General Information

Children's upper arm bedwetting alarm for ages 5+. When the child wets the bed, a moisture-sensitive alarm will sound and/or vibrate helping the child to recognise and respond to the sensation of a full bladder while asleep.

• DO NOT use the product on a child without a night shirt or pyjama top.
This is important to avoid strangulation risk.

Directions

Please read the full Instructions for Use provided with the product prior to using.

Using the Bedwetting Alarm
1. Select which Mode you wish to use via the mode switch.
2. Attach the product to the child's upper arm. Insert the plastic hook into the small loop of the arm band. Adjust the tightness to ensure it fits snugly, but comfortably (not too tight).
3. Attach the sensor clip cord to the alarm connector by lining up the connection pin plastic tabs with the connector grooves and inserting the connection pin. Then turn the connection pin clockwise until it is tightly secured (i.e. you cannot pull the two cords apart).
4. Pass the cord under the child's pyjama top to avoid strangulation risk.
5. Open the sensor clip via the lever and attach it to the child's underwear/ pyjama pants (where urine is most likely). Ensure the sensor clip is closed firmly on the fabric and that the cord does not hinder the child's movement.
6. At the first sign of moisture, the alarm will sound and/or vibrate to wake the child. The LED indicator will flash blue.
7. As soon as the child wakes up (they may need assistance from you) turn off the alarm and unclip it from the child's underwear (you can teach the child to do this themselves). They should then go to the toilet and finish emptying their bladder.
8. Immediately clean and dry the product (to avoid corrosion of the sensor clip) as per Cleaning instructions and re-attach it to a clean dry pair of underwear or pyjama pants.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Storage
• Clean the product as per Cleaning instructions.
• Turn the product to the OFF Mode and leave the sensor clip in the open position when not in use.
• Keep the product and its components out of reach of children when not in use.
• Store in a safe cool dry place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised Tried this on mr8 and the first time was a bit fiddly as the arm band was a bit big, and he was complaining about wearing undies under a nappy and I was a bit confused about where and how to clip on undies, but once once you figured it out it was ok and he slept well with it on. We had 4 wet nights then he went to grandparents for 5 days and I decided not to try to teach 70y olds how to set it up. I picked him up on day 5 and was told he’s had 4 dry nights. Once home we’ve had 2dry nights . I’m pretty impressed as to how it’s helped, fingers crossed dry nights continue and if not we’ll go back to the alarm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price and effective. It worked well. By the second week my son was having dry nights. Pros: Worked with the smallest amount of wetness. He would wake to the alarm, yell for me and then go to the toilet. We also learned his pattern that he was able to hold it all night but was going early in the morning. I would recommend this product. Cons: He couldn't turn off the alarm himself. He would yell for me and sometimes I found it tricky in the middle of the night. As well, my son is very slim so it was hard to get the monitor tight around his arm. I had to tuck his PJ sleeve around it so that it did not slip down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its taken a few weeks but definite improvement. It took about 4 weeks to see any real results. And its very tempting to just give up when its going off every single night. But we stuck at it and our 6 year old son is dry most of the time now. The clip that attaches on to their underwear is a bit hard to use and not kid friendly at all so you will absolutely need to get out of bed to help them. The switch on the arm band is horribly designed too. The wiring inside the clip also came apart but lucky my husband is handy with electronics and just soldered it back together. All up its very expensive for what it is but it did work for us so you just have weigh up how much you'll spend on nappies or pull ups.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, some false alarms for hot sleepers We have been using this for 3 weeks so far, our first dry night last night. It might be a fluke, but we think it likely that we may have had a few false alarms, so she may have had a few dry nights already and we haven't realised. It worked well for the first 2 weeks, and in the 3rd week suddenly we seemed to have many more wake ups. As per other reviews, we think they were triggered by sweat. Last night we had less blankets, and my daughter wore 2 undies, and the alarm did not go off. There's no way she can turn the alarm off by herself or manage to unclip the sensor let alone put it on to a clean pair. We've had to help with this every time. Overall it works very well.

It is easy to use, holds charge for days and has a clear and loud alarm with a vibrate option. I was concerned that the quality wouldn't be very good but I've been pleasantly surprised. The arm band is strange and hard to fasten but we've been able to get it to stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Actually works! I bought this for my son with an intellectual disability. As he was growing, he was showing no sign of staying dry overnight and had to wear pull ups. It was starting to affect his self confidence. I bought this alarm feeling hopeful, but I did have my doubts it would work. Surprisingly it worked just as described. Unfortunately the alarm had a problem with the battery and couldn’t be charged, but that was resolved easily by Chemist Warehouse and I would absolutely recommend this product as an option to try in combatting bed wetting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Alarm that works The alarm is abnoxious and vibrates to wake up my daughter who is a very heavy sleeper. She is more confident knowing when to get up and go. However, we have found it is incredibly sensitive and as she runs hot when she's sleeping, sometimes the sweat makes it go off for 'no reason'. We have found placing it in different spots helps this issue because it was waking us up!

The alarm itself can be sensitive at times and will activate for no apparent reason. The arm band easily falls off, no matter how many times we adjust it. Other than that, we are really happy with the product.

The beeping wakes him (but not his brother in the top bunk!) and often before he's too wet. Only negatives are the armband can be tricky to tighten and the clip that goes onto his undies is really tough to use, he needs my help everytime which is annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great success! Purchased 2 weeks ago for my 7 year old son, a heavy sleeper who has been in night nappies and is starting to get self conscious. The device has helped him be more aware of when he needs to get up in the night to go to the toilet. We’ve had one slight “accident” so far. It’s a really loud alarm so we just use the buzzer/vibration setting. I made sure I slept in the same room to help him shut it off in the middle of the night as well as get him out of bed to go to the toilet as he’s usually still half asleep. This is not fun for child or parent. Persevere as long as you can as it’s easy for the child to slip back into old habits. One criticism is the buttons are hard to see and switch on/off. It’s easy to charge and attach to underwear or pj’s. Overall I am really happy with this product. I would recommend to anyone :-)
