Directions

Use Lipikar AP+M Body Balm as a moisturiser for dry to very dry, itch-prone skin - this lipid replenishing cream is suitable for use on both the face and body.

Apply 1-2 times a day to damp, well-cleansed skin and massage gently, particularly on sensitive areas, until absorbed.

With eczema all over her body we used it 3 times a day, then you can reduce when flaring has settled. Found out Chemist Warehouse was the cheapest, so started purchasing online as we live in country town.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic…the pump not so much Adore this body cream. Perfect for my skin it’s never felt so good. The tube is ok but can’t beat a pump for post shower convenience. UNTIL you realise the viscosity of the product doesn’t lend to settling to the bottom of the container for thenpump to work properly. Summery weather it seems ok but a cool bathroom cupboard isn’t great. Perhaps a less thick product would be more suited to the pump delivery if you could make it less thick - I’d love it just the same. I did buy it for the convenience of the pump.

Seriously the best moisturizer that makes a genuine impact on dry skin. My only gripe is that for the last fifth of the bottle, it does not pump out and you need to unscrew the dispenser and clumsily wipe the product on your skin. I don’t know what alternatives there could be to the packaging but a solution would make it 5 stars!

It has a thick consistency and is a little heavy for my face, as it just sits on top and doesn't sink in quickly, but if you have really dry skin this would work well. For reference I have normal to dry skin. It's also really gentle, I've used this on my 1 year old as he had some dry patches and it works well for him too.

The pump applicator is super handy and makes it really easy to apply. Using it straight after my shower seems to help lock in the moisture and I like to use it again before I go to bed to soothe and nourish my skin. My kids and I are sharing this bottle and I know we're going to run out fast as my daughters love it. It's great that you can use it for all ages too, including for my aging mum's very thin skin.

I love that is it suitable for the whole family including newborns and children. The pump bottle makes it easy to use especially for us time poor mums. This is very moisturising and perfect for winter. No itching throughout the day after using this. And love that this comes in a pump bottle, which is much easier to use than a tub and more sanitary as well. I have only been using it for 2 weeks but I think this will be the only body cream I'll need for the winter as it is quite a large bottle. Would recommend this for anyone with dry skin but might be too thick for oily skin.

While I've used La Roche-Posay products before, I had no idea that some of their products were suitable for babies too! The cream is a good consistency and easy to rub in. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and smooth. It has a very light scent which I'm not sure about. It's a good size product for everyday use if you have dry skin. I probably wouldn't use regularly on bub though (as I prefer something more natural for everyday use), but would use if they had a flare up of dry skin

Recommended age usage means we have yet to use on the fresh bubs but have tried it out on the rest of family. Texture is amazingly silky and feels lovely on the skin. Lipikar AP+M Baume Body Balm is designed to reduce dryness and soothe skin and has been formulated with mild eczema in mind, tested on sisters eczema and you can notice a slight difference after a week or so use. The key active ingredients are, shea butter, niacinamide and prebiotic Aqua Posae Filiformis and Microresyl. While this product is lovely it is on the higher priced end of moisturiser products if you’re looking at a regular use item. This one is fragrance free, which is our preference for skin products as one less irritation risk and allergy friendly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome thick moisturizer for dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was recommended to use this lotion for my ezcema baby as this lotion is suitable for newborn all the way to the adult. i love how its moisturize well on the skin without feeling oily or sticky especially in winter where we will apply multiples time on my daugher ezcema skin. the size of the bottles can last us for a long time and cost wise its reasonable too. However this lotion did sting the cut /scratch skin or when my baby skin is flare up, so thats one of the downside. the smell of this lotion is gently mild and pleasant.

I typically have to use a shower oil and then apply a nice coating of massage oil or body oil when I get out of the shower. It is a bit annoying having oil sit on top of my skin so thought this moisturiser would be the answer to my dry skin prayers. Upon application, it’s feels really hydrating and soothing. It’s a fairly thick moisturizer without any fragrance. It sinks into my skin beautifully without any oily residue. However, it’s just not as “moisturising” as the body oils I normally slather on. I think it’s a me problem though because I reckon if I had my showers about 5 degrees cooler, this product would be sufficient in keeping my skin supple, moisturised and not-itchy. I have layered it with my body oil and it does work a treat though!

My skin got dull over the time and post baby. I started using this product along with the oil and it works like a miracle. Feels super gentle on the skin. I only need one to two squeezes for my whole body. It applies like an oil but on contact with water lathers up slightly into a milky wash but it still feels gentle on my skin. Slight florence fragrance but fades. It leaves my dry body skin soft and smooth. I recommend this product for anyone with the dry skin

It's great that this product is designed to be used by the entire family. My baby is drooling HEAPS and the weather is cooler now so it hasn't been kind on his skin. Using this product has been good at moisturising his skin while also acting as a barrier cream for future slobbers. There's a pump bottle which means it's easier to use than a flip-top like other hand creams. There's a slight fragrance but it's better than a lot of other hand creams on the market.

He has been having a lot of problems with nappy rash and this has been quite soothing and moisturising on his skin. It is a non-greasy and non-sticky formulation that is fragrance-free. I have also been using it on my hands instead of a hand cream and my hands feel nicely moisturised in this dry weather. Frangrence free is always important when looking at moisturisers for dry and sensitive skin as added scents can be quite irritating. I also found that it spreads easily and a little goes a long way.

The consistency is quite heavy initially, presumably due to the high shea butter content, but the heaviness disappears once applied on the skin quite quickly. I wouldn't necessarily repurchase, I could find other body lotions which moisturise better. This did not negatively or positively effect my eczema.

Onto my 2nd bottle, and twice the pumps fails to pump properly when there's about 1/3 of cream left leaving the remainder really hard to get to.

It doesn’t work well to dispense the product. This is my second batch (my kids have been using it for the last 3 years) where the cream won’t come out of the pump at all. We have had to cut the bottle and decant the cream.
