Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wake Me Up Hydra [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This face wash has 4 points it states on the package. 1) Refreshed, yes it definitely makes your face feel fresh with a menthol like feel to it. 2) Cleansed, yes it definitely makes your face feel fresh and removes any dirt and oils. 3) No tight feeling, this wasn’t exactly true for me, definitely not a great deal of tightness, however there was some once skin started to dry and before applying moisturiser. 4) Vitamins, not really able to assess anything about this. I did notice the product is chemical heavy and made Overseas, both these points are a negative for myself. It does have an amazing scent, consistency and lather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that upon using the product, and for a short time afterwards, it definitely creates a cool and refreshing feeling. It doesn’t leave the skin feeling tight, which is a positive, but the price tag of the product would probably put me off buying it again. Perhaps if it is on a good special, otherwise the effects wouldn’t justify the money, for me personally.

My face did not feel dry or oily after use. However I found the level of fragrance way too high. I found it remained on my skin at a high level and was distracting as it over powered my smell of other things.

It has the typical "men's product" smell which is reminiscent of a high school boys' locker room with too much deodorant. However if you don't mind that kind of smell the facewash does a decent job of cleansing and feeling fresh afterwards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deteriorating Quality I have been using this product for over 14 years and in the last 2 years L'oreal have changed it's packaging with some cheap plastic that has a very ruptured feel and the cap breaks even at a tiny drop in the shower and all the liquid skips the bottle followed by that. Didn't expect this level of cheapness from a global company that is churning humungous amount of profits year after year by cheating it's customers .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't like the product L'Oréal Men Expert Hydra Energetic Wake Up Effect Face Wash as I found it burned my eyes, on closer inspection of the instructions it noted to avoid eye contact, I found this very silly considering it is a face wash product. The product definitely had the "wake up effect" when it was burning my eyes.
