My main love is that the palette features both matte and metallic colours because this gives me the resources to create an amazing look within one palette. The eyeshadow applies super easily and stays on for ages! Would highly recommend!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was love at first sight when I saw this was coming soon in stores. I was soooo excited to get my hands on this bad boy when it finally hit the shelves near me! I am loving those burgundy, maroon smokey eyes at the moment and this gorgeous palette came out at just the right time. I love the sleek packaging design and the smooth plastic cover. \n\nWhat I love about this palette as well as the burgundy shades is that is has a highlighting colour as well as a deep brown for some smokey/crease action- saving the need to use multiple products. \nWhen I first applied the shades I really loaded my brush up, expecting it to be like most other cheaper eyeshadow palettes, but to my surprise the shades were actually really pigmented. Another win!\nThe fallout was no worse than any other palette Ive tried.\nI also noticed on the back of the palette they have put all combinations you can create with the palette with two, three, and four different shades as well as where to put them on your lid. I find this really helpful as well as offering some options you may not have considered.\n\nPros:\n*Shades varying from light to dark with a mixture of matte, and shimmer\n*Sleek, matte, palette\n*Affordable\n*Crease-proof formulas\n*highly pigmented colours\n*Having a highlighting shade as well as a deep brown saves the need for other products\n*Cheat sheet on the back for help with creating new looks\n*Fallout is pretty much the same as any other shadows\n\nCons\n*Not a fan of the brush- I prefer to use my own makeup brushes as I find the brushes that come with palettes are too small.\n\nOverall\nI am still pretty happy with this palette. I find it easy to use, there's a nice variety of shades, and it is easy to blend and layer to create your own look.\nI love how this palette looks in my makeup collection, I think it is one of the prettiest I own. I cannot fault the palette at all and I am so glad Maybelline has brought it out, they have really set the bar high.

I have been living off the higher brands (Two Faced, Kat Von D ect..) for the last 3 years and I feel a bit silly now for having paid so much when this is just as good. The colour blends well, its pigmented..and on a personal note this suits my skin tone really nicely (light/olive skin, green eyes). I'd be recommending this to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was excited to play with my new Burgundy palette, I'm a brunette with dark brown eyes and the colours in this palette are just perfect especially toned to go with the pretty pinks and browns for autumn fashion.The palette is a great price and the size is perfect to throw in any makeup or travel bag. I like the clear lid that allows me to see the gorgeous colours. I also love the option of matte and metallics to give me the choice of a soft daytime look that I can ramp up into evening smokey eye quickly with one palette, I also applied the metallic over the matte to give a real depth of colour. There was surprising substance to the pigment that you would not expect from a palette in this price range, it went on easily, felt high end and stayed put for the occasion. I used my own applicators and also applied primer on my lids before the shadow to give the best possible result - I got more than I expected with this purchase and thats a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was waiting to get my hands on a burgundy palette for long and when finally got it I was over the moon.\nMaybelline Burgundy palette has 12 shades and most of them are shimmer with the couple of matte shades which are enough of create multiple looks.\nThe colours are quite pigmented and easy to blend. I like the palette alot since I could create the look from day to night. \nMy eyeshadow stayed on for whole day without looking messy. Overall its a nice palette for the price.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Formula I’m not usually one to purchase the lower end brands of makeup, but after a friend recommended this palette I had to see for myself. I am not disappointed! It is absolutely amazing! The colours are so beautiful, and the formula is very creamy and pigmented. The shadow has very minimal fallout and is extremely buildable. The size is compact but the pans still hold a great amount of product. It’s perfect for having in your purse or when you’re going away for a weekend. I highly recommend giving this palette a chance because it will not disappoint! Very excited to see more products like this form Maybelline!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This palette is amazing! The glitters are buttery and very intense, and the matte colours blend beautifully. It is so good, it is comparable to high end stuff like Too Faced and UD. In fact, I was going to be buying a name-brand burgundy palette but getting this absolutely changed my mind, it is that great. The only downsides are the plastic packaging which does not look very luxe, and the brush/applicator combo that comes with the palette which is, understandably, awful. Otherwise, this is a must-have for anybody seriously into makeup, or anybody who enjoys a good dose of sparkle. I have already been recommending this to others and I will definitely get it again when I hit pan!

I would definitely recommend this palette to my friends and family. It is one of the best drugstore branded palettes I have used in a long time.

I also used the light shades as highligher and they look great. The pigments are great and colours show very well. They stay long on eye lid over primer. It’s easy to blend and not too glittery. Ranging from rich dark burgundys to your soft gold and cream colours. The application was very easy and stayed on all night without re-applying. I would highly recommend this eyeshadow palette if you are keen to trial colours outside of your normal colour selection.\n\n

There are only 2 matte shades in this palette light brown, and the darker brown, rest others are shimmery shades. The colors are versatile and very pigmented. I love the combination of champagnes, golds, bronzes and burgundies. The instruction on the back of the packaging is very handy and gives an idea to pair the colours to achieve the cool everyday look. The colour stays all day long even without the primer\nThe palette comes in a right size and travel-friendly. it is a quiet study palette and see through, comes with an eyeshadow brush.\nOverall, a good palette. The shades are pretty, the price is good, the formula is good, the lasting power is good. \n\n

The shadows were so pigmented you barely had to use any product. Very smooth and blendable, would highly recommend. Well done Maybelline.

Each eyeshadow pan is a decent size and they are smooth and buttery. I didnt really like the applicator that it came with i just packed it on with my fingers. Will recommend to others and re purchase for sure!

This burgundy pallette looks really stylish,  I love the colour of the case and also the selection of eye colours. There is a good mix of day and night colours and the glitter shades are so pretty.  It is very easy to apply and holds really well.

The shade selection makes this palette extremely versatile with a couple of matte shades complemented by an assortment of warm shimmery shadows. The colours in the palette are very on trend right now and this palette makes it easy to make looks for night or day. The shadows are soft and creamy making them extremely blendable. I wore these shadows both to work and during evenings out; they are long lasting with minimal fallout. The palette has only a minimal scent to it making it perfect for those who are bothered by artificially scented palettes. One of the best drug store palettes I have tried. Can't fault it.

This palette is 12 gorgeous warm shades, 2 matte and 10 glitter. The pigment is great with minimal fallout, even on the glitter shades. The colours all work great together and are easily bendable, but also different enough to create several unique looks. The stay power isn't the best I've ever had, but at this price point, it certainly holds its own and if you're using a good eye primer (e.g. Urban Decay Potion) they certainly hold up better! \n\nOnly criticism is that there are only 2 matte shades in 12, although there are definitely other palettes that can make up for that. Great value for money at this price point for a suite of warm shades! Definitely worth a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the colours in the Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette.  They are all really rich and gorgeous.  I usually stick to more shimmery eyeshadow but I found myself drawn equally to the matte colours.  I followed the application instructions given to me by Beauty Crew and I also tried some of the examples on the back of the palette. It was very easy to apply and blend.\nI found the eyeshadow easy to apply and I could build up the colour intensity to the level that I desired.  The eyeshadow lasted all day and I was impressed by its staying power, especially on warm summer days.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first thing I noticed about the Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette is all the beautiful shades. Lots of shimmery/glittery burgundy and warm neutral shades. The shades are my kind of colours.\n \nThe palette comes in a plastic case with a clear lid so you can see all the beautiful shades, and include a brush applicator. The palette is small enough palette to take travelling if needed but has good range of shadows for variety.The palettes comes with some information on the back that is really useful if you are looking for ideas on how to apply the shades to create pretty eye looks. \n \nThe palette is consists of ten shimmer/metallic shades (golds, browns, creams, burgundy, cranberry and neutrals) and two matte shades (a light brown and a darker brown). The matte shades are soft, pigmented and blend really when applying and a great colour for any eye makeup look. The shimmers are also really pigmented.With the shimmers, if I am wearing them at night I prefer to use a primer underneath to get a really long lasting more pigmented look. All the shades are easy to apply, pigmented, buildable for a more intense eye look and last all day. \n \nThe only thing I would like to see more of is some more matte shades in this palette. I think four matte shades would make this is already good palette even better. \n \nAs this palette is from Maybelline it is affordable, and the shade range looks very similar to some more expensive palettes on the market. \n \nOverall I am loving the shades in this palette and how they apply and it’s a great palette that I can use for day and night looks.\n

Due to the range of colours, you could use this palette for both day and night, and easily create a number of different looks from a neutral look or a more dramatic look. The palette comes in a maroon coloured flip case. The applicator has an eyeshadow brush on one end and a lip brush type brush on the other end good for blending.\nI’m quite inexperienced applying eye shadow however, this palette made it a no fuss application. I followed Beauty crews advice of applying the product which was to; \nApply thelightest shade for a base – I applied this all over my eye lid with the spongeapplicator side \nUse a deeper shade to the eye crease and outer corners- For me, this was a bit of a challenge.I used the tip of the sponge applicator for this part and used the lip brush like end to blend the colour in. \nUse a champagne/gold shimmer to highlight the brow bone- I used the sponge applicator for this step \nSmudge bold colour along the lower lash line- I used the darkest shade for this step using the tip of the sponge applicator.\n\nI was very thankful for this application advice due to my lack of eye shadow application experience. After carefully following these steps, I was very pleasantly surprised with the result. My eye area was defined, yet not over the top. The shimmer in addition wasn’t over the top and made my eye area shine beautifully,perfect for a summer look. The eye shadow applied effortlessly and the deep pigmented colour lasted well into the day. \nOn the back of the palette, there is directions on what colours work together best and where to apply them depending on how many colours you want to use eg; quads,trios or duos. This is very handy to help guide you to try out different looks and get the most out of the product. The eye shadows are strategically placed to try out these looks with ease. This is especially handy for novices like me!\nI’m a big fan and although Im not much of an eye shadow wearer, I would definitely consider repurchasing this product due to its quality, colour variety and ease of use. \nThank you Maybelline and Beauty Crew for the opportunity to try this excellent product.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have heard rumblings online that this palette is a dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette, and while each pan is not an exact duplicate, this is in the same colour family and theme as the Modern Renaissance or Kylie Kyshadow Burgundy Palette or Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette. \nThe absolute best thing about this palette is the diagrams on the back! This is the first time that I have learnt how to colour group shades and placement on the eye from packaging. Thirteen looks are shown, using either two, three, or four pan colour combinations with diagrams for each shade and it's placement. I wish all palettes same with the same information. \nThe colours are decently pigmented, with both matt and shimmer pans. It is a little disappointing that from 12, only 2 are matt, as I would have preferred a bit more of a balanced ratio. Even though most are not matt, the variety of glimmer, to shimmer, to sheen shades are warm based and there is such a pretty delicate range. Fortunately there are no pans with chunky glitter as this can be unkind to aging eyelids. \nThe colours all blend well and come with a double ended makeup applicator brush, which is is the only thing that lets the palette down (mind you that I'm yet to see a palette that included a brush that I have been happy with).\n\nI would recommend this palette to any makeup lover, from the novice to the advanced. I'm so impressed by the diagrams on the reverse which makes this perfect for a beginner, while the on trend warm burgundies appeal to those with more advanced techniques who will be able to create some stunning looks. \n

It is so smooth, pigmented and you can do so many eye looks with the colour range! I created various eye looks using this palette, i used it for day and night! The finished look overall looked smooth and dream like. I am so happy to welcome this into my makeup family

They last a good amount of time without an eye primer, even longer with.\nI did find that the glittery shades to apply best when you use your finger, the rest of the shades blend together beautifully

Super surprised at the quality of the palette overall, the variety of shades all complemented each other beautifully and the majority of shades were shimmers which gave plenty of different distinct looks to choose from. On the back of the palette, there were useful diagrams of the shades which worked best together in quads, trios and duos. The only downside was that the packaging felt a little flimsy, but for a palette at this price, it already blew expectations!

Was especially excited to test this one over the festive season as there are pleanty of shimmery shades with everything from glittery golds to bold burgundy/reds. Packaging is basic  and the double ended applicator brush/sponge is average however the shadows themselves are great quality for the price. \nOnly downside was that one shades popped out and cracked so had to discard it  (lucky not my favourite shade anyway)\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I dont normally wear eyeshadow much anymore but after trying this burgundy palette i am in love with eyeshadow all over again.  My husband even commented how nice it looked.  The neutral tones with a pop of colour made my eyes brighter. The pigment of the eyeshadow is smooth and lasted all day. So many shades to choose from was so much fun mixing and matching or using their suggestions on the back of the palette to create the look. Was very happy with rhis product and highly recommend

The colours are so vibrant and the texture of most of them is great.\nThe glitter ones have a bit of trouble sticking to the eye lid. I also wasn't a fan of the colour combinations suggested on the back but that's a minor detail.\nThese colours really being out my eyes and I've received many compliments! \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great palette for a fresh, neutral day look or a deep shimmering night look, or anything in between. The colours are great with beautiful long last pigments, both matte and shimmer. A little goes a long way and I particularly love how long lasting it is, my eyes look freshly applied at the end of a very long day. Amazing value!\n
