It is a decent price, stops nappy rash, washes out of fabric without stains and most importantly, sticks to skin – even when it's wet! I buy this cream for every new mum and they all say how much better it is than every other cream they've tried.

There are no harsh chemical in the cream. No over powering smell to the product either. This nappy cream is affordable and located at multiple shops around my home My Son is thankful!

My newborn developed nappy rash and I thought I’d give this a try. Well I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. My husband and I noticed a visible improvement in bubs Bally rash within a few nappy changes and the nappy rash was completely gone within a day or so. Only negatives would be that it is slightly greasy to apply and does get stuck in skin folds if your not careful. However I feel like this is the same with most nappy rash creams. Overall I’d recommend.

It is easy to apply as it slides on and doesn't become clumpy like some other creams might. It has no fragrance and does not smell of anything. It does not irritate the skin. I would buy this again when I am looking to restock on nappy barrier creams. My only suggestion is that to have the lid open before you do a nappy change so that you can access it with one hand while you are dealing with fighting legs or poop!

It was easy to use, had no smell and kept my babies bums free of rashes. We have had pretty bad rashes for for some of the kids but have found QV barrier cream to be strong enough to keep them rash free. I will definitely be buying more QV barrier cream in the future and switching over from the previous brands and will be recommending this to other mums too!

This is a great thick barrier cream for preventing and treating nappy rash. I apply barrier cream to my baby’s nappy area at every nappy change to prevent nappy rash. I probably still prefer sudocrem but this product still does the job. Easy to apply. The tube is also more hygienic than a sudocrem tub (no dipping fingers back in). Good zinc concentration. Works amazingly well and super long lasting. Clears up any redness with in a great time frame. Very gentle on skin and leaves skin feeling soft.I would definately use it again and buy it at the shops when I need a nappy barrier cream. I'm actually very much contemplating changing over to this from my current nappy cream. Has a very pleasant feel and smell. I also love the fact that it helps to rehydrate the skin and prevent moisture loss, keeping my baby's bottom soft and rash free. The QV baby barrier cream uses the tube packaging, which we find it very easy to use and not very bulky when traveling. This product when we use it on our baby's nappy rash, it provides a good barrier and comfort on the area. After each use, the next time when we were changing the nappy, the rash is pretty much gone. We love this product and will continue to recommend it to our friends.

It goes on easily and is absorbed quickly with no greasy residue. It left my baby’s bottom soft and was gentle on his skin. It didn’t cause any rash or irritation. I was impressed with how quickly it was absorbed and liked the silky texture. It is great for everyday use and for mild irritation but I didn’t find it as effective as my usual product to treat an established case of nappy rash. I do like the squeeze tube for on the go travel.

Compared to other creams on the market, QV Baby Barrier Cream has a thinner consistency making application much easier – especially with a wriggling child! The cream is easily dispensed from the tube and can be applied without feeling sticky or greasy and is great to chuck in your nappy bag when you’re on the go. It works well to protect against nappy rash and soothe nappy rash when it does occur. The QV Baby Barrier Cream has a moisturising base, so it helps hydrate bubs skin and prevent moisture loss. This is another QV product you can trust. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Merryn from Good cream, but not a replacement for my favourite. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I liked this nappy rash cream. It has a smooth velvety texture, probably due to the inclusion of dimethicone as an ingredient. This is a type of silicone often in skin and haircare as it smoothes over rough skin etc. It definitely has that slip to it when you are moving it over the skin, as opposed to the thick stickiness of a Sudocrem or the like. My baby rarely suffers from nappy rash unless teething or sick, so I don't use the cream at every change as per directions, but I found it did help when he did have nappy rash, just not as much as my favourite barrier cream. I liked that the cream seemed to absorb into the skin as well as creating a barrier, and didn't have to be lathered on thickly to make an impact. It is also not so thick as to be difficult to get into thigh/groin folds. I also enjoyed that it was fragrance free and didn't leave stains all over clothing and our cloth nappies. I personally prefer a Bepanthen cream, but this also did a good job. Helped with minor skin rash from heat also.

Unlike another brand that I’ve tried, this cream is not too thick and tacky to apply and does not have a strong smell. I am very happy with the product and I would highly recommended this so all parents. I use it on every nappy change to prevent nappy rash since birth as a result my little one never experienced a serious nappy rash so far. I also use it for my toilet trained toddler when there’s any redness on the bottom. The redness almost always cleared up the next day.

I normally use other leading brand but I am so impressed with this product that I will continue to purchase it as my regular. I was sceptical as the cream is rather thin but is more effective at preventing and clearing nappy rash than another brand I have used. I will definitely recommend this product to others.

But it's still good

As other people have mentioned it is slightly runnier compared to other barrier creams in tubs but still leaves a lasting coverage on the skin. It has a white residue so you can see where you have applied it. It does rub off onto clothing but washes out easily. In the end, my baby needed a stronger cream to help with the rash but in the meantime, I like to think that it did help to soothe any irritation.

I also love using it during nappy changes (a separate tube of course) to protect his sensitive delicate skin from nappy rash. It creates a barrier on the skin and now he rarely gets a red nappy rash or hot rash from being in a nappy. It isn't sticky or oily and absorbs quite quickly. The cream is also ph balances and moisturises the skin at the same time. It comes in a 125g tube in a box and cost around $11 depending on where you purchase it from. I just buy mine when I'm at the chemist.

This works better for prevention, which I know is the purpose of a barrier cream but it would also be good if it helped with healing as well once nappy rash has kicked in

While it is a lot like others on the market (very familiar to the Sudocreme product, etc) it is a little bit runny (so not too thick) but importantly, it is still high in zinc oxide which saves from nappy rash and has no telltale fragrance to irritate sensitive skins. Interestingly, this product can be used for infant facial rash, heat rash and for chafing, and it is reassuring that it was developed by a hospital - the Queen Victoria Hospital. A good reliable product, great for nappies and other skin irritations.

The sight of nappy rash when his poop was super runny to now, when it is more formed now, this protects against those types of poop and heals that skin in between those poop. This is a good quality product and one that I trust.
