Directions

1. Wash: apply daily to a wet face. Rinse thoroughly with water.
2. Scrub: apply daily, massaging product in circular motions, concentrating
on the T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin). Rinse off with water.
3. Mask: apply to face 2-3 times per week. Allow to dry for 5 minutes.

I rarely have break outs anymore because of this product and all of my concerns that i had for this product went out of the window. I would recomment this product to everyone. It is multi-purpose and can be used 3 different ways! I will be continuing to use this because it has made such a difference within my skincare routine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used the Garnier Pure Active Intense 3 in1  for a number of weeks and found it to be very effective in cleansing my oily acne-prone skin and reducing breakouts. I used this product in all three recommended ways and it was good at each, although I preferred it most as a scrub or mask rather than a daily cleanse.  The small granules of pumice made for a gentle but effective exfoliator, but were not so plentiful that I couldn't also use it as a cleansing product. I was very happy that they chose to use a natural exfoliating agent rather than plastic micro-beads. There is a generous amount of product included in the tube and the packaging design makes it easy to store and distribute a reasonable amount of product each use. Using this product as a mask allowed for both the charcoal and salicylic acid time to work effectively and I noticed that my skin was clearer and less oily as a result. This product is aimed at  people with oily to combination skin and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as I saw great results!\n\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved the Garnier pure active 3 in 1 charcoal wash, mask and scrub.\n\n I felt that it deeply cleansed my skin as my skin was left soft and blemish free after using the product for the last two weeks. I did get an initial breakout in the first few days of using this product but that is very normal for me and it went away quickly.\n\nI felt like the product exfoliated and really drew the impurities out of my skin, leaving it soft and clean. \n\nI loved the fact its a 3 in 1, having one product that is a scrub, wash and mask in one, saving space in the shower. \n\nIts very thick, so I found that using a flannel to remove it makes it much easier. The texture feels a little odd but you do get used to it pretty quickly. \n\nI used this product daily as a wash, 2-3 times a week as a scrub and once a week as a mask. \n\nI have noticed a positive change in my skin, using the Garnier pure active 3 in 1 charcoal wash, mask, scrub. My pores look smaller, my skin is softer and blemish free and I feel more confident.\n\nI would buy this again. \n\n

If you are like me and have oily, acne prone skin with larger pores and blackheads then this product works wonders.  It has reduced my pore size and has significantly reduced my blackheads, especially on the nose and chin area. I used this primarily as a wash and scrub but have used it as a mask as well once a week since starting my trial. I have been trialing this product from little over a month and will definitely be buying this in  as part of my twice a day routine.  I have seen a definite reduction in the oiliness and shininess of my skin and my skin seems to have cleared significantly in regards to acne. A thing to note is when using this product, rinsing can become a little messy but easy to clean with water post cleansing (this product works so well I don't mind a little mess). The salicylic acid which is in the product worked wonders in reducing the production of oil within my skin when I used consistently twice a day. I would definitely recommend to a friend as it works wonders ... especially for the price\n\nCaitlin xx\n

I had also tried another charcoal Gariner face wash which I found extremely strong and drying on my skin, it also had a strong smell so was interested to see how this one would compare and if they had improved the formula. \nIt was great!! \nThe wash was gentle but very effective, even after one wash my skin felt smooth and softer. I liked that it had the ability to be a daily wash that wasnt to strong considering it was charcoal and that if u leave it in as a mask u can get an even better results.\nHighly recommend!! \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed trialling this Garnier pure active 3 in 1 charcohol mask scrub. \n\n I loved the fact you can use it as a mask and a face scrub & just a basic facial wash . It seemed quite gentle on my skin and seemed to remove all the dirt from my pores. You only need a small amount to wash your whole face which I really liked.\nAs the formula is clay like it can take a little more to remove from your face then regular face wash, I would recommend rinsing with warm water to remove the entire product from your face. Even when it looks like it’s all off I would always find little blobs stuck the larger pores on my face if not rinsed really well.\nThe convienence of the face mask was what made me fall in love with this product. So easy and so effective in so little time! The smell was surprisingly not bad either. My skin feels smooth and vibrant immediately after use.\nI find it being 3 in 1 really useful being that it takes up the space of one product instead of 3, saving on storage space and especially great for travel.\nOverall this was a winner for me when it comes to blackhead removal and facial products. Would defiantly  buy this product again.\n\n

My blackheads around my nose are virtually non existent and my enlarged pores have shrunk. \n\nI kept the mask on for about 5-7 minutes, and I didn’t have any issues with a burning or tingling sensation. I have combination/oily skin and this product successfully managed my breakouts, oily skin and dry patches all at once. \n\nThis product is heavily fragranced so if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t use this. \n\nA big thumbs up from me! \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from he 3 in 1 Charcoal Mask by Garnier is a fantastic product that works toward the breakdown and prevention of blackheads. Through using this product I used it for all 3 of its purposes, as a wash, a scrub and a mask. Having initial knowledge that charcoal worked well for blackheads I had high hopes as I have combination skin, with blackheads through my t zone. Through my first use of the product as a wash and scrub I found that the product improved the texture of my skin and minimally reducing the size of surface blackheads. I continued to use this product within my skincare routine, daily as a wash and every 2nd - 3rd day as a mask. Through using the product as a mask I noticed a slight tingle, but nothing different to other charcoal masks. In just over a week I noticed a dramatic difference. Not only did it minimise surface blackheads and pimples I noticed the product working deeper in minimising my pores, improving texture and deeper skin problems. I found that this product did dry my skin out a bit as my skin is a bit sensitive to certain products. I would 100% recommend this product and am definitely going to keep it as part of my skin care routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been using this product for about a month or so, the first thing I did when I got it was use it as a mask because I was having a lot of trouble with blackheads on my nose and inbeetween my eyes.\nAfter leaving the mask on for 10min or so my skin was lovely and soft and it had dried up some of the breakouts I was having.\nI used the mask again the next night just on the patches on my nose where I needed it and again the night after, after the third use the spots had all but dissapeared, I was so impressed and I imagine you could use the same technique with single spots. \nAfter that I just used the wash when I was in the shower in the mornings, I discovered that i only needed to scrub very very lightly on most of my skin but on my problem areas like my nose I would use a bit more force. I found that my skin was much clearer and my pores were a little bit smaller or at least much cleaner and I really like that I can use 1 product as a mask and wash/exfoliant and im impressed that it works so well. I will be continuing using this and have already been reccomending it to my friends. \n\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been trialing the Garnier Pure Active Charcoal 3-in-1 mask for about a month, and I absolutely love the product. I could notice a big difference in my skin from just one use. My skin looked really bright and refreshed. I noticed that after only a few uses of the 3-in-1 mask, my blackheads were just about gone, and my pores on my nose were reduced and I wasn't having regular pimple break outs. The product really helped keep under control my oily skin, without drying it out. This product is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. \n \nI used the product as a wash/scrub and mask. Even though the product says 3 in 1, which can either be used as a scrub, wash and a mask, I felt it was more of a 2 in 1 product, as the wash and scrub can be combined. \n \nThe product is really easy to use, and a little goes a long way. You don’t need to apply much as it spreads nice and easily. \n \nFor the wash/scrub, I washed my face with water, then I washed/scrubbed my face with the Charcoal mask on a daily basis. I used the mask on my face twice a week. You only need to apply a thin layer to a wet face and allow it to dry completely,roughly around 5 minutes, before washing it off and applying your favourite moisturizer. \n \nThe Pure Active Charcoal mask was dark grey in colour and in my opinion had a masculine smell to it, which I didn’t mind. I did notice, every time I used the product it left a tingling sensation on my face, but I never had a reaction to it.  \n \nI have heard so many great things about charcoal masks and the product did not disappoint. It is great to find a product that can do so many beneficial things to help clear up my face. I would recommend this product to anyone who has skin concerns regarding blackheads, pimples and oily skin, as it has really helped me. \n\n

This product is brilliant for the busy, modern-day woman, giving post-facial feeling results!! \n\nI have used many products and being a Beauty junkie am always on the lookout for bigger and better. This product being a 3 in 1 made me a little nervous as often products are great at one thing but not so good at others, however this one is the exception.\n\nI would say it’s more of a 2 in 1 however as I didn’t feel that the wash and scrub were too different for comparison however likewise results spoke for themselves whichever way you choose to use it.\n\nAs a wash/scrub it doesn’t foam at all, which is good as there are no bubbles up your nose, in your mouth or in your hair (if you are trying to keep it dry). It completely cleanses and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. I also noticed it was smoother and less shiny after using it consistently.\n\nAs a mask, now that is amazing. I had it on for 5mins while I did my hair treatment, rinsed, pat dry... and O.M.G!!! It reminded of the feeling straight after a complete facial at the spa. My skin was so soft and fresh, smooth and shine free. It is amazing. And if you don’t want to spend as much on luxury products, this will certainly give you the same feeling.\n\nI had no reactions from this product and I have sensitive skin, so that was also a plus.\n\nI would definitely recommend this for everyone, you won’t regret it and neither will your skin. \n\nSimone xx \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garnier is that one brand that made me realize that often, all you need to do is scour your friendly neighborhood drugstore to find effective, but reasonably-prized skin products. \n\nMy skin is oily to combination, and very much susceptible to clogging, impurities, and blackheads. That’s why the Garner PureActive Intensive 3-in-1 charcoal anti-blackhead scrub is perfect for me. It is 3-in-1 in two ways: firstly, you can use it as facial wash, as facial scrub, or as facial mask. Secondly, it purifies, unclogs resistant blackheads, and to neutralizes shine. For a single product to be so versatile yet particular enough to target your usual oily skin problem is a great thing. Not only does it simplify your routine, you also get the most use for your purchase. \n\nIt contains charcoal, blueberry extract, and salicylic acid, with the last ingredient being your ultimate friend if your pores are susceptible to clogging. \n\nI personally think it smells amazing (a little musky but still very clean), but if you are particularly sensitive to scented products, you might have to consider whether it is something you can tolerate, more so because it lingers for a while even after washing. Its consistency is quite smooth and watery compared to other charcoal masks, but this does not pose too much of a problem when applied. One trick I’ve discovered to minimize mess is to squeeze quite a thick amount on your fingertips and then apply it on your face by spreading it evenly. It dries up rather quickly too, which is good if you’re concerned about leaving a mess on your sink. It is also easy to wash off.\n\nBecause it contains salicylic acid, you may want to consider how to best use it depending on where your skin falls in the oiliness spectrum. I’ve found that because my problem area is really my t-zone, using it as a daily scrub has helped minimize blackheads. As a mask, I've also noticed the oiliness on my chin has been reduced. All in all, I’d recommend this product.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it i am always quite reluctant to try 3 in 1 type products, i feel they never quite hit the spot when they are trying to target 3 things. But i was really surprised by this product. i put a light layer all over my face and left it for a couple of minutes, it dried quite quickly and did not sting like some other masks do. Once i added water and scrubbed a little bit and washed it off it left my skin feeling super smooth and clear. It did not have an overly strong smell which is good as is does no irritate my eyes. I have used it a couple of times now and have noticed a difference in the appearance of my black heads especially around the nose area. Would recommend this product to anyone who has issues with blackheads as it has helped me out a lot and a little goes a long way so it lasts awhile.

There is a small amount of salicylic acid and the beads and charcoal provide not only a scrub to remove dead skin and build up. It works wonders and I would reccomend it to anyone especially those with dry acne skin. You can use it as a scrub, face wash or even mask.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gives insatnt results I really liked this product!<br />I have tried a few charcoal products before and I find that they can really dry out my skin if I use them too often but not with this product, I have used it as a mask a few times and just for generally washing my face and my skin is still nice and hydrated.<br />MASK: I put a medium layer of this all over my face and leave on for 5-10 mins and you can see some of the oil that was in my skin soaking into the mask, once its washed off my skin looks brighter, pores are visibly smaller and over all my skin looks and feels refreshed and clean.<br />Scrub/Wash: I use this in the morning and night just to wash off the day. I scrub this product over my problem areas such as my cheeks and nose and again I find that there are viable results straight away.<br />If you use this product every day I don't think you will need to use it as a mask unless you are going out somewhere and you want flawless skin and results instantly, but from every day use you definitely notice a difference in skin quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3-in-1! I was very excited to try out the Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1, that I actually tried it out the night it arrived! I thought the 3-in-1 was a great idea, and seeming that I had not done a mask in about 2 weeks I thought I would try out the mask first, as my skin defiantly needed it.<br />The product smelt refreshing, kind of like a men's perfume (I think cool water lol). When applying the product, a little does go a long way. The colour of the mask is dark and when applying it to the face it does look thick, however, it is lightweight and breathable unlike some masks that you cant wait to wash off. The mask waiting time is only 5 mins which I thought was great as I can be impatient haha. Washing off the mask was so easy, it came right off there was no need for scrubbing the stubborn patches that are sometimes left o your skin. Because it has little beads in it, when I was washing it off it also acted like a scrub which I though was convenient. I was very happy with this product, it will now be a part of my weekly beauty routine to help control my oily skin and reduce break outs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great facial scrub I picked this up from my local supermarket when there was a sale on garnier products. I felt my pores had become clogged and I had noticed some blackheads on my nose. I had used garnier scrubs in the past and I was happy with the result, the charcoal was selling point for me as I wanted to see how it worked and the difference between this and other products it used The texture of the scrub is gel like (dark in colour, with microbeads), I found it really absorbed into my skin. I found a small amount of product goes a long way. I found that this product didn't have a strong/overpowering scent. I use this product three/four times a week as a deeper cleanse (the other days I use my everyday face wash). After using this my skin always feels and looks like it is clean and refreshed. After 5 or 6 uses I noticed that appearance of blackheads on my nose had reduced and my issue with clogged pores/pimple breakouts had been drastically reduced. My skin can get a bit oily at times (especially when I wear heavier makeup for a prolonged period of time, such as multiple days in a row). This scrub helped reduce that oily appearance/feeling If you want a scrub that works purchase this one, it is effective and it works quickly. You will notice results.

The three hero ingredients in this are: Charcoal – Absorbs oil and excess sebum. Salicylic Acid – Helps to eliminate blemishes, and reduce long-term scarring. Micro Beads – Helps deeply cleanse the skin The packaging for this product is gender neutral, this product is perfect for women and men with oily/acne prone skin. The consistency is a thick gel with charcoal and micro beads. The feel is quite gentle on the skin, It’s foaming scrub texture isn’t harsh at all. The scent is very pleasant, a little manly but not too overpowering. The results are great, don’t expect instant gratification, this is not a one night magic scrub but you will notice the reduced appearance of blackheads and spots after a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for acne/blemish prone skin. I absolutely love this product. I previously used the Garnier 3 in 1 pure active. I decided to try the Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1. It is by far one of the best products I have used to treat my acne/blemish prone skin. It clears up any acne/blemish when used as a wash. When used as a scrub it clears up blackheads and when used as a mask it really tightens your pores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear pores for sure! I have been doing a lot of research about charcoal masks and do they actually work? I have seen many masks that helps remove blocked pores. I tried one but it was like waxing you face, but worse!! So painful! I wasn't sure about this product but I love Garnier products and I know when they do something, they always do it right. This is a fantastic product! I I tried the face mask first. When I put it on my face, it was so easy to smooth all over and was not dripping off my face, which makes it easier to do other odd jobs while you wait. It says to leave it on for 5 minutes but I left it on for 10 or maybe 15 when the mask became a little dry. Not only does it have a fresh tingly feeling, the smell was lovely but not too over powering I once I washed it off, I could see that my skin looked different. It looked clear and the best part, was no blackheads around my nose I also have sensitive skin and I find it hard to find a face mask that isn't stinging my face when I leave a product on for a long time. I had no issue with this To maintain my new fresh skin, I used the wash and exfoliator each day. This kept the blackheads away and my face clean. I even used it as a make up remover!

I used this product at night, over the span of a week or so.<br />I absolute love the deep cleansing side of it. it really make my skin feel clean an fresh, and the charcoal actually helps combat oilyness! I sometimes get reactions to products due to my skin being sentitive, but to my surprise I did not react to this. the beads give a gentle exfoliation that isn't too rough or harsh like other products I've tried. my skin feels refreshed, and has started to clear up already! the scent is faint, and the consistency is quite thick, which turns into a nice cream when water is added. I love using this in the shower as well as pat of my nightly cleansing routine Being a 3 in 1 product, and the amount you get I really do think its great value for money, as well as being great for minimising space in the bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, clean skin The Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1 is a cleanser, scrub and mask which is so easy and convenient as its all in one, great for people that don't have time to buy separate products or the money. I find this product to be super easy to apply and you only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. When using this product as a scrub I find that the granules are a great size and not to rough on your skin. It really helped with any breakouts I was having and made my pores noticeable smaller. When washing off the product my skin would feel smooth and cleansed, a real clean feeling, without feeling dry. I hate when using a mask it flakes off onto my bed sheets or my clothes but I don't find this product to flake at all which I love. Only down side to this product would have to be the scent can be a little over powering especially if you have sensitive skin and it can be messy to wash off, even when I'm in the shower. When I use this for a mask I apply it all over my skin and leave it for about 5-15mins and wash off in the shower When I use this for cleanser/scrub I gently use circular motions and scrub all over my skin focusing on my nose and t zone area and wash off Overall I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Detoxing and refreshing I had heard about the garnier multiple uses in one products and when I received the charcoal scrub and mask as part of the trial team I was thrilled to try this out! Upon opening the product, it smelt fresh and was a dark grey colour. I squeezed some out onto my hand and decided to try it as a mask first. I covered my entire face in the product and allowed it to set for 10 minutes. It made my face feel tight and firm. It took some time to wash off my face, and I did use a face washer to remove the product which did end up staining my face washer- luckily it was an older one! Afterwards my face felt detoxed and really refreshed. I followed up with applying my favourite moisturiser and my skin felt glowy for the rest of the day. I also tried this as a scrub whilst in the shower, which felt like it was removing my dead skin and cleaning my skin without feeling harsh or abrasive. Overall, I really enjoyed this product it left my skin refreshed and reduced some of my acne. I will be buying this product myself once it's empty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved It! I was lucky enough to be part of the trial team for the Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1. This product can be used as a face wash, face scrub, and a face mask. I had been eyeing off this product for a while so I was excited to be able to try it out.<br />This product comes in a tube with a flip open cap, which is great for controlling the amount you want for each use. The tube is black with red, blue and white writing. It is very easy to find. It is recommended for people with oily to combination skin. It is a black, creamy texture with small grit in it.<br />I tried this as a wash, scrub and mask. It was easy to use and felt nice on my skin. It was easy to apply and to remove. The smell wasn’t too strong or unpleasant however it wasn’t “pretty” either. I expected more of a blueberry smell as there is blueberry extract in the product. My skin felt smooth and clean after every use. The grittiness was great when using it as a scrub and wasn’t too harsh or too gritty when used as a wash either. When using it as a face mask I left it on about 5 minutes before washing off, my skin felt so smooth! Just be careful when washing off, since the product is black in colour it is more noticeable if any gets splashed onto walls/basins. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t stain and is easily removed with a wet washcloth.<br />After around only 3 uses I already saw changes in my skin. There were noticeably less blackheads and breakouts, and my skin looked and felt less oily. After just over 1 week of use my skin was almost blackhead free! I would definitely recommend the Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1 to anyone with a problem with blackheads, imperfections and oiliness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! At first I was hesitant to switch from the face wash I was using as I thought I wouldn't find better, but I am so glad I got the chance to try this product. Not only is it a great face wash but the ability for it to also be a scrub and a mask is fabulous! I tried this product as a general wash, AND LOVED IT. I tried this product as a scrub, AND LOVED IT. I tried this product as a mask, AND LOVED IT. This product does leave you with that just clean tingly feeling which I know I love as I can feel it is giving my skin a really deep clean. I would however recommend that you use this product in the shower or bath as trying to wash off the charcoal in the sink can sometimes get fairly messy but if you have used products with charcoal before you would already know this. All in all, this is a great product and I will definitely be buying this again and switching from my previous holy grail face wash!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garnier Pure Active Intensive Charcoal 3-in-1 Having tried a few charcoal products previously I was keen to trial this new Garnier product. It’s quite a generous size product (150ml) which looks to be available for between $10 - $13 depending on where you buy it. This makes it a very cost-effective competitor in the charcoal based market I quite liked the packaging, being a squeeze bottle and a flip-top lid. Thanks to the squeeze bottle design I think it will be easy to use the full product The formula itself has quite a gritty feel and is black in colour. This product has the distinctive Garnier scent – fresh and not overpowering. I would suggest using the wash/scrub aspects in the shower as I discovered that it’s a bit tricky to remove the residue from a white sink To start with I found the product was quite a good scrub and left my skin feeling very clean without being dry, which I’m generally quite happy with in a face wash/scrub for this price! I didn't immediately notice any reduction in my blackheads however after about 10 days I realised that my blackheads were pretty much gone! My skin is fairly balanced and I do not have any issues with acne or oil but I do struggle with a large number of tiny blackheads on my nose. This product worked really well on my skin so I would recommend it for people with similar issues. I'm not sure how effective it would be for other skin types but I think given the results and the price it's definitely worth trying!
