Rated 3 out of 5 by from Huggies Essentials These are basic value nappies with better absorbance than a home brand. The nappies still fill easily though they don't leave any residue only slight dampness on her skin if they are left on all night. I only buy them as a fill in because they are available at the chemist a few doors up and readily available whereas they don't stock our regular if something is needed then and there. They still have large spill barriers and a soft texture though. If they weren't available on suck a large pack so affordably I would not buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but not great Have bought these nappies in the past to save a few dollars however I found them to be a bit rough on the skin leaving red marks on my baby, and also waking up in the morning wet from them leaking. I have found other cheaper brands to be better than these. Worth spending the extra dollars for the huggies ultimates.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They're okay We used these nappies when Huggies origonally changed the ultra dry range, hoping they held up to the original ultra dry nappies at a better price. They were better than the ultra dry became, but overall there are better nappies for a cheaper price. If I couldn't find my normal nappies, these would probably be my back up choice but otherwise I don't really bother.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Always buy huggies nappies, my son went up a size and I didn’t realise the essential range was different! They feel cheaper not as compact and as thick as the ultimate range. Tend to go through a lot more nappies than I used too as they fill up a lot quicker and almost look withered sometimes. Deffinetley not the worst nappies I have tried slightly cheaper than the ultimate huggies but not necessarily worth it as you go through them quicker.

My daughter didn’t get any nappy rashes when using these nappies which is also a bonus! I would opt for the huggies ultimate first but these are okay for anybody wanting to save a couple of dollars !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks I wasn’t that impressed with these nappies. They look cheap and although they are less expensive than others, I would prefer to buy Aldi nappies over these. I had numerous leaks using these nappies overnight and they seemed to not fit that well on my son. I also think the design is bland.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only good for price... I bought these nappies long time before as i saw it on sale. According to price the quantity of nappies are great but the quality is not that good. It was not leaking but getting heavy in just few hours. I need to change it after every 3 to 4 hours unless my daughter got rashes and redness around that area. Not a good experience with me.

Had a couple of leak issues here and there and the outer material doesn’t feel as soft as the ones I buy (ultimate). The only good thing is they are cheaper than others. For these type of products I think is worth to spend a bit more.

The ultimate/ultra dry range, while more expensive, are better quality and I found that I probably didn’t save myself that much money factoring in the amount of nappies we went through! Not a huge fan!

Babylove or aldi are my go to's. I found these not nearly as absorbent as the ultimate and as my son sleeps 13 plus hours overnight, these just dont hold up.

But sadly cheaper also meant not as good quality as the level you would expect from the original huggies nappies. They tend to leak more often and they are quite a small make, when i opened the pack i thought that i must of accidently bought a pack of premie nappies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too many leaks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these to try as they are cheaper than the other Huggies products. I had high hopes for them due to the Huggies brand name. However, I did not like them at all. Unfortunately my little one had too many leaks in these. They definitely don’t feel as good quality as all the other Huggies products which is disappointing. I would recommend spending a bit more for better quality nappies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointing. I purchased a pack of these yesterday when my store was out of small packs of the ultra dry size 2. Upon opening, they are no where near as nice as the ultra dry nappies! They are rougher outside and in, and much thinner than the ultra dry. The savings is definitely not worth it. I've used huggies since my first born 19 years ago, and will continue to do so, but will never buy this product again.

The price is decent, love the Mickey print (the reason I bought them when I stockpiled nappies to be honest), didn't get any leakages or marks on babies legs. But they did feel thinner and cheaper. Smaller fit, baby grew out of these before any of the other newborn brands

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan My husband brought these home from IGA one day because of the cute Mickey Mouse print. They feel very thin and not as soft as the other Huggies nappies. They are not as absorbent and are probably ok for a back up nappy in the car or nappy bag. I would not buy these again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok product These are what are classed as the budget nappy of Huggies. I find they feel quite cheaply made and don't feel like they would be too comfortable for bubs either. We were gifted a pack and as soon as we ran out we stopped using them. The positive is that they still have the wet marker on the front and they also have the cute designs.

They are also quite different sizing then the normal huggies, being much smaller. They say funny on my daughter. They do have a great absorbency though and the way line indicator which is handy.

I thought being Huggies they would still perform great but they are not as soft and absorbent as usual. Not sure why they want to have three different ranges of nappies.

They would be perfect to have scattered around for your emergency stash such as in the car etc but for every day use I tend to go for more reliable options.

They don’t absorb as well as the other Huggies for as well as other brands so they feel better sooner than other ones. I would not buy them again or recommend them.

They are cute and very good price point but I didn't find the quality to the normal Huggies standard. But like anything, you get what you pay for. We only tried the newborn size and there were lots of blowouts, so I can't speak of the other sizes. There are definitely better products with a similar price

They were too tight for our bubs which resulted in nappy rash and indents in his skin from the snug fit. We found other brands a better fit for him, that weren’t too tight around his tummy

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay but no Snugglers When I realised that Huggies had stopped making Snugglers and brought these out instead I was excited to try them as Snugglers were my go-to cheap daytime nappy. Unfortunately these are nowhere near as good. They seem flimsy in comparison and I can generally only get about 3 hours wear out of them before I have to change them. The price point is good but not worth it for using twice the amount of nappies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LEAKED I bought these when my baby was a newborn and they leaked. I didn't like the fit and it made my daughter quite red. there was always tight marks on her legs and she isn't a chunky Bub. I know everyone loves buggies but I don't see the hype to be honest.

Any time these were left on for more than a couple hours or over night they leaked badly and have also given my little one red rashes on his bottom and thighs. I also find the wetness indicator to not be reliable. So many times it’s still yellow but the actual nappy is very heavy and wet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not like I chose this particular nappy as a size 1 option for my daughter and a huge packet through I was not impressed with the amount of times they leaked through. Poos and wees they just weren't cutting it and left my girl red and rashy. My mum then bought these for me later on and I asked her to return even though they had made the nappy better quality and a leak proof lining at the back.

Or Even just it’s used for during feed. the nappy itself is cottony soft and it has cute disney design. Unfortunately that where it stops. There are other better quality nappy for cheaper price than this one.
