Directions

Use Lipikar AP+M Body Balm as a moisturiser for dry to very dry, itch-prone skin - this lipid replenishing cream is suitable for use on both the face and body.

Apply 1-2 times a day to damp, well-cleansed skin and massage gently, particularly on sensitive areas, until absorbed.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic…the pump not so much Adore this body cream. Perfect for my skin it’s never felt so good. The tube is ok but can’t beat a pump for post shower convenience. UNTIL you realise the viscosity of the product doesn’t lend to settling to the bottom of the container for thenpump to work properly. Summery weather it seems ok but a cool bathroom cupboard isn’t great. Perhaps a less thick product would be more suited to the pump delivery if you could make it less thick - I’d love it just the same. I did buy it for the convenience of the pump.

Seriously the best moisturizer that makes a genuine impact on dry skin. My only gripe is that for the last fifth of the bottle, it does not pump out and you need to unscrew the dispenser and clumsily wipe the product on your skin. I don’t know what alternatives there could be to the packaging but a solution would make it 5 stars!

Onto my 2nd bottle, and twice the pumps fails to pump properly when there's about 1/3 of cream left leaving the remainder really hard to get to.

It doesn’t work well to dispense the product. This is my second batch (my kids have been using it for the last 3 years) where the cream won’t come out of the pump at all. We have had to cut the bottle and decant the cream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the formulation, not a fan of the packaging I have been using this as a body moisturiser after showering for around a month and it has been amazing. My skin has always been dry, scaly and dull especially on my legs and after using this, it is noticeably more supple and smooth. My only gripe would be the packaging - the formulation of this cream is wonderfully thick however I feel like the size of the opening of the pump nozzle is just not big enough to adequately and efficiently dispense enough product to use for your body. In addition to this, the cream is so thick that despite still having a good 1/3 of it remaining in the bottle, it no longer is able to be pumped through the dispenser as it just sits on the inside walls of the bottle and does not settle at the base to be pumped out. As a result, you have to forcefully shake it upside down and awkwardly scoop the remaining product out with your finger. For a lazy consumer such as myself, the ease of use is quite important to me and I am now searching for other alternatives with more accessible packaging.

I have pretty dry skin overall and have been applying this to my arms and legs ever since receiving the product, the results are amazing in smoothing the surface. It's quick-absorbing and the skin still feels quite soft and moist up in the following morning. There is not much fragrance in the product, which I believe makes it a more gentle and friendly option for sensitive skin. Though I love the pump design, sometimes I find it hard to push down quickly and get some product out of a rush, but that doesn't affect my opinion towards this as a great product. I also asked my mum to try out the product - she has very dry heels (sometimes a bit flakey), she finds that this product did help to soothe the flakes and add more hydration into the skin. I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a fragrance-free body balm during this season (autumn/winter), it's a quick treat for the body after a shower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] La Roche-Posay is one of the few brands dermatologist recommended for sensitive and eczema prone skin so I was very exited to try it. Coming in to winter my skin was in dire need of a little TLC and has been a little dehydrated and dry. First impressions were a thick lotion with no scent - my personal favourites as I hate it when my lotion runs away from me and when a lotion clashed with my perfume. A little goes quite a long way and was easy to run in so I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully the bottle would last a little while. It’s a little slick when on the skin and takes a little time to absorb completely. Leaves a slight sheen on the skin also. But I would say this is less slick and less sheen than many other moisturisers I have tried. Skin feel so nice on application, almost like an immediate hydration hit! The packaging says for use from babies to adults but I only tried the product on myself. Apparently it is for use for face and body, however I think it would be too heavy for daily and normal face use, maybe as a face moisture mask but I think that would be all I would use it for with a thorough cleanse off afterwards. All in all a great product for dry, itchy and sensitive skin! I will buy another when this bottle runs out.

It is soothing on my itchy, sensitive, dry skin and didn’t exacerbate the skin irritation and helped to alleviate the discomfort. A little goes a long way with this cream, as it is so rich. There is a mild scent which reminds me of latex gloves but nothing too offensive. I like the packaging and pump system, it sits nicely atop my bathroom counter and doesn’t take up much space due to the sleek cylinder design. I have found this balm to be more effective than my previous hand and body sensitive skin moisturiser and would repurchase this product in the future.

And this moisturiser doesn't disappoint. The great thing is that it's actually a balm and not a full on moisturiser, so you don't have to wait 10 minutes until you can put your clothes on. It's very nourishing yet light, goes on smoothly and I could see resultes within couple of days. I have very sensitive, dry skin and the balm didn't irritate my skin at all and kept it lush. The only downside is the smell, which is a bit iffy, but I guess it's just the medical aspect of it. Would highly recommend the body balm for anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

It is a thick consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly and effortlessly. The bottle is a great size and I love that it has a pump for easy application. My only issue with this body balm is the smell - I found that it smells quite similar to bug spray so I'm unable to use it on my chest as that is all I can smell. I would definitely recommend this body balm for those with dry skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had sensitive skin my whole life and have also had eczema breakouts since I was 4 and this moisturizer is amazing for those skin types! There is no fragrance which I really like because that can sometimes set off sensitive skin. The cream is easy to apply and soaks into the skin really well. Takes about 2 to 5 mins to dry. This product really does stay in the skin, when showering the next day I could feel it on my skin. I found that I could apply it every second day because it kept my skin moisturized enough for 48 hours. If you are prone to acne breakouts I wouldn't recommend putting it on those areas because I found I had a few more break outs after but the product didn't cause any breakouts in areas that there were none. This is a product I'll definitely keep using.

Dry and patchy skin that I need to moisturize every day after shower.This body balm came in a pump bottle which made it really convenient to apply. The balm itself was thick, but nevertheless it absorbed well in my skin. It was scentless and therefore didn´t compete with my perfume.I found that my skin was left hydrated for a whole day, it didn´t need to reapply it and it soothed the itchy and irritated parts that have been most affected by the cold weather and dry air.I can definitely recommend this product, because I also used it on my 4 month old baby who has been battling with mild dermatitis and she hasn't had any flare ups since I started using it.

My first impression of the balm was surprise at how thick it is. This product would be too heavy to use in Summer. It has a pleasant mild scent and is very hydrating. It absorbed well without leaving any sticky residue. When applying at night my skin still felt hydrated the following morning. I often get dermatitis and eczema throughout Winter and found my skin didn't flare up or feel itchy while using this balm. Overall I would buy this balm again but probably not during the warmer months.

Particularly on my hands and arms/elbows. It's also great for the face too. The consistency of the cream is smooth yet thick enough to lather on body. While using it daily, I've noticed my skin has looked less flaky and felt more hydrated than before. The bottle pump is great with easy turn/top lock to stop the product from going everywhere when not in use. The only flaw I've noted with this is that I wished it had a nicer scent. Still would recommend this product for those who are looking for dry skin-soothing treatment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OKAY Absorbs quickly though does leave a shine. Almost impossible to get out of the bottle, so I’ve had to dig it out or tip the open bottle upside down and tap it out. I think the packaging should be changed to a squeeze tube.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product bad design I bought your Lipikar moisturiser. It’s very good. But there is a small problem. During winter it thickens and does not flow through the pump. Almost quarter of the bottle is left . I don’t want it to go waste. Would like you to provide a small spoon , which can get into the bottle for the cream to be scooped.
