Its great and the heat lasts better than any other heating treatments we have used, on the road it will be warm for hours. Also better than a hot water bottle as you dont have to fill it so also good for the elderly. Great also if you travel as some accommodation places dont have microwaves to heat heat packs, these go into the power and stay warm for hours. Have put so many people onto them.

This as been the best thing ever . It only takes 15mins to heat up and then hours of relief .

Stays warm all night as it’s used to help a recent surgery site recover. A little awkward to heat up, but doesn't take long at all. Safety cut off when warmed. Recommended item

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hotpod - use, efficacy and safety warning I find these great for long-lasting warmth; their ability to retain heat is far superior to either wheat packs or hot water bottles. They are great for soothing chronic pain such as arthritic pain, or simply to keep you warm in the cooler months. I have two hotpods, as they will not reheat until they have lost almost all their heat. This way, I can always heat one up if I need the extra warmth. However, it is absolutely essential that you heed the warning on the pack not to use the hotpods for more than two years. Last year I had one (which was probably closer to three years old than two) explode and leak on me and I sustained a nasty 3rd degree burn, which took over 5 months to heal. I still use hotpods, as I live with chronic pain and have found no other product which works as well. However, I now label their tags in indelible ink with their expiry date (2 years after I first open the package) and will be sure to throw them out once that date is reached. They don't always last that long anyway. Mine are used daily, often multiple times a day, and I have found that eventually they simply stop heating properly and need replacing.
