Rated 4 out of 5 by midnight-blue from A good simple daily moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What's great about this moisturiser is that it does what it says on the tube: it hydrates, while providing a matte finish. It's light and absorbs quickly, making it really handy to use as a make-up base. The moisturiser itself is a bit liquidy; it has a nice shimmer to it and applies well, but personally, I'd prefer it to be a tad creamier. That being said, it's a great light daily option. I think it would be best for oily skin and those that are prone to clogged pores. I liked it for my combination skin but it didn't provide ongoing moisture to drier areas.

It is very gentle on the skin, and isn't too heavy on the face. I have sensitive skin on my face, but my skin did not react to using this product. It does not leave the skin with a sticky residue like a lot of face moisturizers do. This would be great for people with oily skin and people looking for a product that leaves a matte finish. I generally reach for moisturizers that are not sticky, but provide a small level of "glowy", but this moisturiser was a nice change and would be particular good to use in warmer weather. The bottle is a nice size and I prefer the shape to pump bottles as I find with pump bottles it is hard to use up all the product leftover in the bottle.

It's the perfect consistency, not too thick or too runny. It says matte finish but it was definitely not super dry. I really liked how my skin felt after using it. It also works very well in combination with the QV Oil Free Cleanser, my skin has been looking really fresh and clean the past few weeks. It was also great for layering product, I found my sunscreen sat really nicely over the top. The downside was the application. I found it really easy to squeeze way too much product and you only need a very small amount. Apart from that, really loved everything else.

Both the Oil Free Moisturiser and the QV Skin Lotion has a very light-weight, runny yet hydrating formula that I have not seen in other brands. Many hydrating face lotions are incredibly thick, which makes my sensitive and acne/eczema prone skin, feel irritated. QV products like this one allow me to build up the moisture I need with light layers that will absorb into my skin and calm it. I personally don't like a mattifying formula in skincare and makeup products, which this product has, over the course of the day my skin can feel a tightness and isn't the best canvas for makeup application, however I did like using it as the first layer of skincare on my acne, which it helped to cool and calm, in conjunction with the QV Skin Lotion on top which has a similar texture without the mattifying. This product is amazing for young, sensitive and acne/eczema prone skin types.

It leaves the skin feeling nice and filled with moisture, it did not break me out or make my skin feel oily at all, I would definitely recommend using a cleanser before you use this product and a spf after you apply this product. I would recommend the QV face oil free gel cleanser as it made my skin feel really clean and smooth.

You only need a pea size amount to cover your entire face. It feels very wet on application but dried very quickly to leave your skin feeling nourished and shine free. It works well as a make-up base and layered well with my other skincare products. I have been using this moisturiser in conjunction with the QV oil-free gel cleanser for two weeks. Although I do not have acne-prone skin, I do suffer from excess oil buildup and shine during the day, especially in warmer weather. This combination of products has made a measurable improvement in the condition of my skin and reduction of excess oil forming during the day.

As someone’s dealing with acne prone combination skin I wanted something that doesn’t disrupt my skin overall. The main reason is the matte finish it applies to my face which I need as I really dislike the oily look and looks greasy. It also has witch hazel and no fragrances which I find as a turn off for similar creams these days. I’ve tested it for both makeup and no makeup days and works well for skin prep. I like to apply it and wait for it to full absorb before applying makeup though. It is a liquid formula so just keep an eye out from too much coming out. A little goes a long way so I just use the left overs on my neck and hands.

I have combination skin with an oily tzone and this moisturiser controls oil and shine and leaves a nice matte finish that lasts and is perfect under my makeup. It’s a great cheap price and has a nice consistency that smoothes on easily and sinks straight in. It’s really hydrating and leaves my skin feeling really soft which is great considering it’s matte and oil free. I also have sensitive skin and this moisturiser has never irritated it. The handy tube is great and makes no mess. I would definitely buy this product again and would recommend it

Rated 4 out of 5 by shaper from This is something everyone could use I got this in my latest Rewards Room haul, although I did not order this I think I got it as replacement as my ordered said I had the QV Face Gentle Cleanser. That I did not receive. .I have now tried out this QV face purifying Mask and really like it.It .I goes on well and I left it on as they suggested on the box for about 15 minuets and then washed it off with warm water and it left my face feeling soft and even smooth,which is a little miracle as because of my age I have quite a few wrinkles and fine lines on my face, although this did not get rid of them it did seem to smooth them a bit. So I will give this another try and see how my face looks and feel. It does say you can use it daily, But I don't think I will do that just a couple of times a week is enough I would think.

It's lovely on my face and feels kind of cooling when I apply it. After leaving it on for 10 minutes, I rinse it off with warm water to find my face feeling so soft. This mask never dries out my skin ever. I love it.

The only things that I dislike is the tube packaging. Just minor pressure squeeze can lead to the liquid overflow and super messy before closing the cap. Which is not very hygiene. The edge of the small holes from the tube are sharp. It accidentally scratched my skin for a few times. Maybe should consider more into packaging.

I noticed since using this product my face hasn’t been as oily as it usually is, still oily of course but there’s a slight difference. I find it’s moisturising enough. I love that it sinks into my skin fast, does not leave a greasy residue. Great for sensitive combo skin. I would recommend this product.

This product blends into the skin with ease leaving a lovely moderate matte appearance as the advertising promises. I look forward to continuing to use this product as the weather warms up, confident that I won't become shiny as the day wears on. This product is ideal for a 'day in' when I don't need SPF.

It contains kaolin clay, which you can really feel drawing out impurities and nasties from deep in my skin. I like to apply this after a warm shower and face scrub, so my pores are open and ready to be cleansed. I leave it on for a little more than recommended, but not so long that it feels tight and uncomfortable. I wouldn't use this for super dry skin, as I think clay based masks are naturally drying. So this isn't my first choice for extra moisture and hydration, but it's great for a deep clean. I think my skin looks brighter and clearer, but the visible effects don't last.

My sensitive combination skin feels truly purified, cleansed and smooth after using this, with absolutely no irritation at all. The best part is that it does not dry out your skin, like a lot of other clay masks tend to do.

I find that it is really great for redness that i get. I some how manage to obtain alot of chemical burns on my face (sensitive skin) and i find this reaklly calms them down. I can say whether it has help my breakouts because i have started using clarins skincare and some other new products as well as the mask. And while my skin has improved dramatically, i cant tell what exactly its from. I have been using this in rotation which a clarins mask which i also love

I like how its gentle on the skin yet very effective. As soon as I washed it off after 5 minutes i could see a difference. My face was alot smoother and it seemed to calm down the redness on my face. This product is love!!!

I decided it was time to give this one a try and I was pleasantly surprised. For starters it is easy to apply. Just dampen your face in a little water and then smooth the mask on. I left mine on for about ten minutes until it hardened. Unlike some masks that make your skin feel heavy and taut while wearing them - this one felt quite light on and really gentle. When I washed it off I was happy to find that my skin was not irritated but felt clean and even a little hydrated. This is a really great mask for sensitive skins and one I'll use more regularly now.

After rinsing away the mask, my face felt a bit rough( not soft) probably because this mask removes most of the oil and dirt. Then, about an hour to two later, my skin becomes really smooth! and I like it. but don't really like the smell.

Since last year my skin has cleared up a fair bit, so I prefer a gentler clay mask now. This one is designed for sensitive skin which is good if you prefer using masks on a regular basis. Just smooth a good dollop of it all over your skin, wait for it to dry and then rinse away the impurities! This mask leaves my skin feeling super soft, plump and refreshed.<br />The texture of the mask is very smooth and quite thin for a clay mask, which makes it easy to apply. The smell is hard to describe, slighting powdery, but not offensive or pleasant. The packaging is small squeeze tube which makes it very easy to clean and dispense the product.<br />It's not easy to find a clay mask that's gentle,hydrating and refreshes tired looking skin, but this one does exactly that!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ms_Jee from Effective, but not drying! I grabbed this little mask about a month ago along with my usual QV night cream about a month ago. I love QV for the gentle products but as far as the deep cleaning action my skin needs, I didn't really think the mask was going to achieve much to be honest. I was wrong - yay! The packaging is a simple squeeze bottle and you get several applications from it, so it's real value for money. The formula is like a light whipped mousse sort of texture and very cream-like, which was a change from my usual thick, gluggy mask When applied, it doesn't take much product at all to cover my whole face and part of neck. The first thing I noticed was the fact it felt light, like I said before there was no heavy "drying concrete" feel at all, even when it's basically dry. So you wait the usual 10-15 minutes and rinse. Now I'm acustom to my face feeling like its begging for any source of moisture after a mask but suprisingly my face felt smooth and soft. It did feel like it cleaned my skin out really well, but it replenished the moisture as it did so! I've put this down to the fact QV use Safflower Oil in majority of their products, which from experience moisturises my skin reaaaallly well! I won't go on about how its a holy grail mask for me, but it is so much better then the harsher ones I was using. It's going to be a staple until I find something a tiny bit more effective on the cleaning/pore clearing side of things BUT that also leaves my skin soft and hydrated afterwards.

The first time when I used this, there was a slight tingly feeling as if though it was stinging my face, but after I waited, it went away. Now it's leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft. It's even helped even the texture of my skin :D However, I do think this mask doesn't hydrate my extremely dry skin at times, there are more hydrating masks out there for me but I believe this affordable product is still great to have around and help out when your skin is tired :D

It is very gentle, and doesnt dry out your skin. it leaves it feeling soft and clean. Unlike some masks it is easy to wash off and doesnt leave any gritty residue. I have been using it once a week and really like the way my skin feels. It also isnt heavily scented which is nice. It loses a heart for me just because I feel like the tube is a bit small and I feel like i'm using it up too quiickly! I definately think I will buy another when it runs out though!

It's very gentle, does not irritate or strip off moisture and it really leaves your face radiant and glowing! Good mask to use on days you're looking a bit dull.
