdryer and was so excited with the result. No more yellow, no more frizz, but a lovely milky colour throughout all my colours and shine to boot. YAY! Please note that the greys were not covered, we all know how stubborn they are. To my surprise, this purple colour toned down all the brassy, and blonde tones to a very nice milky blonde colour. This has saved me recolouring my hair by 2 weeks which is great for the health of the hair. A winner for me and a product I will continue to use on my blonde, thick, frizzy course hair, which of course is no more. It is now silky smooth and shiny with milky coloured tones. 5 stars

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good mask for the price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Toni &Guy purple toning mask to trial in conjunction with the matching shampoo and conditioner, thank you BH! I love hair masks as my hair needs extra TLC with having regular blonde highlights which can leave it quite dry. It comes in a plastic tub which I find a bit fiddly to use with wet hands in the shower. However the mask itself has a nice thick creamy consistency and smells great. After shampooing I applied the mask all o ermy hair and then put a shower cap on for extra benefits, trapping in the heat helps it to penetrate into the hair. I left it on while I shaved my legs etc. After about 4 minutes I rinsed thoroughly and blow dried my hair. It does leave my hair nice and soft, it will be interesting to see how it works on my frizzy hair in our Queensland humidity. I would purchase again at this price point.

I have a lot of good things to say about it. It has a nice packaging with easy to use instructions. the smell is pleasant and it really delivers moisture and nourishment to the hair. I would say it is a must use after the purple shampoo which leaves the hair a little dry, this mask fixes it straight away. the fact that it is a professional product available in supermarkets and chemists, is also a plus, especially if you find it on sale. it has a pleasant smell, it doesnt smell too chemical like other purple products for blondes I have used before. it has keratin which make the hair nice and soft.

The mask was thick and creamy and was easy to apply from the tub. I washed my hair as normal using the shampoo, then I used the conditioner, followed by the mask. On the tub, it said to shampoo then use the mask treatment, I really wasn’t sure if the conditioner was part of the process or not. Either way I felt both the conditioner and the mask was of similar nature, both products made my hair feel softer and more manageable. As a result I personally would only purchase one or the other.

I’m always looking for something g to keep my dyed blonde hair clean the whole time and not lose its shine and softness, and this really did succeed. The mask worked by ensuring my hair was a great tone of blonde with no yellowing and dryness. The texture was quite thick but that makes it easy to not use too much product. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes and voila-a perfect clean soft blonde once blow dried. The Toni&Guy purple toning mask would go a long way as there is a lot there in the tub. I would recommend this mask to all the blondes out there that was to combat dryness and yellow ness in the blonde hair!!

I have been really happy with the toning properties of the Shampoo and Conditioner already, so I wasn't sure if a mask was really needed but I do really like this one! I definitely don't think it's necessary for every wash, probably more of a once a week type product. I leave it on for around 3mins or so and then wash off, have found my hair very silky and shiny afterwards. I would be interested to leave it a bit longer and see if the toning gets stronger with more time but as it is the tone of my blonde hair is left just perfect without any brassiness or purple tones. I have loved using the Toni & Guy Blonde range and really recommend giving it a go if you're looking for blonde toning hair care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a part of the Trial Team for Toni&Guy Purple range, and as with all the other reviews am going to split it into two ratings in my review – rating of the purple, and rating of the product. I feel it is only fair to do. I also review each item both individually, as a part of the routine using all 3. Product Rating: 5/5 A really lovely mask. It is nourishing and smoothing, helping to soften the hair especially if dry from bleaching/using purple shampoo. A little does go a long way, which is amazing for my long and thick hair! I'm not a fan of the Toni&Guy smell but it was not overpowering. Even though it was super hydrating, it didnt' weigh down my hair, which is a big plus. Purple Rating: 2/5 Similar to the conditioner of the purple Toni&Guy range, the purple is lacking. There is not enough pigment in the mask to actively tone any dullness or brassiness to the hair when used alone. The trick of these ranges is to use all three products together, as the shampoo is the product with all the power. When used alone I noticed no difference in the tone of my hair. Even though the purple is lacking in this mask, I would buy it again. If I was going to use the Toni&Guy purple products, I would use the shampoo and the mask. The mask occasionally to hydrate my hair when it needs more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely mask for blonde hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 53 year old blonde haired woman I think I have tried almost every product aimed at my hair type. Often I am left disappointed as the products don't tone my brassiness or they leave my hair with a slight purple tinge. I am also concerned how the products will react to my tiles in the shower as I have been left in the past with slight purple splashes on my tiles that have been really difficult to remove. I have very fine, fickle hair that doesn't like too much moisture so I was VERY wary about using this mask. The fragrance is beautiful and the thick cream feels beautifully luxurious. It is recommended that you leave the mask on your hair for 3-5 minutes but I wasn't game enough to do that as I have had too many bad experiences with masks. I washed my hair with the Purple shampoo from the same range and then applied the mask and left it for around 90 seconds before rinsing out. This worked really well for me and I was thrilled that I had a visible reduction in brassiness and my hair was really easily styled without any sign of limp/lacklustre hair. Whilst I enjoyed this product I am more than happy to continue with just the shampoo and conditioner as I found those 2 products to be more than enough to keep my brassiness away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rewards room haul I was excited to try this as I get foils every few months and as a mum of two my time is precious so to think I could tone and get a treatment in one Iwas hooked!. First off the tub shape... not going to lie, its hard really hard to get the lid off in the shower. Wet hands, smooth tub. My hands must be smallish and really couldnt get a grip anywhere on the container. My pro tip is to open it before you get into the shower! This was an amazing mask. The colour is a soft pastel, so dont think its going to be like a toning shampoo would be. My hair was so soft and swishy afterwards! it really imparted a nice shine to my hair which can be a bit straw-like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rewards Room 2019 Nov TONI&GUY Purple Mask comes in a generous 285mL tub. Now, formula being consistency of regular conditioners, would be better if placed in a squeezy tube. It is quite runny for the tub, perfect for tube even a pump. The tint: pastel blue, not really saturated with purple pigment. Quite diluted, so purple pigment in the mask gives that blue pastel vibe. Since the pigment is not saturated in the formula , mask really does not tone anything but... Mask makes my processed (highlighted, super fine strands, waist long...and I am 177 cm with long back, so quite long) after just one use so soft and so easy to brush it is incredible! Especially after I lighten parts of my hair, they are super hard to brush trough when wet. Not after using this mask! For toning: 2 stars . Would be good for maintenance in between using something powerful as a Fanola No Yellow Vegan shampoo and mask. So bleached parts of hair will not turn grey/silver/purplish. This mask is safe in that regard as pigment is very light and mask can be used with every wash (I wash my hair 2 x week). Really great for conditioning and making hair so very easy to brush when wet (dry as well obviously). And keeps my hair looking smooth (not puffy), shiny and not weighted down. For this reason I gave extra stars. And the fragrance is not strong either. Rarely I can find a hair product that can make my long , very fine strands, detangle so easy without snapping dreds and knots out of my procesed bits. Improving product: placing in a tube (as mask is runny) and saturating it with pigment (as has not enough to tone yellow or brassy hair).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compliment to the Purple Range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to review the Purple Toning Mask along with the Toni & Guy Shampoo & Conditioner Purple range. As part of the trial I was instructed to use the mask as a leave in treatment or heat protector. My hair took longer to blow dry and did not like the smell as I was using my straightener. I did not like the heaviness of the mask and I also found my hair to get very oily quickly. As a product to use in the shower, following shampooing & conditioning my suggestion would be to change the packaging. Not only is a tub hard to handle, it is also prone to get water inside from wet hands and the shower stream. This product is much better used outside the shower on towel dried hair, left on for 5-10 minutes and rinsed well. I used the product this way weekly to compliment the range and found my hair felt very soft & bouncy. I could not really see any difference to the toning properties I had already received from the shampoo & conditioner.

Similar to the conditioner, however, the purple is lacking so there really is not enough pigment in the mask to actively tone any dullness or brassiness to the hair when used alone. This means you really cannot get benefit from using the mask on your own and would need to use all three products in the range. Other than that, it is a good mask but not my favourite. I also did not LOVE the smell.

I have fine blonde hair, when I opened the mask, the creamy texture was very light and when I put it on my hair, it smelt great. Even the pearl extract has made my hair very soft and smooth. Unfortunately I can not use to much keratin on my hair, so I did use this product only once every 2 weeks. It it enriched with violet dye, it neutrilised my yellow and brassy tones and highlighted the blonde streaks. This container is also great for the price.

The use of the shampoo and conditioner provided the same results for toning my hair so the mask was more for just nourishing it. The texture of the mask was good and the jar was easy to use. My hair was left soft, shiny and conditioned. I didn’t like the smell of this mask. Like the conditioner, I found it to have a chemical smell which was unpleasant. If the scent was nicer I would be more inclined to purchase it.

I found i only used a small amount and it was enough to nourish my hair that it needed. Great sized products. Easy to use and versatile. Found i could use for either a in shower hair mask or for added moisture for the day could use on dry hair. Loved how nice my hair looked after using it. Didnt leave any residue so didnt have any of the hard pieces in my hair. Made my hair feel softer and easier to style for the day. Softness lasted a while and products seem cost effective for how much you need to use vs how much it cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Existence is Unnecessary but Sure [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this as a hair mask left my hair feeling soft which is better than a lot of other 'treatment' masks will do. My issue is that it doesn't need to be a toning mask because if you're using the shampoo and conditioner that would be enough and I doubt how much this is actually going to contribute in terms of toning your hair. It wouldn't be enough to tone without the shampoo and conditioner, and could then just be a nourishing mask. Nothing wrong with it but not everything has to be purple when it comes to maintaining blonde hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not tone, but creates a soft finish During lockdown my blonde streaks have gone nasty. I should've done more research before buying this but really wanted to fix the problem asap. This product did not tone the blonde at all, the colour still looks the same. Brassy and embarrassing. However it did make my hair very nice and soft! And also smells very nice, although more like a chemical salon smell. Won't buy again as I can buy any other hair mask to soften my hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible packaging [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start with, I hate tubs that you have to scoop the product out with your fingers. The design is so impractical for items that are intended to be used in the shower, it needs to be either a pump or squeeze tube. The product is a thick cream that has a slight purple hue. I dislike the scent, it's difficult to explain but it has an unpleasant 'artificial' smell. I didn't notice the smell lasting in my hair after rinsing it out so that was good. I used this mask as the last step after the shampoo and conditioner in the same range; honestly I really didn't notice any toning on my bleached blonde hair. I also didn't find it very nourishing as my hair felt quite dry after using this regime. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this as part of the trial team as I would have been pretty disappointed if I had actually paid for this hair mask.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really cant handle the scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the purpose of this trial, we were told to use this mask as a leave in conditioner. I tried that and found that for me this was not ideal as it left my hair feeling rather straw like and I could feel the product in my hair. Plus, the scent of this product is not one that I like at all. It is a very strong soapy smell and using it as a leave in conditioner means that the scent lingers the entire time that the product is on my hair. I found that it was much better for me to use it as a mask. Apply and leave on for 5 minutes and then wash out. This left my hair feeling lovely and soft with no brassiness and a wonderfully healthy shine. The hard part was leaving the mask on and dealing with the over powering scent. I like how this product made my hair feel but the scent really is a big negative for me so I don't think I would repurchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase. Watered down. They probably profit off of this so much because it’s barley a condition if you could even say that. There is NO purple and NO toning in it . They put in white co Rainer so you can’t see how awful it is. I’ve used their purple shampoo as well and it is absolutely disgusting and drying
