General Information

Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face Dry-Touch Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for sensitive skin is hypoallergenic and up to 2 hours water resistant. The mineral based face sunscreen contains zinc oxide for physical broad spectrum sun protection.

Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face Dry-touch Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 is a mineral based sunscreen that provides high broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection whilst being gentle on skin. With Purescreen zinc oxide, it filters out harmful UVA and UVB rays from skin. Suitable for daily protection and use on the face, it contains vitamin E, a skin daily conditioning anti-oxidant and leaves an invisible matte finish on skin.

Warnings

Warnings: Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. May be irriating to eyes. If product gets into eyes rinse thoroughly with water. For external use only. Discontinue use and see a doctor if signs of irritation or rash appear. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poisons Information Centre right away. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Directions

Directions: Apply liberally to all exposed areas 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply frequently (at least every 2 hours) and immediately after swimming, excessive perspiration, towelling, or prolonged sun exposure.

A little tip, a little goes a long way. It did take a bit more effort to ensure that it was rubbed in and absorbed completely, but it didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. It gave my skin a nice smooth feel to it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good sunblock.

No scent is great and perfumed things can irritate my sinus's. Also I can't believe how wonderfully this product absorbs into my skin, no greasy residue whatsoever. I usually dislike wearing sunscreen on my face as they leave a film- oily texture which in turn can make my face sweat a lot, but this is the first I've tried that does not so that! Very impressed I must say.

I almost forgot I had it on my face. I'm in the sun alot daily, so it was a necessity that I have sunscreen. Alot of sunscreens I've tried were oily, slimy, felt heavy on my skin or just didn't work. Have since purchased more for my work bag, hubby's work bag and our car. Definitely recommend to others.

This Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face Lotion was brilliant. It rubbed in and while it protected my skin it did not leave me looking ghostly white. It’s the perfect solution. It wasn’t heavy or sticky on my skin all day. I loved it.

Found it absorbs well and did not have an overpowering smell. Was not thick or cakey on the skin. Loved that it has SPF50 sunscreen to help prevent wrinkles and skin damage from the sun. Love the fact that it is water resistant for swimming in our hot summer weather and days at the beach. Love that it is for sensitive skin and hypoallergic as we all have sensitive skin in our family. Love that it does not sting the eyes at the end of the day which I find alot of other products do.

Some reviewers say they don't like this product but don't have any suggestions of good alternative. I am glad I found this product, I just hope they keep making it.

Did a lot of research and read a lot of review about how hard to apply this sunscreen equally across the face and it irritates their eye so on. It offers a high SPF protection and great offer price that is really hard to get pass, I decided to bite the bullet. Glad I did :-). I don't have the problem putting it on after my moisturiser. It spread out evenly. I ran out of my eye cream with SPF two weeks ago and I also tab small amount under my eye and on my eye lid. I didn't sting my eye when sweating. Very happy. Will definitely repurchase.
