Warnings

When using for rub-on, DO NOT: Use on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a physician. Apply close to eyes. Apply to nostrils, wounds or damaged skin. Bandage tightly or use with heating pads. When using for steam inhalation, DO NOT: Use on children under 6 years of age. Leave children unsupervised. Heat in a microwave or reheat mixture. Add into the water that you are heating. Consult a doctor: If fever is present or symptoms persist. If pregnant or breast-feeding before use. While using this medicine: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth or mucous membrane. When exposed to eyes, rinse eyes with water immediately. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredients listed on the label. If you have sensitive skin, test this product on a small area of skin before applying it to a large area. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Contains a high concentration of menthol, which can cause severe skin irritation. Keep clothing loose

Use only as directed. If fever is present or symptoms persist, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not take by mouth or place in nostrils. Not to be used on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a physician. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Whilst it can be a little greasy upon application, as long as you're careful to keep clothing away from it it's not really an issue. Almost as soon as you apply it the wonderful Eucalyptus aroma drifts up and begins to clear your nose. It also gives you a gentle warming sensation across your chest, which can be quite comforting. It will not cure a cold, but it definitely helps with the symptoms and can assist you in getting a better night's sleep. I will always have some of this great little product in my medicine chest.

My kids don't mind it and are very happy to let me put it on. When they have had a bad cold we put it on their chests as well as the soles of their feet. Even a Dr recommended us to use it in the past.

My family have all been sick with a cold so it was a perfect opportunity to use Vick’s. We all applied it to our chest and feet at night. Easy to apply ,but remember to wash your hands. Good for colds as chest rub,great on feet to stop colds getting worse. Only thing is I do t find the menthol as strong as when I was a kid. Seems toned down somewhat

Recently purchased a jar of Vicks vaporub 100g from the local pharmacy here. the product is not effective at all, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone considering the price. Use something else with better efficacy and longevity because this vicks isn't effective at all. The pharmacy staff were nice enough to refund me my money. Never buying it again.

It has a very unusual chemically smell, almost as if it has gone off and the smell disappears much quicker than the Vaporub I am used to buying in the UK. It has been much less effective than I am used to and I do not think I would purchase this again in its current formula.
