Directions

Always apply Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer on clean brows, before applying foundation.

To achieve a natural microbladed look, use the micro-trident tip to draw small, hair-like strokes diagonally along the brow and inner corners.
For a bolder look, use the thick, flat section of the tip to fill in brows.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This one surprised me - I don't usually use eyebrow pencils as they always seem to be too dark and fake but this was fantastic - it was so easy to use and the colour looked so natural - loved the blonde, it was just enough to fill in my eyebrows without looking fake and over drawn on. Quick and easy to do on busy mornings before work too. Loved it - would buy it over a pencil everytime! \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have only recently started to use eye brow products - as I get older my eye brows are fading and can sometimes appear patchy.  I liked the natural colour of this product but am still practicing how to perfect using it - if you don't press hard enough you don't get any colour but if you press too hard you get too much colour and I can't stand the look of painted on eyebrows.  This product lasted well during the day, including gym sessions, and was easy to clean off at the end of the day.  I'd recommend this product to people who are after subtle brow enhancement,  I was lucky enough to trial this product for Beauty Crew but would certainly buy it.

The shape and design of the brush is perfect for a natural look with easy lines and natural strokes, just push down a little harder for extra product while a light brush just fills in the gaps. It needed a bit of top during the day though if doing full face but as its so easy to use was no problem. Great product if its a no make up day and you just want to do a quick brow and mascara job. Anything that makes your brows look full while still looking natural is such a win. Really good price point too.

The smell of the pen reminded my of a felt tip pen. I liked how easy it was to use and I liked that you could darker it with a few goes or keep it light and natural looking. An all round good one. I would recommend this one for sure!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hi \nSo I have been using this eyebrow definer for 3 weeks and have found it to be fantastic. It matched my colour eyebrows perfectly and looked completely natural. I like a natural makeup look but that still entails a full face of makeup. This product is easy to use and I just did small strokes over my eyebrows. It stayed on all day. It was slightly difficult to remove but I guess if the name says tattoo it’s obviously hard to remove. I will definitely repurchase as it the better than any of my previous eyebrow pencils.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am lucky enough to be given he opportunity to review 3 of L’Oreals products: Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer, Signature Tattoo Eyeliner and the Unlimited Mascara. \n\nWhile the other two products I found a bit so-so this eyebrow definer for me was the knock out product of the bunch. I naturally have quite dark eyebrows with a few sparse patches of hair so anything to help define them I’ll give a go. \n\nI’m in love, don’t get me wrong I find I still need to use a gel to ‘set’ my brows into place but this product is so easy and quick to use, the tip of the pen applies hair like strokes that help to fill in the patches that need to be filled in and it doesn’t smudge. \n\nI was given the colour  ‘Cool Brunette’ and its a perfect match. While the Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer isn’t cheap, it’s definitely worth it. \n

My eyebrows did not look drawn on or fake in any way and the depth with the color was great. I'll be adding this to my eyebrow regime that's for sure!! \n

It took a while to see the effect it was supposed to do and foundation/ concealer was picking up on the pen tip, and i would still need to use another product to darken.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The L’Oréal Paris Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer is a great concept for natural looking eyebrows. \nThe tip on the pen allows you to apply multiple hair like strokes at once, which gives the natural eyebrow look/micro-bladed brow look. I would advise applying this product onto clean skin, prior to any other makeup application if possible for best results. \nUnfortunately I cannot give this product a higher star count as the one I tried was far too light for me, but I am intrigued to purchase a darker colour. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked the idea of the brow artist micro tattoo, however I think there needs to be improvements. I found that instead of doing light strokes, I had to press harder on my brows to use and see the product. The end result isn't as good as my powder brow products and I think there needs to be more pigmentation to the product to see better results. I did like the tip of the product with the comb like tip to mimic brow hair and the product is light and easy to carry in make-up bags. It is easy to use and dries quickly after application but I don't think I would purchase this product.

I used the blond pen so maybe it may have just been that I needed the darker colour. But found it took a lot longer to get the results I wanted compared to a regular pencil. Would perhaps try a darker colour next time

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I found this product really hard to use, which is a shame because I was so excited to try it!\nMy eyebrows are quite patchy and i usually have to use a brow pencil to shape them a bit, so this product was not helpful in getting that basic shape I need. However, I can see how if your brows are pretty much done without any product then this would be a great way to fill in some sparse areas without having to adjust the shape at all.\n

However I didn't think there was quite enough pigment to give me a defined tail to my brow. I found myself reaching for another product to give me what I wanted. Having said that, the head of the brow looked great. I think if you have plenty of hair and a good shape, this would be great for giving a thicker more defined look, but with my sparse hairs, it's not enough on it's own.\nI did find the pen not as wet feeling with each subsequent use - making me feel like this product may run out quickly. I have found this to be the case with similar brow products. Great idea but I think it still needs a little more finessing.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love the premise of the product. It performs just ok for me as I felt it lacked pigment. The brush tip is a marker style in a unique 3 pronged fork. It takes alot to get the product flowering through the applicator. I have naturally dark brows and felt that the dark brown shade was not pigmented enough to use this as a stand alone product. I get a very subtle brow when I use this, a shade darker may suit my needs more. I still reccomed using a brow billing product like a fibre gel to get the full affect.

The pigmentation is lovely and the packaging feels and looks nice as well - very slim and sleek. Unfortunately the colour I was sent was a bit too light for my very dark hair, but if I had the correct colour I could see myself loving this!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is an unusual brow pen that comes with a felt tip that has three tips. The idea is that the felt shape will help in creating hair-like strokes for a natural look. It claims to last for 24 hours without smudging.\nAt first, I wasn’t sure how to use the pen but quickly got the hang of it: Starting on the widest part of the brow, I’d place the tip so that it was vertical on my brow and drew strokes towards the outer edges of the brow. As the eyebrow tapers, I’d then angle it so that it was more horizontal or in the same direction as the brow end. I think the product works well in creating a natural look with fine strokes that avoid that ‘blocky’ look. The product also lasted well throughout the day and did not smudge on me. However, my biggest issue with this product is that it only comes in 3 colours in Australia - blonde, brunette and cool brunette, whereas it is launched with 5-6 colours in Europe. Given that I have black hair and black eyebrows, the brunette colours are too light for me.  Considering how multi-cultural Australia is, I hope that L’Oreal can launch more colours to cater to different people. The lack of colour choice is reflected in my rating.\nDisclaimer: I received this product from BeautyCrew to trial, but the above review is my own opinion.\n\n

Firstly I wish i chose the darker option,  I chose brunette and it wasnt dark enough for me. This pen is meant to give a microblading affect and thats exacty what it does, I am super impressed with this intially but not with the lasting power of this product. I feel like it needs to be a bit more pigmented and that would benefit alot from it. I have used it for the past week and I feel like iam already running out of product! I will obvisouly keep am eye on it to see how long it lasts. Overall i love the concept of this product but just needs to be more pigmented.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lately, I’m finding as I get older I’m becoming more and more obsessed with my eyebrows. So when they’re not tinted a great product is needed and so I had high hopes for this product.\nSomething that mimics the look of microblading without the pain, sign me up.\nFirst go, Wow was super impressed with the natural look this easy to use “pen” gave. Longevity was great lasted longer than my foundation. Came off easily, I was a happy camper.\nUntil my next uses. I’m not sure if it’s just me. When I store it in my cup I put it upside down but it felt a lot dryer. Still went on but not as quickly and I noticed the colour change in the tip.\nThere’s no mechanism on it like you would have a pencil, so you can see if there’s more in there. My lid was on properly. Unfortunately this is only worse within each use.\nI’m sad to say this won’t be a repeat purchase for me. Great concept but needs more work.\n

The strokes looked extremely natural on my skin and appeared as though they were hairs. The downside to this pen was that the colour was extremely feint. I had to sometimes re-trace my lines 3-4 times till it remotely showed up at all. I am unsure if my pen was slightly dry or not...? But if it was a tad bit more pigmented it would have been perfect. It didn't budge all day and I am rather oily so that is a bonus.\n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I so wanted to love the L’Oréal Paris Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer and on the back of my hand I was in love. Unfortunately, once I hit my actual brows, it failed to impress. The applicator couldn't handle a make upd face and barely any powder/liquid was transferred to my little patchy brow areas I so desperately wanted to be filled. It's a fabulous concept to mimic the microblading trend in a less permanent way and the colouring (I used the Brunette) was natural. If it ever works like it did on the back of my hand, it seems to suit a subtle rather than bold look so I'll keep playing with this one and hopefully my star rating can rise next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The L’Oréal Paris Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer is a great concept, the tip looks really cool and designed to be able to get the look of multiple strokes with one stroke (to look more natural) but it just didn't work for me. I don't know if I didn't build it enough but it just didn't effectively cover the bald patches in my eyebrows. I usually use pencil and/or gel and will continue to use these options. I want to like it ... but it just isn't a product that will make it into my daily routine.

The brow blades were thin but hard to press onto my skin to get the colour out without totally eradicating the micro blade look. I found that when I applied it, I had to press much harder to get the colour onto my skin, especially over the top of my makeup. Just thinly applying the micro blade actually meant no colour was being applied. It just didn’t work on top of make up. Therefore, I ended up using it like more of a brow marker pen, colouring in areas rather than getting the micro blade defined look. The colour was nice and blended well with my lashes. It also stayed on all day which was great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I love the idea of this product. I have almost black hair and I tried the cool brunette colour. It was way too light so unfortunately I wasn't able to use it on its own, I felt that I would have to go over the same area to try darken it, but that would blur the lines and defeat the purpose of the feathered tip. \n\nThere are also a couple of other hang ups I had with the product other than it being too light. When I applied it after my base makeup, the applicator would just pick up all the makeup on my face and I would need to wipe it off before using it again to actually get pigment. \n\nSo I tried doing my eyebrows before my base to see if it worked better, I found that when the product is applied to bare skin, it bleeds - so ultimately it defeated the purpose of the feathered tip. \n\nAs I said, I LOVE the idea of this product, but it has a fair way to go.\n

The tip is quite okay, maybe could be a bit firmer. It did fill my brows a bit but if you need lot of fine tuning then I would not recommend it.

I did however find that this made a good base for keeping eyebrow pencil on exactly where desired. Clever design And would recommend for lighter brows or for touch ups.
