I work as a swim school teacher and am in and out of the chlorine, so my face can be very dry and flaky but I also have naturally oily skin (problem much!). Anyway, I bought this and tried it one night and left it on for about 20mins- it wasn't at all tight or felt uncomfortable and when i took it off my skin was AMAZINGLY smooth, like a baby. So then I tried it after I finished teaching when a lot of things tend to 'burn' my skin- it went on nicely and it worked to combat that flaky/irritation i get. I will be buying this over and over! Best face mask I've ever had (and i splash out and buy expensive ones too)

However, this mask does neither, while being able to purify my skin deeply to make it appear smoother, softer and more radiant. I love the packaging of this product. The tube means that it won't be contaminated and it won't easily dry out due to exposure to the air. The mask feels so creamy and rich against my skin and applies very easily onto my skin. After about 10-15 minutes my skin is always softer, smoother and more radiant. My skin feels like it's been purified of toxins while being given a hit of moisture. A bonus is the price tag of this product. It's so cheap, but does an excellent job

Yet when I use it, even though the effect is not visibly instant, I feel that my blemishes go immediately from "oh god what is that, how long is it going to be there omg freak out" to being on the mend. Plus I swear it brightens up my face after use.

Finding a product with zero negatives is a rare experience for me - there's always some part I wish was different or better, but I am at a loss as to what I'd change about this mask if I could. I'm delighted that it's gentle enough to use daily, thrilled that I can apply if a few minutes before my shower, and excited that while setting, my face feel doesn't feel as if it will crack in two. Unlike some clay masks, the scent is barely there, and being so sheer, I'm not frightening either the cats or the neighbours if I venture outside before rinsing off. My skin is left soft, soothed and refined, the price is painless, and the tube lasts for months. Nope, wouldn't change a thing - it's perfect :-)

It comes out of the decent sized tube a sort of yellowy/off white colour and applies smoothly. It dries almost clear and is very gentle on my skin. I like to remove it with a warm, damp wascloth so it leaves my skin really smooth and soft. I have gotten quite a few uses out of this one tube and there's still some left so it's great value for money, too.

There is no scent at all, and it goes on thick and rather creamy. You leave it on for around 15 min, and then you rinse off with warm water. My face is ALWAYS soft and smooth after this. It works even better if you exfoliate beforehand. It calms my skin and prevents any upcoming breakouts. I always use this before a special occasion. definite thumbs up

And this mask REALLY does the job! It feels amazing, you can feel your skin tighten as it dries, it smells pleasant, and sometimes I leave it longer than I have to just to look forward to that amazing, soft touch of my skin when I wash it off! It absolutely does NOT dry my combination skin and makes me feel clean and beautiful. I love it and I use it pretty much whenever I have a night off at home!

Sensitive, dry skin that often goes haywire with blemishes especially hormonal ones makes it a challenge for me to find a mask that suits. QV Face Purifying Mask is the best value for money and gentle, efficient mask I have ever used.It is a great sized 75mg tube that has given me a number of uses and still hasn't reached half used yet. A quick squeeze to the tube dispenses as much product as needed which I slather generously onto my cleansed, damp skin. When I have the chance I hop into a bath and let this purifying mask work its wonders for 10 minutes (sometimes slightly longer) then remove it with warm water. Fragrance and colour free it only smells faintly of the kaolin clay, safflower oil and vitamin E that it contains and has a very slight off white colour to match these core ingredients. The mask slightly firms over the 10minutes while the kaolin draws out my impurities but my skin stays feeling hydrated and balanced thanks to the safflower while the vitamin E aids with antioxidants. Each time after removing this mask my skin feels soft, comfortable and has no redness to be seen. This is a miracle as most purifying masks aggrevate my redness. My face is always left with a brighter, glow and radiance to it after using this mask and I don't have any major imbalance to my dry skin causing un-necessary breakouts. Even skins texture feels smoother and impurities removed. This is one mask I confidently use time and time again knowing its dermatologically tested, safe on my sensitive skin and always leaves my complexion radiant and deeply cleansed.

On top of that, my combination skin has meant that my face is quite sensitive to harsh clay masks, that are usually on the market today QV has always been a brand designed for sensitive skin, even those with eczema can use their products without worries. The purifying mask comes in a 75gram flip top tube, making it a perfect product to travel with. The relatively runny texture of the mask makes the application an ease. You can leave it on for as short as 5 minutes and the clay will begin to slightly dry up. By then, you can actually feel the product digging deep beneath the skin and shrinking blemishes. Or, leave it on overnight for double the effectiveness I personally love the fact that in summer, this mask helps me maintain a matte face as it soaks up excess oils. Whilst in winter, it does not strip away the natural oils on my face; even whilst it's digging deep beneath the skin to clear impurities. The mask leaves my skin feeling very fresh, cleansed and polished. To top it off, QV's purifying mask is fragrance and colour free making it suitable for all skin types and gentle enough for daily use.

The QV range is so simple yet effective and gentle on sensitive skin, so just right for me. Feels incredibly comfortable as I have dry skin but I do get a few blemishes here and there so it's also excellent to calm and purify at the same time. I don't like very scented masks and this mask is fragrance free, awesome! And a little bit goes a long way, masks don't have to be thick to work there magic. The price is great also for a well respected brand that delivers brilliant results every time.

QV products are amazing!after buying its moisturiser, i thought it was amazing! so i bought more of QV products, and decided on a face mask since my last one ran out. it doesnt have any smell which i love to use on my face since i have abit of sensitive skin on my cheeks and chin. So i am so thrilled that this mask has been working, getting rid of a whole week impurities, clearing my skin slowly and purify my skin as well. It leaves a clean feeling and refresh, and hte clay based mask isnt hard to remove. This tube will last me for ages, and i think i might start using it every 3rd day since it is gentle enough for my skin

We typically know clay to be purifying for oiliness... however, (because i do have oily-combo skin type), it not only added some hydration as well as cleanse some of those whiteheads off my face!!! Im guessing the hydration is from the oils and vitamin E... I was so pleased, I rushed out to buy myself a big bottle :D

This makes using just one mask on my whole face a hard task, but QV has managed to produce a prodcut which makes this possible. The Purifying Mask has a clay base (which my oily skin loves) and gives me a deep cleanse. It also contains some lovely oils (which my dry skin loves) leaving my face soft and supple. After I use this mask my skin feels clean, smooth and hydrated. It is one of the cheapest masks I own, but is definitely one of the best. I am so pleased to see it up for nomination and it would be a worthy winner.

I've never used any products from QV face before so I thought this might be a good introduction to the range. So far I've been very impressed. I have acne-prone combination/oily skin that's quite sensitive. Being pregnant makes my skin more reactive to more things. I'm pleased to say this mask doesn't cause any allergic reaction whatsoever. This white mask has a pleasant soft smell that calms me somehow. The texture is runnier than other clay masks I've used, but it's still easy enough to spread around the face without dripping it everywhere. It gently cleanses my skin while keeping it moisturised, no heavy-duty moisture-sucking action here: thumbs up! The beauty of this is, I can leave it as long or as short as I like. On my very first application, I forgot that I had a mask on (blame it on "baby brains"!), I left it for more than 30mins. before remembering to rinse it off. Did I get flaky/irritated skin afterwards? Nope. My skin felt softer and smoother. Which means it really is THAT gentle on my skin. On subsequent applications I've left it on between 5-10mins, just like what it says on the tube. So far it seems to settle my hormonal skin. Rarely I come across a mask that works well on my skin that I feel happy enough to re-purchase. Especially from this price range. This is one of those rare ones. Definitely a keeper. I'm glad I got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by clearcrystalwater from Gentle & Purifying For All Skin Types This is a very easy-to-spread, very lightly freshly scented white paste mask which is affordable and really lovely to use on my face all over even though I have various skin types (dryer areas, oilier & pimple prone areas, aging areas and normal areas!). This mask is gentle and purifying which both cleans and calms my skin in one swoop. It contains Vitamin E which I love because it's known for healing the skin which is great when I have the odd spot or two or any stressed skin areas. I'd highly recommend this mask to anyone with any skin type, including senstive, who wants to pamper their skin at a deeper level than just daily cleansing. It takes effect within 5-10 minutes but I mostly love to leave it on for the full 10. (Great for when I'm in a hurry though and want a quick 5 minute face mask too.) It's easy to remove - it rinses off easily after splashing with fresh water a few times. I have purchased and re-purchased this product because it is so versatile, inexpensive and thoroughly effective for treating my crazy all-over-the-place skin. This mask gently deals with all my various skin issues.

Unscented and not overly drying like some masks I've tried, this is perfect for a weekly deep cleanse. Such a great product for such a low price, the mask spreads easily so a little goes a long way. This is one of my skincare staples!

I have always been a fan of QV's products because I know that their products do not disturb my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I'm an avid user of their Exfoliating Polish and Moisturiser. When this product came out, I rushed out to get one! And it was.. Product Performance: Very, very gentle product that does not strip off the moisture on your skin. Kaolin is usually known to be used for oily skin but it is not drying at all. So it would be safe for dry skin too, I think. As for me, I have acne-prone skin and I found it to be appropriate for my skin. It doesn't irritate or cause a break out for me. It is relatively lighter than other facial masks I've tried (as in not as thick). When it dries on your face after leaving it at the recommended time, the mask feels like its tightening up your skin; not to the point where you cannot move a muscle I love how my skin feels after I treat myself to this face mask. My face just feels so smooth and soft touch. Most importantly, my face feels so extraordinarily clean, it's as if I'm breathing fresh air through the skin of my face. Packaging: Basic QV line packaging- blue and white signature colours. I think its reflective of what QV products are like i.e. no non-sense, results-proven products. Price and Availability: I think it is a fair price for the masks. Facial masks are never cheap, especially for a good quality product. I felt like I spent the right amount of money for the amount and quality I received. QV products are selectively distributed and I usually go to my local Priceline/Chemist Warehouses which should be accessible to everybody. Verdict: Highly Recommended! Mdy_118's Ratings: A+

Cool and soothing when applied and leaves skin looking fresh when removed. My skin didn't feel clogged up afterwards either. I also absolutely LOVED the headband included. Perfect for keeping my hair mask free.... and I felt like I was being pampering at the day spa. If you like clay masks I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FiFi73 from QV Purifying Mask I was lucky enough to trial this for the TT & I must say I was a bit concerned at first about using it on my sensitives skin, even though it is a product for sensitive skin, I've used others in the past which flared up my skin! But I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The mask was very soothing on the skin, dried on very quickly & felt tight, but not that horrible uncomfortable tight.... the cream itself has a very creamy texture to it, that glides onto the skin nicely, I used an old Blusher Brush to "paint" it onto my skin for a more even coverage, just squeeze a bit into the palm of your hand and then use the brush to apply it on your skin. It goes on looking white, but as it dries it turns clear, so you do have to be careful that you wash it all off thoroughly. You only ned a small amount of this product, as a little certainly does go a long way. My skin really did look fresher & cleaner after using this mask, so smooth & radiant looking! On the tube it says that it is gentle enough for everyday use, but I'd only use it maybe once a week. A wonderful product from QV, Thanks again BH, I'm very impressed with it! â™¥

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Refreshed and wonderful I have been popping this on my face twice a week for around two and a half weeks now, and i have to say, the difference between my skin before and my skin after is uncanny. Usually my skin feels (and looks) a little tired - no real obvious signs, just a bit of a sallow, sunken complexion. Not cool! So when i'm at home after a long day, i normally sit in the bath and apply it all over my face. it feels kind of cooling and comfortable on my skin - not at all irritating. After around 5-10 minutes i dunk my face cloth in warm water and slowly massage it off - this is my favourite part! My skin once revealed seems a little glowing - and very very soft! I was so impressed after the first use and have been each time after. A real keeper!

Found it best to use in the morning as prefer a thicker cream for the evening. Didn't pill under sunscreen either which was a plus. Didn't find an increase in acne or irritation. Can have an increase in eczema with winter so pleased that this hasn't occurred with new product trialling. As with the wash liked most of the ingredients. Personally not a fan of witch hazel as can find it really drying so it's inclusion isn't a positive for me.

The cream is super light, almost water like on the skin. Due to the texture, you wouldn't think that it would do as much as it does, however has maximum impact when producing moistureback to my skin. My skin was left feeling beautifully soft and supple after use. A great affordable product that will last a while due to the fact that you don't need to use too much of this. Hydrates the skin and is gentle on sensitive skin. I have rosacea so it worked well and didn't cause any irritations. It has a nice consistency and texture. Skin absorbs it quite fast. No scent either (added bonus!) Like the cleanser, I had the same issue that it contained parabens. As I have said on many occasions, I mostly use products that are paraben free. Though I appreciate that this moisturiser worked quite well on my picky sensitive skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by aymeteresa from Great finish on the skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The QV Oil Free Moisturiser is a great product that I have really enjoyed using. It is very lightweight and is easily spreadable. I love that it has no scent and is non-irritating for my dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin. It sinks in well and makes the skin look very nice. On days where I had the heater running I found that it was best to apply two layers to increase hydration and ensure that my skin did not get dry to the point of an eczema flare. This is typical for me in the winter though. The moisturiser worked well with my other skincare products (serums and sunscreen), and it did not cause any pilling or abnormal finishes with my makeup. The QV Oil Free Moisturiser dries down to a shine-free finish, and made my skin look matte/natural without looking or feeling dry. This would be a great standalone moisturiser for the warm weather or summer months, but may not be enough if you get very dry in the winter. It worked well in terms of hydration with my serums, but may not have been enough if I had have used it alone. Overall I very much like the moisturiser and will continue to use it.

It is really easy to use the tube and get out the amount you need each time. It is a very light moisturiser and goes on very easily. My only downside is that my skin has been more dry recently because of the cold weather and I sometimes found that it was not hydrating enough for my skin. I think it would be better for me in summer when I don't need as much hydration. However, I can imagine for more oily skin types it would probably be more ideal. It didn't irritate my skin at all and was very easy to apply and rub in.
