Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great scent, soft, shiny hair but no volume I was looking for a multi-purpose product to replace my current mask/conditioner which has a lot of silicones. This product has no silicones, claims to be 98% natural and is multi-purpose. It smells absolutely divine and I really wanted it to work. It definitely made my hair soft, smooth and shiny but it also failed to provide any volume and took away the natural volume in my hair. I really enjoyed using it so I was disappointed that it won’t be my new go-to hair product. I love the tropical scent and it comes in a huge tub. I will probably try the other variants but it is so rich that I think they will all weigh my hair down. I have been using it sparingly as a leave in and it makes a great in-shower body moisturiser. The product does not claim to provide volume and it does work to repair hair so it does what it claims, it’s just that my hair is fine and gets weighed down easily. Great product, just not for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A nice change for garnier I receieved this product along with the matching shampoo and conditioner. I was excited to try it as I am currently pregnant and my hair is horrible, really dry and dull. I used garnier fructis products as a child and I was impressed they had changed their products to be free of parabens and colors and include more natural oils. I firstly used the hair food as a conditioner I thought it was going to be really thick and hard to wash out but I was quite impressed by the texture of it. It washed out easily and didn't leave my hair feeling heavy after it dried. I also tried it as a mask leaving it on for a few minutes. I really enjoyed the smell of it, infact when I first opened the postal parcel it smelt amazing! I could not wait to try it. What I liked best about the smell is that it didn't have the typical garnier fructis smells like the old versions did, and the shampoo and conditoner in this range had that smell which I don't like. Whilst parts of this product I did enjoy I didn't find it made any difference to my hair, perhaps because it's just dry and not damaged or also because I don't usually wash my hair enough nor did I have a long enough chance to trial it. I'll continue to use it until it runs out though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells nice but failed to repair Having quite dry hair through some serious dietry changes over the past 12 months, I am constantly on the look out to discover some magical products to help repair my hair until I can repair it through my diet. I was really excited to be selected for this trial, as it also contained a 3 in 1 hair repair product which could be used as either a conditioner post shampoo, a leave in conditioner, or a hair mask. I chose to use this, following a hair wash with the shampoo and conditioner; which both smelt amazing and felt beautiful in my hair, the conditioner was also a nice thick consistency which I really got more for less there. Post wash, my hair was feeling lovely and light, and once I had towel dried it I used the 3 in 1 product as a leave in conditioner and this too smelt great and felt nice in my hair but unfortunately once dry, my hair was stull unfortunately dry. Maybe this product would be better for someone with less dry ends, because I still found I needed to use alternate products with it, but hopefully with continual use my hair will love it.

That was also the reason the reason why I purchased this product and after every use my hair have the same deeelliicciiiooouuusss fragrance to, unless/until I put another layer of hair styling product. But unfortunately fragrance is all I have to say about this in terms of plus points. While it has right kind of texture and applies easily, it either ends up doing nothing or bit too much. Here is how all my various experiments with this product has worked out so far - Apply on dry hair (yup impatient me couldn't just wait till next wash)- feels smooth for two minutes but then get absorbed or dry up - in any case hair goes back to feeling dry with bit of weight. Apply as conditioner - alright result but not as effective as much usual conditioner. Leave in - nopes, not doing that again, too heavy for that. Hair mask as directed but I kept it for 5 minutes vs as advised for 1 minute - initially I was impressed but that oohh la la smoothness barely lasted for half day before the dryness returned. Hair mask - as before wash an with hot towel treatment - after the wash and using my usual conditioner this one actually showed good results but none of that delicious fragrance was left :/ So over all, I am going to use it up as hair mask with hot towel treatment but don't think will be buying it again...which is sad cause I'm really going to miss the tropical smell of it.

I didn't have too much of a result on my hair. I felt like this was just a coating over the top of my hair and wasn't really doing any of the hard work from within. Just an outter coating to "feel" good and "smell" good. I have reverted back to Salon hair products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not repair my hair This product can be used as a conditioner, hair mask and leave in treatment. I only used it as a conditioner and hair mask. I liked how the product was paraben and silicone free. The smell of this product is quite heavily fragranced, lingers on you throughout the day and the next day as well. I do not think it smells like a papaya and smelt rather artificial/sweet. It would be great if the fragrance of the product was turned down a little or not used at all! When first applied, it made my hair feel soft and hydrated. It claims to leave the hair more strong and healthy. However, after washing the conditioner off, a lot of my hair fell off when compared to other conditioners. When my hair was air dried it no longer felt the same. My hair felt felt quite dry and brittle. Also my hair looked extremely frizzy and hair was sticking out of random places. It definitely did not repair my hair! The packaging comes in a big tub, which is easily to unscrew and use. The product does not leak out from the sides which is a plus! The texture of the conditioner is quite thick, so only a little is needed on the hair or else it will weigh the hair down. I will not be repurchasing this product as it did not help or repair my hair after a using it for a few weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same. I used to use this product regularly, as it was pretty much the only thing that could tame my long curly hair. When you changed the formula, it made my hair dry and straw-like, no longer making my hair soft and smooth. Really don't know why you changed it. It was better the way it was. Will no longer be buying this product.
