It has protected the delicate skin in my child's nappy area, ensuring no nasty nappy rash, redness or irritation. I have also used it for my older children to assist with bites and itches, providing soothing relief to these areas of concern. It is thick enough to provide an appropriate barrier, but without being sticky or uncomfortable on the skin. It’s so smooth to go on and doesn’t hurt Bub unlike some creams I have used as the sting . My little one had abit of a rash and within a day of using the barrier cream it stopped the rash. I now use the cream on any little rashes not just nappy rash as it clears things up so quickly. It’s not sticky or hard to get off like other creams I have used once you apply your able to use either a baby wipe or go to the sink and use water to get it off

I found the fact that it is in a tube really handy and easy to use, easy to open and easy to dispense. I found that the texture is slightly thinner than the well known brand I currently use but I have found that helpful as it is easier to spread and easier to remove from my own hands. I found that it is equally as effective as the barrier cream I normally buy however it is more convenient to use. I also found it worked well on dribble rash. I will continue buying this product. Rated 5 out of 5 by Denise from Like Sudocrem, but easier to apply [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is like Sudocrem, but easier to apply. Fairly thick, but more malleable and easier to rub in without making a big mess. Love the tube format - especially if you end up with rashes, you don’t need to bin the product. The lid is easy to open and close. We have little tubes for the nappy bags and the big tube for home. Being able to buy this at the supermarket makes it easy to keep up a supply. This easily washes out in 60°C washes with cloth nappies like Sudocrem. There’s no lingering fishy smell like Desitin. Works on a rash quickly, it’s gone in a day. This is a great cream to put on at night in case a poo happens without being woken. The barrier it creates prevents a rash forming and also makes the poo very easy to remove from the nappy. That’s important for all nappy users as disposables need poo removed and flushed too.

I’ve found that using the QV Barrier Cream, it’s offered that needed barrier but has also kept the area well moisturised. It has helped clear up any nappy rash and redness that has developed very quickly. Would definitely recommend and this will now be my go to for nappy barrier cream and will feel comfortable to use it as an every day product. I’ve recommended this cream to my sisters as have also found it to be more gentler on the skin than sudocream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been long-time users of QV products, and made the choice to start with the QV baby range when our little one came along. The barrier cream provides a nice protective layer for sensitive skin. It is light and applies smoothly and evenly. Fragrance-free as well, which is a bonus compared to other brands which have a more distinct smell. We use this in conjunction with the QV baby wash and moisturiser, which is equally lightweight, and gentle on the skin. Provides a nice bath time routine for our little one - bath with QV wash, before using the moisturiser, and then the barrier cream. Helps to keep baby’s skin hydrated and supple. Would recommend giving the barrier cream (and the other qv baby products!) a go if your little one suffers from nappy rash.

I much prefer the tube rather than the tubs that other brand barrier creams come in, as it is quicker to open, less messy and doesn't get all under my finger nails. While my baby has not suffered from nappy rash, the QV barrier cream helped the general redness quickly disappear from my baby's bits between nappy changes. I made sure to apply the cream up between the legs folds and other areas of skin that usually appear red at nappy change times.

My usual cream usually clears it up quickly as well as providing a barrier too. But I guess that’s not what this product is. It’s just a barrier cream. So as a barrier cream it has been excellent. It did provide a soothing barrier to help protect against nappy rash and chafing. I really liked the really gentle fragrance of the cream. The cream itself is nice and thick a luxurious. Nice and easy to apply and lasts well.

I used the cream every evening after her shower, and the redness was gone after a few days. It really stands out from the other nappy barrier creams. It feels very soft and smooth, is very light and easy to apply as it spreads easily and you only need a very small amount of it. It seems to be perfect for sensitive skin as it feels gentle, does not sting and is not irritating like many other creams. The package is great size and it smells lovely too. This amazing barrier cream is definitely a product like no other.

She hasn’t had any nappy rash while using this and the cream went on smoothly and easily. The smell was pleasant and it provided good coverage. They are prone to nappy rash every so often and it can cause them so much pain and is often hard to clear up. The QV baby barrier cream is paediatrician-recommended and seems to really sooth their sensitive skin. We usually have no tears when applying, even on particularly sore areas. The cream is not sticky or greasy but seems to provide an excellent shield. I find that the rash often clears in a couple of days after using the QV baby barrier cream. I’d definitely recommend it to all parents of young children.

A little goes a long way, easy to open and apply. The tube makes it easy to get out every last bit so there is no wasting of the product. When applied, it did not have a strong scent and dlwas not greasy however left a moisturised barrier layer which seemed to soothe until the next nappy change. Redness appeared to be minimised. This was also great for the redness on my babies skin between folds of skin which occurs regularly. It helped to keep the area moisturised and non abrasive therefore reduced redness

When teething, my daughter had quite bad nappy rash, which was about when I started QV barrier cream. The cream helped sooth the rash, which slowly faded after a day or so. From them, it served as a good nappy rash cream and we haven’t had any major nappy rashes since (touch wood) I like that it is in a tube- easy to squirt onto finger when doing nappy change without having to dip fingers into a tub. It also doesn’t feel greasy and sticky on your hand after, which I’m sure is a good sign on how it’s be feeling on Bub too

The nappy rash happened very quickly and caused a lot of discomfort to my 1 year old. My toddler was crying from a sore bottom after a teething poo and not only did it stop the next round hurting and crying, protecting so well. It also helped give the skin a chance to calm and was better the next day. Initially I wasn’t sure if this was up to the job as the cream is like only a bit thicker than a moisturiser but I was thoroughly impressed. The cream has no fragrance, another bonus as well as the zinc oxide to protect and heal.

It's not just for nappy rash – I've also used it on her occasional drool rash that caused some irritation on her chin. It's become my go-to solution for any minor skin irritation. A quick application of QV soothed the redness and irritation noticeably, preventing the rash from worsening. The only thing that might be a drawback for some is the consistency. It's not super thick, which some might prefer for a barrier cream. However, I find the lighter texture applies easily and doesn't leave any unwanted clumps. Plus, it absorbs quickly, so I don't have to worry about it tugging at her skin when rubbing it in which can cause tears when she’s going through a rash. She has sensitive skin and during that time I have not seen an irritation or redness on my baby's skin. I use it whenever I see nappy rash appearing and the next day her skin is not red anymore. The cream has no fragrance and is not sticky. It's not too thick nor too sticky. I am happy to keep using the QV barrier cream on my baby's sensitive skin. I recommend this for cream for anyone looking for a cream for their baby who has sensitive skin.

My baby always got bad rashes when teething and the QV nappy rash cream was the only one that actually helped. I would apply it after every nappy change and before bed. If she had a bad rash at night and I'd apply the cream the rash would be almost gone in the morning where with other creams I had tried it almost didn't do anything. I am so glad I found this one as it has helped me and my Bub so much. Highly, highly recommend!

I apply to my children's bottom at each nappy change and this has prevented any events of a nappy rash. It spreads very easily and is not stiff like other barrier creams on the market. It really prevents any irritation and forms a barrier from the skin and the nappy, chemicals, detergents, urine and poo. Safe to use on kids and babies as well as adults. It's definitely a nice texture and non greasy or sticky so can wipe off easily. Comes in a nice compact tube which can be carried around in a handbag.

I have two sons and the struggle to prevent nappy rash is real. I have used so many products to prevent any rash to skin but ended up using steroids to cure it. However once I started using QV barrier cream I regret to not choose it before. QV barrier cream does miracle to my baby’s skin. The average of getting nappy rash become very low. Best thing is I no longer have to use any steroids on my baby’s delicate skin. I recommend this product to every mom.

I have been using it from since she was a baby and I even used it on my other kids and because of the amazing results I get from it every time that’s why I always went back to using this one. We have tried some other brand, some are either too hard to spread or too thin, when baby feels uncomfortable he refused to put nappy on. QV barrier cream is well accepted. We also receivd the Baby Moisturising Cream which is our favorate. My baby used many other brand, some are more expensive, but he doesn't like them as either too sticky or the smell is too strong.QV cream is well absorbed while the make skin breath comfortable.

I got a sample of this to try on. Initially I wasn’t sure what a “barrier cream” stands for, but by reading the descriptions etc I figured it out. I was a bit hesitant to try it on my baby, as when I put it on him, it was a little bit white – different than the ones I have used in the past. However, I did find it very light and easy to apply all over bub’s bum. Also when there’s a little rash present, it certainly helps relieve and treat the area and baby feels better. Happy baby, happy mum. I would recommend it to other parents.

My baby had some red inflammation from nappy rash which was soothed to a pale pink after just one use. It creates a good barrier to keep skin protected from harsh urine or acidic poos from starting solids. It helps to warm the cream between your fingers before putting on baby's bum as the cool cream can be a bit of a surprise for baby. However, once the cream is on my baby does not seem bothered, and if she has any redness or irritation in her nappy area she seems calmed once the cream has been applied. This cream can also be used on itchy bites, it's fantastic for mosquito bites to take away the itching, stinging and inflammation. It can be helpful to cover the itchy bite so you don't get cream on your clothes or furniture while it works it's magic helping you feel better too.
