Designed to be used as both a facial cleanser and make-up remover, Toleriane Dermo Cleanser 200mL can be rinsed off or removed with cotton or tissue. Gently cleanses the face and effectively removes makeup. Toleriane Dermo Cleanser has a soft, fluid milky and nourishing texture. With La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water. Directions

Pat on, massaging in a circular motion, with fingertips, then carefully wipe off using a cotton ball/pad, taking care not to rub. Rinsing with water is optional.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A nice gentle cleanser, however did not removed eye make-up well, and it wasn't even waterproof mascara. I had to use another cleanser for that. It would be a nice morning cleanser, but I feel it wouldn't be enough to remove all the grime from your day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like the creamy texture of this skin and that it left it fewlic smooth and moisturised. I did however find that it didn't remove my eyeliner or mascara so I needed to use another make up remover first then this product to cleanse with. Since using this cleanser I have had a noticable reduction in redness and my skin is not as dry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would definitely say this cleanser is a morning cleanse, or second cleanse at night. It was gentle and soothing for my sensitive skin and left it feeling smooth and clean. However, it did not work very well in taking off my makeup. I used it more as a morning cleanse, or second cleanse after removing my makeup with another product, and it worked great for this purpose. Would recommend for someone who likes to double cleanse or who does not wear makeup.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked this cleanser. it was gentle but effective. \nI always micella water my makeup off first so it didn't need to work to hard to make my skin feel and look clean.\nIt is a little thick, but I like that, i hate when you have to quickly get it on your skin before it slips through your fingers.\nI don't think it really controlled the oil in my skin at all.\nI used a MIA brush with it and found that to be a good combo. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product was very gentle on my skin and left it soft and smooth. Unfortunately, it did not effectively remove my makeup and my skin felt like it needed a second clean. I think this would be lovely to use after cleansing with a gel cleanser. It made my skin feel nice, soft and hydrated and didn't leave it irritated or red. I think I just need something a bit more heavy duty for a cleanser at the end of the day!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This cleanser has a very creamy milky texture and doesn’t have any strong smell. It is very gentle which is very good for sensitive skin and  I didn’t have any irritation when using it ! I love this brand and have tried many products of this brand before but  I personally won’t buy this particular product in future. When I pick a cleanser for my skin I prefer more foamy texture rather than creamy so that I can wash it off and see immediate results and I don’t really like the idea of leaving it on the skin if you wish. I don’t think this product will work well on the skin with heavy make up on. It works best on a make free face or minimal make up. \nAs a face cleanser I don’t find it very effective but I admit that it probably will be very good for people with very sensitive or dry skin as it doesn’t contain any strong chemicals or artificial ingredients. As for myself after using this cleanser it didn’t leave my face feeling clean so I can’t really recommend  it for people wearing make up everyday. But definitely will highly recommend it to people with extra sensitive skin or sun damaged skin  or suffering from any irritations. \n

I generally prefer foaming cleansers, however, I was excited to try this product.\n\nFirst off, this product is quite liquidly and more of a liquid cream consistency. It did not have a strong scent which I appreciated, however, I did find actually using the product a bit hard to control when I was in the shower (typically where I cleanse and take my make up off). This cleanser performed well in terms of providing a gentle and moisturising cleanser that did not leave your skin feeling like it had been scrubbed. However, I also found this was a slight disappointment at the same time, as it did not really feel like my skin had been cleaned from make up residue etc. \n\nIt would definitely be great for anyone looking for a "second round" cleanser for those who want to restore some calm/moisture to their skin after using a foaming cleanser. However, I would only recommend this cleanser by itself when you have no make up on already. \n\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think I have to start by saying that I generally do not prefer cleansing milks so I might be a little biased. The plus points for this Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser is that it has a really gentle, non-irritating and unscented formula that comes in a decent 200 mL plastic bottle with a cap. I do notice that it leaves a thin film after wiping it off or washing it off so I usually follow up with a gentle foam cleanser since it is summer and I don't really want a layer sitting on my skin. I tried using it to remove makeup but, similar to other cleansing milks, I did not feel like it did a good job at removing all the makeup. I always wear sunscreen underneath my makeup so I need a makeup remover that effectively removes all the makeup, dirt and sunscreen at the end of the day. It definitely did not sting or irritate my skin and eyes or leave my skin feeling tight afterwards, but I always find some makeup residue when wiping my face with a cotton pad soaked in toner. I do prefer it as my morning cleanser, just something gentle, non-irritating, that refreshes the skin but I do need a more heavy duty makeup remover at the end of the day. I have combination-oily, sensitive skin so I'm just not a huge fan of this product and would not repurchase it for myself.  If you have very sensitive skin and don't wear much makeup, I think this Dermo-Cleanser will be more suitable for you since La Roche Posay does amazing products for dry, irritated skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This cleanser is very gentle and soothing. I felt I had to use a flannel to remove it otherwise my face wouldn’t feel completely clean, as it is so gentle. The packaging could have been better, sometimes I found it difficult to open the cap at the top. Overall a nice cleanser, but not life changing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from While I did not experience any major issue when using the product itself, I am afraid I had the Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser was just as good as any cheaper cleanser.\nThe bottle was a bit inconvenient to use (a bit hard) and while the product was pleasant to use and the fragrance subtle, I did not try to remove make up (just clean the skin at the end of the day) so cannot comment on its ability to do so.\nNot worth the investment as far as I am concerned.\n

It was also an excellent cleansing option on days where my skin was irritated or particularly dry due to the weather as it's so gentle and leaves a moisturizing film on the face.\n The problem I had with this cleanser however, is that it didn't effectively remove my makeup as the product claims, even when I cleansed twice. As someone who wears makeup 5-6 days of the week, this unfortunately rules it out as a regular cleanser for me. \nI would recommend this cleanser to people with sensitive, dry skin who don't wear makeup often or at all. \n

The bottle is a bit awkward to get the product out but when it goes on the face it’s quite nice. However it does doesn’t cream or foam and stays a milk consistency on my face and doesn’t feel like I’ve washed it off. As a double cleanse I might use this first and something more foaming later. Might be more suited for individuals with slightly dryer skin types.

However I felt like this cleanser definitely needs to be used more than once to get the right effect. No irritation however, which was great. The bottle is easy to use however it's also very easy to get too much out at once and should probably be adjusted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I trialled this cleanser as a member of the review crew.  There are two options to cleanse your skin, my skin felt cleaner and softer when I rinsed it off with water.  This cleanser is suited to my sensitive skin, was gentle around the eye area and removed my BB Cream easily when wiped off with a cotton pad.  It is fragrance free and kept my skin hydrated.  My skin was clearer and softer after using this. This is great to use as an everyday cleanser for people with sensitive skin but I wouldn't rely on it to remove makeup.

I typically like gel cleansers because I have oily skin, and after using this cleanser my skin still felt really oily. I ended up giving it to my partner to use as he has dry skin and he loved it, and he found it left his skin really soft.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This gentle cleanser is very light and easy on the skin, which makes it suitable for sensitive skin. It doesn't cause dryness or irritation or any break outs. It works well when used on makeup-free skin, however it wasn't strong enough to remove makeup. After using this cleanser, my skin feels refreshed, but I would definitely recommend a second cleanse to ensure all oils and makeups are removed.

The product is creamy in consistency making it a very moisturising so no 'tight, squeaky clean' feeling here. I found it cleansed to an ok level (made my skin feel soft and clean) however this was after removing my makeup with a micellar water before cleansing. I don't think this product would've adequately removed my makeup so that is something to take into consideration. The product didn't seem to have any sort of scent which is good for a cleanser that is meant for sensitive skin. Overall a basic cleanser that makes skin feel soft however didn't perform well when removing makeup.

It is a very gentle cleaner and doesn't give your skin that tight stretched feeling after using it. It didn't take off the makeup as much as I hoped it would so I did still use micellar water after using this product. I would recommend this product for people who don't wear much makeup and want a gentle cleanser that doesn't strip all the oil off your face

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a huge fan of this cleanser. Reading the back of the bottle it claims you massage it into your skin and there is no need to rinse. I wear foundation and a full face of makeup to work on most days and this product didn't quite cut it. I found that I had to rinse the product and then follow up with my usual foaming cleanser to get rid of the leftover makeup. It didn't aggravate my skin and on days when I wasn't wearing makeup it did a good job of cleansing my face but I did have to wash of the residue with a cloth. I found leaving it on my skin and then applying a moisturiser was too much and my skin was unhappy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm always on the lookout for a good cleanser that doesn't strip my skin of all its moisture so I was excited to try La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser. Whilst this cleanser did not leave my skin feeling tight like some others, at the same time, I didn't feel as though it gave a thorough clean. It was almost like it left a film over my face and neck which felt a little unpleasant. I religiously cleanse my face every morning and night, with a double cleanse in the evening to remove the days makeup. I always remove my eye makeup separately and as the rest of my makeup is quite light, I feel it was adequate in removing this but as I mentioned before, it leaves a greasy feel on my skin. It is possible that the greasy feel is the product doing its job and leaving my skin moisturised but, even after using this product for nearly 1 month, I can't get used to this feeling so won't be using again.

It doesn't work well when I'm wearing my normal amount. The texture is quite thick and silky. It works nice with my sensitive, although I have used better formulas for skin.

Unfortunately the same can not be said about the make-up removal component. While it did remove a little of it, it still left some behind. I think this should be marketed as just a cleanser rather than a makeup remover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser is just that, it's a cleanser for your skin.   The milky cleanser  is more liquid than a cream which I don't mind in a cleanser. Directions were simple, to be used day and night and if you preferred you didn't have to wash off.  I prefered using it in the morning. I would use it just before going into the shower, and wash it off in the shower. My skin def felt soft and hydrated after using it.\nIt certainly isn't to be used as a cleansing makeup remover as it doesn't do a great job of removing make up. This is also why I would not use it at night.\n\nThe bottle is quite think so it's hard to squeeze out the product which means I end up shaking it and product fly's out everywhere so I did find that a little frustrating.  In regards to the smell, well there isn't one really so you can't complain on that front!\n\nOverall, I'd say if you're not a big makeup wearer and you have dry sensitive skin, this is for you. \nFor me, it's not something I'll be rushing out to purchase any time soon.\n

I found it a little sticky and it didn’t really get all my make up off when I did do a double cleanse. I think that it is nice when you’re just wanting a light cleanse. Had better had worse.

It says that it can remove makeup but I found that it doesn't remove all your make up especially around the eye area, you don't feel squeaky clean however I think that is the trade off with a product that is gentle on the skin. In future I would use this on days when I wear no or minimal makeup. The slimline bottle is convenient as it doesn't take up much space however I found it difficult to get the cleanser out of the bottle, you either end up with not much or too much in your hand (would prefer them to be pump bottles like the moisturisers). Overall it's a cleanser that is great for sensitive skin on no or minimal make up days but for me not a make up removing cleanser.\n\n

It wasn’t great at removing makeup. Even after a few applications I always ended up reaching for a backup makeup remover to get the ‘last bits’ especially around my eyes.

I liked the consistency and the fact that it didn't feel like it had stripped my face of all moisture but overall I just didn't find it as effective as other cleansers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to trial the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser. I found it to be a gentle milky cleanser, with no strong odour. The packaging is a simple flip top bottle, which I found easy to dispense. When cleansing you can feel a thick film on your face, though when rinsing I am unsure as to whether it left my skin properly cleansed, as face still feels oily and does not remove makeup. It is good for sensitive skin as suggested, though believe there are better sensitive cleansers on the market. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I give this cleanser 3 stars as while it is a good cleanser for sensitive skin, and it is very gentle and feels lovely and soothing on my face, I use make-up almost everyday and this does not remove all the make-up from my face, I had to use another make-up wipe to clean the rest off. So I would not use this to remove make-up by rather just as a cleanser once I’ve cleaned off my make-up.
