How is it different? Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water has a biphase formula, which cleanses, soothes and removes all types of make-up from the face, eyes and lips in one step without needing to rinse off.

How to use? Shake. Soak cotton pad and wipe across face, lips and eyes.

How does it work? Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water has created a new generation of cleansing in a biphase formula, enriched with Micelles and Argan Oil to cleanse and remove make-up. Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Okay I bought this product after trying and loving the original Garnier Micellar Water and was kind of disappointed Because of the oil layer, I thought that this product would be more effective at removing waterproof makeup than its predecessor. It was only a little bit better at removing makeup, but only just barely smudged my waterproof mascara and eyeliner. The scent/taste of this product is a lot stronger than its original too. I found that when I removed lipstick, the taste would get in my mouth and was offputting. It was a floraly kind of taste. Additionally, when I would try and get the eyeliner on my tightline/waterline, it would irritate my sensitive eyes a little bit. I didn't often use the normal micellar water for my eye makeup since it wasn't effective on it, but on the occasions I did, I don't ever remember the original irritating my eyes Like other makeup removers with oil phases, this one did leave behind a slight oily feeling, but it wasn't as bad as like the Neutrogena oil free makeup remover. But then again, the little power this product has at removing waterproof makeup is made up by its lack of oily residue. The lack of oily residue also may be attributed to the fact that I have pretty dry skin, so it might be different on oily skin I'll use this product up, as it works fine at removing my foundation, but when it comes to repurchasing, I'll go back to the original micellar water. Went through two bottles of that, and would definitely go through a third instead of a second one of this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This comes in a bottle with a flip top lid. The lid is flimsy and would not be safe to travel with. The bottle is clear and the water has a yellowish brown tint and the top layer of oil is yellow/orange.\n\nThe first thing I noticed was the scent, it has a really strong floral scent. To use it, you need to shake the bottle so the oil and water combine and the color turns into a lemonade color.\n\nI applied some on a cotton pad and gently wiped it on my face to remove make up, it left my face feeling greasy. It claims to be non-greasy but unfortunately this isn't true. I experimented by not rinsing afterwards and my skin just felt oily and the floral scent lingered. I instantly need to wash my face with a cleanser to get rid of the residue.\n\nIt does remove waterproof makeup, however I'd stick to cream/lotion based makeup remover for my eyes. This oily feeling just didn't do it for me and I'd hate to get this in my eye!\n\nUnfortunately this product isn't for me and my combination skin. I much prefer garniers micellar water which I will continue to use and repurchase. It's a shame I can't say the same about this product.\n\nPros\n-affordable\n-removes waterproof makeup\n\nCons\n-strong scent\n-greasy feeling\n-oily residue\n\nI'd recommend this to people with dry skin as the oil may compliment your skin and will better absorb the oil.\n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I thought I'd try this out as I liked the idea of the infusion of oil. It didn't leave my skin feeling greasy but my skin didn't feel fresh and clean after using it. I've also tried it for removing makeup and unfortunately I wasn't impressed there either. I'll admit it is great at removing eye makeup, but for my foundation and concealer I found myself irritating my skin from rubbing too hard and I went through so many cotton pads to remove it all. Afterwards I still felt like my skin wasn't clean. You do get a lot of product for your money, the packaging is and simple and the fragrance is nice. The lid on mine sadly snapped the first day I had it.

This oil-infused micellar water has a floral scent which I think is unnecessary. I don't really like face cleansing products that have perfume as an ingredient. Even though it removed makeup marginally better than the original micellar water it irritated my eyes. Also it does leave an oil residue on your skin which I don't like. \n\nOverall this product just did not work out for me.\n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I found that while this did remove all my makeup, it took a lot of product and cotton pads to remove a full face, and it did leave a slight greasy residue on my face. As someone with oily/combo skin I did not enjoy it. I would continue to use it only as a first cleanse to remove some of my makeup, however I would definitely use a rinse off cleanser afterwards to ensure my face was totally clean. It did remove waterproof eye and lip makeup as promised.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this product so bad, but I just don't. I thought the oil would be a great addition to Micellar water, but for me it misses the mark. I have oily/combination skin and have been feeling a bit dry over the summer so I thought this would be a great cleanser. However, the fragrance is quite strong and the product irritates my eye - so much so that I have to go in with a dry cotton pad to get the oil out of my eye. The bottle directs me to use a light touch and no harsh rubbing needed, but I don't find the cleanser taking my makeup off properly, and it really struggles with non-waterproof, everyday mascara. Moreover, I don't have sensitive skin, however this product has caused dry bumps to pop up on my cheekbones - a sure sign that something's irritating it. I'll stick to Argan oil in my foundation as a way to get good oils into my skin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stung my eyes I've used Garnier micellar water in the past with no issue so I thought I'd try this one believing the oil would be a benefit to my skin. Howver, my eyes became swollen and went red making them feel like they were on fire. Not only did it not remove my make-up, but it made the soft make-up pad I used with it feel like it was sand paper because it made my eyes that sore and sensitive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst product ever Started using this to remove my make up and it made areas of my face feel like it was on fire. Removing eyeliner with it was the biggest mistake ever! My eye swelled up and the gunk made my eye be stuck closed!! My eyelid swelled so excessively it split the skin. Only thing that could ease the pain was warm compresses to the eye. Avoid this product unless enjoy eyelashes falling out, swollen red eyes and wear sunglasses everywhere you go due to being self-conscious.

I use micellar water quite frequently so I was excited to try out this new product from Garnier as I do use quite a few of their products with high satisfaction. The size of the product was generous and the design/packaging was informative and attractive. \nUpon my first use of the product I noticed it didn't remove impurities as well as other Micellar water products and it left my skin feeling a little oilier. After continued use of a few days I had to stop using the product as my skin started to break out and each time I used the product I felt it was adding oils instead of cleaning my skin. Unfortunately I'm not sure who I would recommend this product to, possibly someone with very dry skin looking to balance it out. It was not suitable for my combination skin especially in Summer. Disappointing trial as Garnier is a brand I generally trust and buy from time to time. \n
