You need only a little and it builds lather well. It's super efficient at breaking down the oils and dirt from the dishes and leaves it clean and sparkling. It's light on the hands and pleasantly scented so makes dish washing quite pleasant. The proof of its efficiency is that my daughter doesn't complain about dishes anymore.
