Absorbed well and left my skin feeling softer without any residue. There was a slight improvement to my skin but the dark spots remained. Overall it conditioned my skin slightly but no magic effect that would make me go out and buy it again.

More importantly, though, the pump doesn't work - you are supposed to use two pumps of this and the dropper just doesn't pick up any of the product. I have to shake it vigorously into my hand to get anything out of the jar and as this comes in a glass bottle most of it is going to go to waste. It is also over fragranced. Going back to The Ordinary when this one runs out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was not wowed by this product. I have received Olay Niacinamide Super Serum to trial via Beautyheaven and I was really excited as my skin has some discolourations. The serum comes in nice, glass bottle with an applicator that quite frankly I couldn’t work out how to use! After few fails I managed to dispense perfect amount for single use. The consistency is quite runny, no smell and it is easy to apply evenly. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave sticking residue on the skin. I was hoping this serum could help out in making them look less visible. In the last 2+ weeks of using it religiously I can say the discolourations got any better. I must admit that my skin overall looks less red around my nose and perhaps a little brighter overall. I am not wowed by the product but quite frankly I don’t feel the trial was long enough to give this serum a good go. I’ll continue using it to see if there is any more significant change.

I really liked the pearl-like effect the bottle had and this was nice as most bottles are plain colours. However, when i went to open the bottle, i did not like how the the top (the part that goes up and down) always opens when you open up the product. I found this to be quite annoying. Once I started to use the product, I found that the product was not what I expected. I found it to be quite drying on my skin and did not see any visible improvement - which I was hoping there would be. I had to use more than I would normally use when using previous serum product and the results were not there The product does not have any fragrance which is good and will not interfere with other products you are using. I have to say I was disappointed with this product - which is a shame !!!

Still hoping to see a difference, but at this point not contemplating buying more.

Sadly, after 2 months of using it has not reduced my eye bags. AT ALL! The quest continues!
