Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like this foundation. It is really light and easy to blend. Can build it up for a medium coverage without being cakey. It leaves my skin nice and matte and doesn't look oily. The colour I picked match my skin tone really well. The only downside is that it doesn't have a pump so it can get messy and you can pour out too much. Would repurchase this foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the "Fit Me" range and this foundation is a great example of a good value foundation. I was really impressed with the wife range of shades. The bottle is sturdy and looks great. I found the foundation was easy to apply, didn't irritate my sensitive skin, and gave good coverage. The effect was smooth and lovely. My only issue is that I did have to reapply (although with a good primer I imagine it would stay longer) and that it did stick slightly to my dry skin. For a basic foundation with a lovely soft matte finish, it's a great option, and you're sure to find the perfect match for your skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I tested the Maybelline Fit Me  foundation using the Classic Ivory 120 shade, I have normal skin.\nThe colour tone matched my skin tone perfectly. It was very smooth to apply, non greasy and provided light all day coverage. It did not cake, did not crease, was not runny or drying but of the perfect consistency which suited me.\nI like the glass bottle packaging as that gives it a more high end look to the cheaper plastic dispensers some other foundations are packaged in.\nThe price point is spot on for everyday use. The  natural light coverage that Fit Me provides makes it suitable for everyday long wear use .\n I would definitely purchase and use this foundation again.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I thoroughly enjoyed trialing the Maybelline Fit Me Matte +Poreless foundation. It provides good, light-medium coverage and can easily be built up. I applied this with both a brush and beauty blender and found that both methods work well, although the beauty blender gives a more natural finish. The foundation wears well throughout the day and keeps me relatively shine free.\nThe product has a very faint alcohol scent, is quite liquid-y, and comes in a glass bottle with a screw top cap. I would have preferred a squeeze tube or pump dispenser so it is easier to disperse and travel with- hopefully Maybelline will fix this in the future.  The shade range is extensive (there are 40!) and shade 125 is a great match for my light/medium skin.  Highly recommend and look forward to using it during the warmer months, when my skin is at its oiliest.\n

I think the shade range could definitely be better but overall a nice foundation.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This foundation apples easily and smoothly on my skin. It is easy to blend with my fingers or a sponge. After applying my skin felt  and looked smooth and had a great matte finish. I noticed my pores seemed less noticeable too. It gave me a good, even coverage that was easy to build up without it looking caked on. It has a more natural look. The colour shade was perfect for me. The only thing i don't like about this foundation is the smell. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a matte foundation that is easy to apply.

Yet, it provides great long lasting coverage and gives a natural flawless look. The foundation has a satin soft finish and is very easy to apply. I used colour 332 and it matched perfectly to my skin, even giving it a bit of a natural sunkissed look - which I loved.\nIt is also very affordable. I will certainly be purchasing it and recommending it to friends.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to receive this as part of the Beauty Crew trial. I have combination skin and this liquid foundation provides great medium to full coverage. It lasted all day on my skin with some wear only noticeable on my oily nose in which I frequently needed to wipe my nose due to allergies but the wear was only noticeable upon close inspection. Thlugh described as matte finish, it doesn't dry completely matte which is how I prefer it! Not quite dewy either but somewhere in between so the finish looks natural and I found no powder so needed to set it. There is no smell to the foundation which applies evenly. The large opening of the bottle is my one gripe with the product as lots of product can come out without your meaning to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As always, I was pretty excited to trial a faoundation. As an owner of a combination type of skin I was very eager to test out new Maybelline Matte and Poreless. I did buy it in the past and I loved how it performer but unfortunately I couldn't find the right match for my skin tone. I did buy one ligher and one darker shade but they were too pink for my anyhow. However, when I found out there were new shades being released in Australia, I got pretty excited. I matched myself to 128 Warm Nude and it is  a perfect shade for me for spring and summer. It is on the yellow side of the spectrum and yellow looks always better on my skin than pink. I must say it is very impressive to be able to choose from 40 shades, especially taking into account that this is "only" a drugstore foundation. Good job Maybelline. \nFit me Matte and Poreless is a gorgeous foundation. It applies easily, I have no problem when I use fingers, but it looks immaculate on the face when it is applied with a beautyblender. It sinks into the skin and makes it look smooth and soft. The foundation is extremely lightweight and can't be possibly felt on the skin. The only con when it comes to application is the fact that it might sit in the eyebrows if we are not careful enough, but this is not a huge drawback for me. The finish is satin and soft, I would call it a modern matte, because it is not the flat matte finish some might think it is. It makes the skin look smooth, kind of poreless ( even better if you use a primer) and satin. I am a fan of the finish. Also, the coverage is enough for me. It is medium  but can be buildable. I doen't look cakey. It does however Begin to shine after a few hours, but my combination skin is like that with each and every foundation I use. Fit Me Matte and Porless is rather long lasting, I put it to the test when I went for a run and in my opinion the foundation is pretty good. \nAll in all, the pros:\n- amazing 40 shades available,\n- nice satin finish\n- buildable coverage\n- lightweight on the skin\n- does not dry out the skin\n- makes the skin look soft, natural and healthy\neasily available\n\nCons:\n- the packaging, a glass bottle without a pump, not travel friendly, can be messy\n- might sit in the eyebrows, might accentuate dry flaky skin .\n\nI would recommed the foundation to those with combination skin, but I believe those with normal and even dry would like it too. \n

Firstly, the coverage is great and also buildable without looking cakey on the skin. The colours do not seem to oxidise throughout the day, and they wear very well without going too patchy. The product is mattifying so powder is not needed, but using powder builds the coverage even more and makes the finish look flawless. \nThe only criticism I would have for this product is the packaging, which lacks a pump and becomes very messy when trying to get the foundation out of the bottle. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found this foundation very easy to blend especially when used over a serum, it lasted all day and unless my skin was particularly dry that day didn’t go cakey. The only down side I found is that it doesn’t come in a pump bottle, and being a neutral skin tone it can be hard to find a shade that’s not to orange or too cool. Apart from that it’s a good drug store foundation and doesn’t dry your skin out, which is a bonus for a mattyfying foundation

The only thing I didn't like was the bottle, its heavy- a pump would waste less product. Recommend this product and buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been using this foundation for the past few weeks, I chose my colour using the online colour match tool which helped me choose a perfect match for my skin tone! \n \nWhat I liked about this product: Long lasting, light weight, easy to blend, buildable. \n \nWhat I didn’t like about this product: coverage (I prefer ahigh coverage foundation and the bottle (there is no pump, so using this is alittle messy and wasteful). \n \nThis was my first time using a matte foundation, I had always expected a matte foundation to make my skin look dry throughout the day, thankfully this wasn’t the case and did not dry my combination skin out. I ended up choosing to mix the foundation with a higher coverage foundation, I preferred the look of the product this way. I am likely to not purchase this product again, however I would consider if the bottle had a pump and was easier to manage.\n

Also did not really cover my pores and they aren't particularly large to start with. Colour was seamless to blend tho. I would buy this foundation again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love using this Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. My skin has been loving this. This matte foundation really helps with my oily skin. Matte skin all day and reduce the pore appearance.  The color match my skin tone. It is quite a watery consistency so u can adjust the layer of thickness/ coverage depends on how you like it. The bottle size it's a bit smaller side. What I do not like the most it's I prefer to have it as a pump bottle instead of pouring it out to use as it is harder to control the amount I need to use. Overall I think this will suits the coming summer weather to control the shine on oily skin.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline's FITME Matte & Poreless Foundation is definitely a foundation I would purchase again. \nThe formula itself doesn't have the same full coverage and I find that Maybelline's products normally have, it is a lot more fluid-like and watery. \nIt is great for a natural everyday look when you want to have the low-maintenance appearance with minimal make up, however for a full day out / long day at work / night time event, for me it didn't stand the test.\nWhen wearing to work, I had to use my concealer to cover the bags under my eyes and the pigmentation on my upper lip as I found these problem areas were not covered by the foundation. \n\nThis being said, I do like my weekends where I don't want much on my skin so it was perfect for this, and it is easy to wear with serum, moisturiser, and sun cream underneath. The overall finish of the product is really nice, especially as it's Matte it stops me from looking oily.\nI think everyone should have at least 2 types of foundation - one with a fuller coverage and one that it lighter and more natural.\n

I don't feel as if it clogs your skin but still seems to last throughout the day which is great. The finish is matte, but still gives your skin a slight dewy texture, but not shiny. Overall an amazing foundation and great price!

You can layer up if you would like a heavier cover. \nThe colour does end up fitting your skin colour better a few minutes after application. Initially it looked a little light for my skin colour, but it darkened after a few minutes.\nI don't like the fact there is no pump, but I do like the glass bottle. \n

It provides medium coverage for combination to oily skin such as mine, I chose the 105 Fair Ivory shade to trial. \nOnce applied with a beauty blender I applied powder to set the foundation which I found kept my skin from looking shiny and oily by midday. I found it to be lightweight and easy to apply and blend. \nMy one peeve about this foundation is the packaging as it doesn’t come with a pump bottle, making it easy to over dispense the product.\nOverall would recommend as an affordable pharmacy store foundation. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed using this foundation. I have very temperamental oily skin that can also get very dry and irritable. For this reason, I try to stay away from mattifying products because I feel they are so dry. But this foundation did not dry my face out at all! In fact for the first half of the day my skin stayed matt looking and then the other half of the day my skin looked a little dewy which I liked. The colour was also a perfect match which I was surprised by, since I have extremely fair skin colour that never seems to match properly with other foundations.\n\nOverall the product did as it said it would, it provided a medium coverage that stayed matt most of the day. The colour match was exceptional. The product didn't irritate my skin which was also a very nice surprise. The foundation did last long but my only issue is that the medium coverage stayed on OK (not amazingly). I think if I'm going to wear a foundation all day, I just want to be able to accidently brush my face and not have my foundation come off, or worry about it getting onto my white top (which it did). So that's why this product got 4 stars instead of 5.  \n

I think it may be my new go to for during the day.

It did make my skin look and feel a little Cakey and heavy but once I set it with some powder it was fine the biggest issue I had was that there was no pump to dispense the product. Which my daily foundation has now and it just makes it easier to not waste so much foundation.

The colour is a reasonable match, I went in store and tried some other colours from the range and this is the best one, maybe slightly too warm but the others were too pale/pinky. I would just have to make sure to blend it nicely with my neck. \n\nI would prefer a pump bottle, I found I was using more of this foundation than my others. I found the coverage to be lighter than I was expecting, but it's a nice finish. \n\nFor the price it's a good product. I like that there is no smell and it feels nice if you choose to use fingers over brush, but applied better with brush and more evenly. \n\nI had a week where my skin was dryer than usual and I found it didn't work as well and was a bit cakey in some spots, so for normal and oily skin it worked better and was nice. \n\n

I have to say, I was super impressed by the colour match (especially using the online system) - fair/ivory for me was perfect.\n\nI found this foundation worked best when applied using a slightly damp beauty blender (instead of rubbing, I pressed the foundation into my skin).\n\nI gave this four stars because of the price point, colour match and build able coverage:\n\nIt has a thin consistency, which allows you to build the coverage you desire. \n\nIt feels lightweight on your skin (which is what I prefer) with medium coverage, I set the foundation with a little bit of powder under my eyes and was good to go. \n\nEven though it has a matte finish, I found my skin looked dewy and fresh. It went from day to night, I only had to touch up with a little concealer when going from work to drinks. \n\nThis is an affordable everyday foundation, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a product that allows you to build coverage, feels lightweight on the skin, and blurs pores.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been really enjoying using the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless foundation in 220 Natural Beige. The product itself is housed in a nice glass bottle with a plastic black screw top lid. One pretty major (in my opinion) downside to this foundation is that it doesn't come with any sort of pump, just a screw top lid. I find I had trouble getting product out of the bottle which is a little frustrating.\n\nThe foundation itself is quite liquid in consistency making it easy to spread and blend into the skin. The foundation's coverage is medium which you can build to higher coverage if needed. The foundation I have seems to have a strong alcohol smell which I thought was a little interesting. I would've probably liked it to have a subtle fragrance rather than an alcohol smell.\n\nI tried applied the foundation with both a brush and beauty sponge. I found using a sponge helped increase the coverage while using a brush resulted in more natural/sheer coverage. I like this about this foundation as I can make it more natural for everyday but also build coverage up for nights out and special occasions. I also liked that if you did build coverage it didn't look cakey or heavy which can happen with full coverage foundations.\n\nThe foundation did seem to last quite well on my skin with some patchiness after 8 hours of wear. Perhaps a setting spray would have helped increase the lasting power of this foundation. Overall a good everyday foundation but be sure to purchase a screw top pump to make it easier to dispense product out of the bottle.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I trialed the Nude Beige shade of the Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation which was a little dark for my pale winter skin...but I think it will be great for summer.  There are LOTS of shades to choose from though - so you should have no trouble finding a shade that will match.  The foundation blended easily with just my fingers and provided good all-day medium coverage.  There was no caking or drying through the day and my face still looked matte and flawless after 8 hours wear.  I'm not 100% sold on the packaging - I love that it comes in a glass bottle (recyclable) but dispensing the right amount was a little difficult.  Although using with a foundation brush or blender would probably solve this issue and also allow you to build coverage (if needed).  I only like a light/medium coverage so this foundation definitely provided that.  At the price point, I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone wanting a medium coverage, long lasting, matte finish foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this foundation a lot. It’s not too matte that it clings to dry spots and I can get a good 8 hours wear out of it before I start to look too shiny. I’m thankful for once that a foundation oxidises because the shade a have is a hair too pale but once it oxidises it’s a perfect match, it probably oxidises about a shade or 2 darker in my opinion. I don’t like the bottle, I wish it had a pump or a squeeze tube.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been a loyal user of this foundation for YEARS, and I'm so happy that Maybelline have released a bunch of new shades because it isn't easy finding your perfect match when it comes to drugstore foundations. The formula gives me a medium-full coverage finish without it feeling heavy or looking cakey on the skin, and it does a brilliant job at giving me a poreless/flawless complexion. I have oily skin so I always reach for a matte foundation and the lasting power is pretty great on this one! I gave it 4 stars simply because it doesn't have a pump dispenser so it can become quite messy and wasteful. A part from that, I think it's an absolute winner of a foundation and a definite must-buy!
