Rated 3 out of 5 by from Herbal Essence Coconut milk conditioner I am a little disappointed with the hydrating coconut duo shampoo and conditioner, they aren't quite as nourishing as I had expected them to be. Like it's matching shampoo, the conditioner comes in a 400ml brown bottle with a easy to use flip top lid. It is thick and creamy in texture, with a beautiful fragrance that is almost tropical; the scent is a floral coconut scent that is just lovely. I find the scent of the duo to be very pleasant, it lingers subtly for a considerable amount of time after the shower has finished. The conditioner has good 'slip' and is easy to work through the lengths of the hair. As I said in my previous review, when using this duo together the shampoo took quite a lot of moisture out of my hair so this conditioner needed to work extra hard to put the hydration back in, but on it's own it isn't enough. When I used the conditioner on it's own without any leave in conditioner afterwards my hair was quite difficult to brush; tangles, knots, dry ends. The shampoo takes quite a lot out of my hair and unfortunately the conditioner isn't moisturising enough to counteract the dryness. I found this easy to wash out without leaving any residue or film in my hair. I did have to use a lot more than I normally would as the shampoo left my hair feeling quite dry, I used at least 2x 50c coin through the lengths trying to coat some moisture back into my hair, left it for a few minutes each time so it had time to penetrate but it isn't enough. A leave in cream was a absaloute must for me when using this duo; when I used my argan oil afterwards the results were much better, it helped counteract the dryness and add moisture back into my thirsty hair. Whilst I love the fragrance of this duo I didn't enjoy using this products as much as I had hoped I would, the shampoo strips quite a lot of moisture out that the conditioner just can't replace on it's own, they were not as moisturising as I had hoped =(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells nice, but pretty averags It's difficult to write a lot about a conditioner. First of all, the packaging of the bottles was quite pleasing, it looks good - simple but effective - and is easy to use in terms of shape, and has a flip too cap. I appreciate bottles with the cap on the top as this prevents leakages of the product The conditioner itself had a very refreshing, coconut fragrance which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, that was about it. I felt like the conditioner just wasn't conditioning enough after using the corresponding shampoo which was very drying. I have not tried the conditioner with a less oil-stripping shampoo, but assume that it can't be that bad as it is pH balanced, has a nice short list of ingredients which include coconut water and aloe vera. There are no parablens ir colourants, and the product is gluten free. Besides the fragrance, which is pleasing to see listed AFTER coconut water and aloe Vera, towards the end of the list, the product has no irritants to skin. I think that this conditioner is okay, as long as it is not used with a drying shampoo, such as the Herbal Essences bio:renew Coconut Milk Shampoo. It's not deep conditioning, but does the job. Nonetheless, I would still as always use a hydrating and nourishing mask and serum afterwards.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me I have been using this conditioner with the accompanying ahampoo.<br />The packaging is pretty similar to the shampoo which says 0% parabens and at the back in very tiny writing it says suitable for colour treated hair It smells nice with very subtle coconut fragrance, love the consistency which is not too thick nor very runny, just perfect After rinsing shampoo I apply it to my ends in the shower and keep it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it off. Soon after rinsing my hair felt great but after the hair is dry they were out of control. It just didn't feel good, the next day hair felt a bit better but I wouldn't say I experienced extreme hydration after using the shampoo and conditioner duo. I like the packaging and fragrance combination but didn't really enjoyed using the actual product. Would just use it occasionally but wouldn't be re-purchasing it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating Softness I was really excited to trial a coconut scented herbal conditioner, just the sound of it is so exotic! I didn't get to trial this conditioner for very long and have only been able to use it 3 times due to it being posted to an old address so I can't speak to any longer term uses The packaging of the conditioner is very pretty and it comes in a conventional bottle. The scent itself takes me to a tropical beach each time I open the bottle. The scent isn't overpowering for me and I love the fresh coconut scent After using the conditioner 3 times I've felt that my hair is softer and appears to be well hydrated. I have found that I have used a little more conditioner than I usually do, but it isn't significantly more I can't say that my hair looks more radiant or that my hair appears different in any other way but this may just be due to not being able to use the product for very long. Overall I have enjoyed using this conditioner so far and love the scent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells delicious & is nice to use The conditioner is similar to the shampoo in regards to scent (smells like a coconut smoothie) and has the regular 'conditioner' cream consistency. I do find the conditioner hydrating, but don't think it is nourishing enough for my hair in the long run (I have chemically treated hair which is quite dry at the ends). It doesn't weigh down my fine hair luckily, but I am always careful to not apply conditioner to my scalp or roots. The ingredients are similar to the shampoo - the list includes coconut extract, corn silk extract, aloe vera and silicone. I think silicone is great as it coats the hair and protects it, saving it from breakage (especially when brushing your hair) but it could be problematic before a colour service. I think the ingredients could be a little more nourishing and repairing. Again, I don't quite understand what makes this line sustainable as opposed to their other products. I would like to see the brand do more in this area and give more information to the consumer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice product at first look, but not for me I was fortunate to try the shampoo and conditioner together as part of the Trial Team. I was very excited to try this product, as I am keen on using products that are as natural as possible. The packaging looked really nice, and the label was quite detailed as to what the product was, and what it was free from. The smell was very subtle – the coconut was not overpowering which I appreciated. The conditioner came out thick, but not too thick, and I was able to use a 50c piece size for my shoulder-blade length hair. It felt quite nice on, it didn’t disappear into my hair quickly which often happens with natural products I find. After shampooing and conditioning, my hair was fresh and clean. It had quite a bit of bounce, but I did find it wasn’t very hydrating and my hair quickly became dry and dull looking. My hair lost its shine and I felt I needed to do a deep condition to get it shiny and hydrated again. My hair is combination, and I certainly wouldn’t normally consider it to be dry – I sway more to the oily side. Unfortunately, for this reason, I won’t be repurchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells great - not overly hydrating Thanks beautyheaven for the chance to try this I never skip conditioning my hair since my ends are quite dry and dehydrated and straw-like. I absolutely LOVE the coconut scent of this conditioner and the way it stays in my hair all day. However, I did not find the formula overly hydrating for dry hair as it claims It works exactly like any old drugstore conditioner - I would recommend it to those with normal (not too dry) hair that does not require special attention. It spreads in the hair well and rinses out nicely, but I do not find any lasting effects after my hair has dried. It does not feel softer or more hydrated and I still have to go in with my hair oil afterwards Overall, I am not a fan of this range, did not find it effective at what it claims to do and would not purchase this or recommend it to those needing hydration for their hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A really nice conditioner I paired this conditioner with the matching shampoo for best results. As I dye my hair blonde I use the Fudge purple shampoo every other was, then used the other shampoo as I prefer to double wash. This can leave my hair feeling pretty dry though and was pleasantly surprised by the conditioners ability to balance this out!<br />Firstly it smells really nice- florally and coconutty like the shampoo and is fairly thick on consistency.<br />I smoothed it through the mid-ends of my hair and left it in for about 3 minutes.<br />Upon rinsing h hair felt instantly smoother. I also noticed that when I dried it, it was a little less frizzy than normal but didn't feel weighed down or greasy.<br />However like the shampoo, I'm not sure it's quite enough for hair like mine that is very long and very damaged from bleaching. That being said, if you have slightly damaged and dry hair this is a great affordable option for everyday use!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok The Herbal Essences bio:renew Coconut Water Conditioner with bio renew comes in a large, easy to use flip top container. With ingredients like aloe, coconut milk, and sea kelp I'd expect an earthy natural fragrance but none of these scents come through. I actually hate the smell of the conditioner, it's synthetic and much stronger than the shampoo. Luckily the fragrance doesn't linger after I've dried my hair. The conditioner does make my hair soft without weighing my hair down. It's not overly hydrating but my hair sits nice after using it and holds volume better without neing a mess. I had to stop using the shampoo after one use as my scalp reacted but I've continued using the conditioner as it's only applied to my ends. If the synthetic fragrances were removed Id consider purchasing and alternate with my preferred conditioner. I feel like the ingedients used for marketing the product would be detectable if there was a beneficial quantity in the formula. Being unable to detect them makes be untrusting of the product claims.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for short term but not long term use Initially it seems great , leaving my hair looking like I just went to the salon and had a good wash. I used it for three good weeks and now it’s not the same. My hair is so bad now. I had no idea what it was and then I remembered why my sister gave it to me. My sister had the same exact problem. She gave it to me. Worked for me at first but now I have the same problem as her! I will definitely not recommend this product at all! Buy it at your own risk! When I comb my hair nowadays it just comes off! Never had this problem until I started using this! I repeat! Do not buy this at all!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best, but a nice scent Overall I was disappointed with the results from this shampoo and conditioner combo. I can't be sure if the shampoo dried my hair out or the conditioner wasn't hydrating enough - either way it left my hair feeling a little bit dry and with a few more frizzy bits than usual. The conditioner itself has a lovely coconut fragrance that is not too strong or overpowering. The consistency of the conditioner is good, and it was easy to apply to my hair. However, it did seem to thin out quite a bit in my hair so I felt I had to use a bit extra. The bottle looks nice, however I prefer bottles that can be stored upside down when the product is almost finished. I liked that this was a natural product, but I just felt it could have been more effective in hydrating and conditioning my hair. Overall, I probably would not use it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not hydrating enough for me After using and really enjoying the Herbal Essenses Coconut Water Shampoo and loving it, I had high hopes for its companion conditioner. Unfortunately though it did not live up to my high expectations I have thick, wavy, dry and colour treated hair and a dry, sensitive scalp - quite the plethora of issues to address, I know - and sadly this conditioner did not cut it. After applying to my tresses, leaving for a few minutes and rinsing, my hair felt dry, tangled and uncomfortable. And then once my curls dried they were a mass of frizz - not quite what I was hoping for I need to use an intensely nourishing conditioner in my hair in order to address all of my concerns at once and this conditioner just was not up to the task It would be great for thin, straight hair in good condition, or for younger people, but just not lush enough for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A heavy Conditioner with a fresh lasting Coconut scent After trialing the shampoo in the Hydrate Coconut milk range I had high hopes for the Conditioner in the range .<br />Herbal Essence bio:renew Hydrate Coconut milk felt rather heavy and waxy for my hair.<br />I have color treated hair , and often heat style my hair. I am always on the look out for some luxury hydration.<br />I used the Conditioner as part of the range including the shampoo and felt that my hair was not being penetrated by this conditioner.<br />I felt my hair was coated in the conditioner with little hydration benefits.<br />My hair was difficult to rinse after application and look longer to wash due to this issue.<br />I found my hair was harder to style after using the range, and harder to comb.<br />During styling my hair felt over dry and not nourished and renewed as i expected to get from this conditioner .<br />Whilst I appreciate the use of Aloe and sea kelp in the product, I didn't feel any extra benefits of the ingredients.<br />Long term I don't feel I will continue with this range as I am concerned my hair will become brittle and more prone to snapping during styling.

You need to use a lot to make your hair feel smooth, and it does not give you glossy, "free-flowing" hair. It does not say what the "Bio:Renew Antioxidants" are. Overall, not worth the price you pay.
