Directions

1. Wet face first with temperate water to open pores.
2. Apply a small amount of Effaclar +M Foaming Gel Cleanser.
3. Massage gently into the skin to form a lather. Apply gentle circular strokes on forehead, nose, chin & neck.
4. Rinse thoroughly with water.
5. Use Effaclar DUO+M Anti-Acne Moisturiser on cleansed skin to help target pimples and reduce recurrence.

Use morning and/or evening as a daily cleanser. Can also be used 1-3 times a week as a purifying pore cleanser.

I found that this cleaner left my skin feeling extremely soft and not overly dry, like a lot of other cleansers can do. Overall, I think it is a great, affordable cleanser for those with combination/oily skin that is sensitive!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've been using the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for about a month now and I must say that it has done a fabulous job in reducing my breakouts and making my skin feel less oily. The gel lathers nicely & it was very gentle and soothing during use. This cleansing gel is designed specifically for oily and acne prone skin and I do think that it would not be suitable for people with dry skin as it is a bit drying. I would 100% recommend to friends and family\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The oroduct was one of the best i have found for not only cleaning my face but also removing makeup, a small amount goes along way and leaves my skin (oily/combination) feeling soft and clean after use, however it can be drying to use and should be used with a moisturiser. The product is affordable as well and i am extremely pleased with the results

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this cleanser. I’m not usually a fan of foaming cleansers however this one didn’t disappoint. I found the gel to be really soothing and gentle on my skin. When using the product I could feel it really working, getting into my pores and cleaning them properly. After use it left my skin soft and slightly tight but nothing major. It didn’t strip my skin of any moisture.  If you have oily skin or breakouts this would suit you. It helped keep any breakouts at bay and really soothe them.  A little bit did go a long way when using this also. I like to use it as my morning cleanser and my second cleanse at night.

In conjunction with Effaclar Duo it really decongests pores and makes your face feel smooth and noticeably clearer. A little goes a long way too, which makes it great value for the price (especially when on sale!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High expectations, but got breakouts I bought this about a month ago but have only used it for about 2 weeks. I bought it because I'd heard such amazing things about it and had pretty high expectations for it to be a simple but effective cleanser. Nope. After using it for a few days I started getting more cystic acne than usual. I blamed it on my period and powered through, but the spots continued even after shark week so I took a week's break from the product to see if it really was the thing doing the damage. Well that week without the cleanser calmed my skin down again so I immediately stopped using it. However, this product has since been serving my boyfriend pretty well as a simple cleanser so it's clearly not that bad for everyone. I recommend patch testing (like I didn't) and introducing it into your routine carefully to watch out for any purging or breakouts.

It foams well on my skin so a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, this just feels so drying on my skin. It feels as though it strips my face of all it's natural oils which I really don't like.

I'd love to see the addition of some more skin soothing ingredients, however, it is great bang for your buck and a great product to get people started on their skin journey!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed This product was quite disappointing to be honest. I have used this product for over 6 months and have seen no improvement in my skin whatsoever. I even used it on my shoulders and back as I have acne there too, but it did nothing. It is partly my fault as I did not check the ingredients thoroughly, but upon doing so I saw why this cleanser was useless to me. There is no salicylic acid! Not even niacinamide. The only good helpful ingredient in this cleanser is zinc, that's it. It baffles me that there is only ONE ingredient that could help with acne. There is also fragrance, so unnecessary. This cleanser could definitely be improved a lot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is a good product, but not for everyone! I bought this product since I had oily sensitive skin and thought that the simple ingredients would really be beneficial for my skin. The first few times I used this product, it felt great and it definitely did its job. It cleansed and removed impurities fine. However, after continual use of the product I found that my skin gradually became really irritated and inflamed. I also found it difficult to layer products after using this cleanser, as it made my skin really dry, sensitive and it sore. After switching it out the product with another, I found that these symptoms went away. I think it was a shame it must've been some ingredient that reacted with mine so badly. But would definitely recommend people give it a go to find out for themselves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hasn't done anything to help my skin :( I saw good reviews about this cleanser and have moderately bad acne, so i decided to try this cleanser and have been using if for maybe 4 months and to be honest it has probably made my acne worse. It also doesn't feel like it even going into your skin, more just sitting on top compared to other cleansers i've used.

The only thing I liked was its texture and smell. I am tired of spending so much on skincare and have decided to go see a dermatologist.

Within a few days my skin became extremely dry to the point where it was flaky and painful. My breakouts are worse and far more painful now also. I used the product as directed. I’ve struggled with acne for years and have tried numerous products and this has definitely been the worst reaction my skin has had to a product.
