Rated 4 out of 5 by Princess Fiona1 from Gentle but effective mask QV Face Purifying Mask is to be a mask suitable for sensitive skin, working to smooth, hydrate, purify and cleanse skin, with a clay base that helps to remove excess oils and dirt. The mask is comes in a tube, which makes it very hygienic. It has a very neutral or rather next to no fragrance. Unlike other mud masks, this mask is white and very smooth and cream – basically like a cream, and hence it spread very easily. At first use, I was a little surprised at how much I seemed to need to cover my full face, and it was as if it mask absorbed into my skin, rather than leave with a ghostly white looking face. As it is almost like some of the mask absorbs into the skin like a moisturising cream, it takes a little longer than I expected to rinse it off. Unlike other mud masks, which when dry, leaves a 'crackling' and tight feeling of the skin, this didn't seem to be the case with the QV mask. The packaging says to leave it on for 5-10 minutes, but being so gentle, I can easily leave this on for 10 minutes which I relax with my favourite mag! Normally, although I do not suffer from sensitive skin, but rather have a combination skin, which tends to be more greasy and break out more when having my period – I can still only use clay based mask once a week, as otherwise my skin does 'protest' and leaves my skin rather blushed. With the QV mask, I felt that this was gentle enough to use every second day, and I love this, especially during those days where I find that my skin is more greasy than normal. Being able to do so, I also found that my make up as a consequence stayed put for longer during this period. It has certainly made my skin look fresher and cleaner, and less oily, and I also feel that I've reduced the number of 'monthly' breakouts. The included headband was great bonus, which I now enjoy using every night while removing my makeup, avoiding my hair getting wet and greasy from the cleanser. I have used the mask every 2-3 days, a total of 4 times, and predict to be able to get another 3 or so uses out of it. Compared to other masks it is at $13.50, therefore in my opinion great value for money, and with the results, I would certainly purchase this again, as well as recommend this to anybody looking for a gentle but effective mask.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rebecca_D_MUA from Masknificent! QV purifying face mask does what it says on the box. My skin looked and felt smoother, hydrated and just plain fresher after I used it. It's easy to apply - smoothes on effortlessly (I find some clay masks 'drag' on my skin) and a little dollop is enough for a generous application. I also like that it isn't too thick or opaque - I can use this mask without scaring my 9 month old baby! The mask cleans off easily with warm water and a washer. I was also pleased to find that my moisturiser was more effective after using the mask. I highly recommend this great budget friendly product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by pink shoes from QV Mask The mask comes in a tube with a flip top lid so thats a good start for me. It comes out easily with a light pressure needed to squeeze, so its not too thick but its also not running out the tube I would say its about the same consistancy as toothpaste. I expected a grainy, grey mud looking product but was pleasantly surprised that it is white, smooth and oh so creamy. It has a very soft scent that I would say is just a lotion scent nothing overpowering or off putting. The creaminess of the mask makes it so easy to apply and it just glides onto your face. It dries to light white like watered down milk colour. It doesn't dry too tight and it doesn't crack but you can feel it drying and tightening its not an overpowering feeling at all. Washing it off with water was a bit of a chore as I discovered the first time because as soon as you put water on it, it goes back to the creaminess of before and takes a while to come off, so after the first time I used a wet flannel to help remove it all off of my face. The end result was my skin did feel a little bit firmer and smoother and I felt a bit pampered. Would I buy it again, yes I've even thought about making a pamper pack for my niece and putting this in it as it is a friendly price.

This is a very basic and light textured mask that dries nicely on the skin without ever making it feel tight and itchy like some kaolin based face masks can do. I think the addition of safflower oil helps to keep the skin soft and supple while the Vitamin E provides anti-oxidant benefits and the kaolin helps to draw out any impurities. I don't have sensitive skin but my husband definitely does and he has used this a few times without any irritation whatsover. This feels nice on without ever making you feel uncomfortable and then 10 minutes later rinses away nicely leaving skin soft, rejuvenated and ready for the next step in your skincare routine. The fact that it comes in a flip top tube means it is very easy to use and also hygenic. After using this a few times I did notice an improvment in the texture of my skin, it felt smoother and somehow a little less oily. At only $13.50 this is fantastic value and it's something I would definitely consider repurchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by grapelips from Mattifying moisturiser for oily skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this a good moisturiser for oily skin types. It was a bit drying for my skin, as I like to have a very rich moisturiser at night, but this would be good for the day if you have oily skin, as it did dry matt and not shiny. It has a very runny and thin consistency, so you don't need much. It left my skin moisturised without that oily feeling, and this would be a good product to use under sunscreen daily, as it absorbed quickly. I liked the packaging as it was easy to get the product out through the pop lid.

It had a lovely texture with minimal fragrance. I applied it to damp skin after using the Oil free cleanser. The Moisturiser went on so well that I had high hopes for the product. Unfortunately it just didn't hydrate my skin as much as I would have liked it to. I also had my teen son and daughter use this. My daughter found more luck with this than my son as her skin is a lot oilierthan his. I will have the kids finish the products but I won't be able to as its just too drying on my skin.

As it is a runny consistency and comes in a tube, it spills everywhere!! It would be a 5 star product if it was in better packaging. It needs to be in a pump dispenser or thicker consistency if it to remain in the current tube. Please please change the dispenser!!

It is definitely ideal for more dry and sensitive skin, as it isn't as harsh and drying as most other face masks tend to be. It leaves skin feeling quite smooth, soft and glowy. I'm not sure that it has the deep purifying effect that I typically expect from my face masks. It does make the skin "look" nice, but I can't say that it's done much to remove all that excess gunk that lies beneath. I think I was expecting something with a bit more of a cleansing effect, whereas this just provides more of a superficial benefit, making the skin look pleasant and glowy, but not doing much else. Therefore, I don't think I would repurchase.

I have combination skin with the occasional mild sensitivity that can also get really shiny in the t-zone in the warmer month. It is packaged in a simple white plastic squeeze bottle with screw on cap. The product comes out a semi opaque white lotion that is light weight with a much more fluid consistency than a regular lotion moisturiser. The product starts to pour out once you unscrew the cap, without the need to really squeeze the bottle at all. This can be a bit messy and hard to control the desired amount. It spreads easily and nicely on the skin. A little goes a long long way with this product. I find if I applied slightly more it can leave my t-zone appear shiny/filmy shortly after. Overall, it is a gentle and light weight facial moisturiser. Although I didn't experience major improvement, it did provide hydration and soothing effects to my skin. Formulation would probably be good for true oily and acne prone skin as it contains no oil or fragrance that could clog or irritate such sensitive skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by xxtinamariexx from Not very moisturising [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oil free moisturiser was a little too runny so too much cream came out at first , so sone was wasted which will annoy a lot of people. It felt nice going on my skin but very thin. Then I found that it hardly moisturised my normal skin & I was forced to reapply. Later in tge day I still used another cream over the top. I really like the slight, clean & fresh fragrance but definately prefer a more moisturising product. This would be a good choice for very oily skin though but not normal & definately not dry skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by eriberry from Disappointing I had high hopes for this product to be an effective, basic daily moisturiser. Unfortunately it has let me down in a few ways. First of all, the cream is very, very runny. Opening the lid it leaks right out, which is really inconvenient and messy. I think it could do with a different sort of packaging/lid. Secondly, I don't find it particularly moisturising, and don't notice it to really be matte either. It's a shame because QV are generally quite trustworthy and solid products. I hope they change the formula so it's more hydrating and less runny, as well as the packaging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Annyex. from Didn’t sit well on my skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial the QV oil free moisturiser :) Overall unfortunately this moisturiser didn’t quite suit my skin. I did enjoy the light consistency and texture of a gel moisturiser but found it pill on my skin when I apply sunscreen and on occasion when I use a primer. That was the experience I was getting during the day so I trialed only at night which does not pill as much but did not sit well with my serums. I found it wasn’t as nourishing as I like it to be giving a nice concoction of hydrating ingredients. I had to use a thicker moisturiser on top, unlikely I would repurchase this. I have acne prone skin that is also prone to dehydration So I needed something more nourishing.
