Directions

Use Lipikar AP+M Body Balm as a moisturiser for dry to very dry, itch-prone skin - this lipid replenishing cream is suitable for use on both the face and body.

Apply 1-2 times a day to damp, well-cleansed skin and massage gently, particularly on sensitive areas, until absorbed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OKAY Absorbs quickly though does leave a shine. Almost impossible to get out of the bottle, so I’ve had to dig it out or tip the open bottle upside down and tap it out. I think the packaging should be changed to a squeeze tube.

Almost quarter of the bottle is left . I don’t want it to go waste. Would like you to provide a small spoon , which can get into the bottle for the cream to be scooped.

I love this cream but bottle design seems a bit poorly made...I couldn’t pull out top bit to start to pump no matter how gently I try to pull out... I had to pull really hard and it snapped off. :( I managed to put it back and started working after that but I feel design of the bottle is not good..but this is my fist purchase so I can’t say for sure...Cream is fantastic, it really matched my very sensitive skin.

Since I received a large bottle of these for free (and was pleasantly surprised) I decided to use a lot on him to tackle his dry skin problem. The problem is that he doesn't like it and complains that it hurts after I apply the cream. I said that it hurts because he scratched it previously but still felt that it shouldn't hurt if AVEENO did not hurt him. So now the bottle is put on the side without me using more of it. I might try it on a small area on my newborn too as my newborn also have very dry skin and see if my opinion changes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product claim: face+body, be weary. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin at the time of testing was dry with redness and flaking. Initially I applied this balm as my normal moisturiser. I found that it turned my face into an absolute oil slick, then would pill away and leave my face feeling dry 8 hrs later. I tried applying less which helped by reducing the oil and pilling but not completely. It did improve itchiness and redness therefore in the end I found it best for spot moisturising on only my driest, most irritated patches of skin (around my lips, nose and eyes). However overall I feel it hasn't helped improve my dryness significantly. When a product claims to be for the face and body, be weary. The skin on the face is very thin and has pores unlike the skin on the body. My body tolerated this much better but as it is a balm you might still have to wait longer for it to dry than other moisturisers. It is by no means quick drying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Smell I really wanted to like this cream, no harsh chemicals even a newborn baby can use this. The texture is so rich and thick cream which is exactly what I wanted and needed for my very dry skin. The only thing that let this cream down s the SMELL. I know it says fragrance free but it feels as if I smeared chemicals on my skin. I tried to ignore the smell but it made me not want to use it again. Usually I look forward to putting moisturisers on fir a luxury feeling but the smell is so disgusting and it smells like bad chemical smell. I didn’t feel safe using in on my skin. Very disappointed.

Even my 5 year old do not like it. My mother also has dry skin and hates it. Truly was a waste of money. However La Roche spring thermal water is magic. Would bathe THAT If I could.

However that seemed to be the only positive as everything went downhill from there. This product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin on the face and body so I applied to my face as I'm prone to dry skin as well as areas like my elbows, knees and ankles. On my face, the product made me look extremely oily which isn't a good look. After using for a couple of days my face began to react and started getting red and I had skin peeling all over my T-zone. It completely dried out my skin and made it worse than what it was before. On the other areas I used it, I didn't see any drastic improvements or changes. It did make those dry areas smoother but it did pretty much the same job a cheap moisturizer from the supermarket would do. Overall, it's not a product I would recommend as it does irritate sensitive skin on the face and only has a mediocre effect on dry areas on the body.
