Directions

Unlock the pump for first time use by twisting it to the left and pressing down several times until the product comes out.
Apply liberally to the face and neck in the morning 15 minutes before sun exposure.

It does glide onto the skin pretty nice. I really like the pump bottle as it is easy to use and I don't worry about it leaking in my bag. Another bonus is it doesn't go onto the skin too white from the sunscreen.

It doesn't feel greasy or chalky after application and is easy to apply. It is a perfect base for makeup and absorbs quickly ,my make up lasts all day with this as my base. I usually apply an extra later of sunscreen with a higher SPF on top of this lotion but it still feels light. It is hydrating, feels comfortable on my skin and makes my face feel moisturised all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight daily moisturiser with SPF [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cerave AM moisturiser is lightweight and non-greasy when used and I find it has been working well with my foundation (no fluffs or clumps). The combination of ingredients is quite unique with a mixture of ceramides, hydraluronic acid and niacinamides all working cohesively to achieve better skin. After a few weeks of use I haven't noticed a significant difference in the texture of my skin however I love the idea that it works by adding more much loved ingredients into my skincare. It is SPF 15 which for myself personally is enough for running errands but for a day out I find I need to use another moisturiser in top (if only it was SPF 50!). It also comes in a pump bottle which I love for ease of use. Overall, would definitely recommend for this moisturiser for anyone looking for an affordable day time cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A basic moisturiser I really love the original PM Cerva facial moisturising lotion. Very similar in texture and consistency. I love that CeraVe use quality ingredients such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide- a lovely cocktail to replenish and nourish the skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the day. This lotion is also great for people who don't love strong smelling and chemical-free products as it is paraben-free, fragrance free, allergy tested, oil-free and non-comedogenic. No break outs or rashes in sight. The one downside of this AM formulation, however, is that the SPF is too low. SPF 15 needs to be at least SPF30, especially in the Australian sun. Perhaps this is something CeraVe could work on. If the SPF was higher, I would have given this product an extra star.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK I feel like this is just an overpriced version of the moisturising lotion for body with a tiny amount of SPF. SPF 15 is by no means enough so what is the point of paying for it when I much prefer the moisturising lotion which I use on both face and body, daily. While there isn't anything terribly wrong with this product its just not worth it for me. It smells like SPF despite being only SPF 15. Some positives are that the texture is nice and it does hydrate the skin. All other Cerave products I love, this one is unfortunately a miss for me. If Cerave came out with an SPF 50 version I would certainly give it a try.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stick to the PM lotion I don't usually write reviews but I dislike this so much, I thought I better leave a review. I love the PM lotion so thought I would give this a go. I thought it would be more of a moisturiser with some SPF but it feels and looks like putting thick white sunscreen on your face. The worst part is that it pills off your face during the day, which its horrific.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good under makeup I have been using the CeraVe PM Lotion for about a year now and loved it so I decided to try the AM one for winter months when I don't really need a strong separate SPF. It is okay as a general moisturiser if you're not wearing makeup but as soon as you try to apply makeup over the top it pills and rolls off your face. I don't feel like I am getting the full benefit using this product so I will stick to the PM lotion with a separate SPF.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It would be perfect if it didn’t pill [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Cerave range, and was really excited to try this sunscreen as it’s something I use everyday. The texture of the product is great, it leaves no white cast or grease, and soaked into the skin nicely leaving it hydrated. I love that it’s a multitasker: it has niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. But the reason I’m only giving it 2 stars is because as soon as it’s dry on the skin, it is prone to “pilling”. Meaning if you touch your face at all, it will feel as if your skin is shedding. For this reason I found it hard to put foundation or makeup over the top unless I was super careful to sponge on my foundation. If I used my fingers, the cream would pill off my face, which means I wouldn’t be getting the full spf 15. Unless you’re really good at not touching your face or don’t wear make up. I’ve been using it on the back of my hand so I don’t waste it, and because your hands need spf care too! This would be otherwise a fantastic product, but for me it’s too much of a deterrent for me to buy the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't like smell or feel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product to smell too much like sunscreen. I would have preferred it to be just a moisturiser, and then I can decide which sunscreen to use on top; especially, as the SPF in this moisturiser isn't high enough anyways. I prefer a moisturiser that penetrates the skin much deeper, as I felt my make up didn't sit nicely on top and flaked very early on in the day. This product would probably be good for someone who isn't going to wear any make up and just needs a basic daily moisturiser.
