Directions

After cleansing your face, exfoliate gently. Always wet your face before applying Benzac Blackheads Facial Scrub, massaging it in for 1-2 minutes using your hands - and don't forget to cleanse your neck either! Wash off with warm water and pat your skin dry before applying your treatment gel and finish with a moisturiser. You only need to use the scrub twice a week and we recommend that you only use it in the evening.

The natural rice beads looks to scrub away dead skin cells making your skin feel super gentle and smooth. It doesn’t smell too strong which is great for a day to day scrub. Used once a week is fine.

I've instantly fallen in love with the subtle limonene scent. It feels really nice to apply and it leaves my skin glowing! I have acne-prone skin that’s especially prone to blackheads around my nose and chin, and finding a scrub that’s both effective and gentle has always been a challenge until now. The texture of this scrub is really satisfying; it has fine exfoliating particles that feel natural (thanks to the rice extract) and don’t irritate or over-dry my skin. After each use, my skin feels smoother and looks visibly clearer. It doesn’t have that harsh, gritty feel like some other scrubs, which makes it perfect for regular use. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually works I have rosacea and all of the issues that come with that. I also have dozens of very large open pores with as many blackheads that are very old and deep. Nothing I have used in the past has worked and I have tried a lot. I have even had professional extractions done several times and they just do the same old easy ones in my nose because they can’t get the old, deep black heads out. In one week/3 uses of this product I have cut my blackheads by about a 3rd. I have never seen my skin look this good. It also does not irritate my rosacea at all so it’s great for sensitive skin. My hot tip for making it work really well it’s to steam my face over a bowl of hot water for a few minutes then massage this in and let it sit a few minutes. Then remove with a hot washcloth and add a bentonite clay mask to my face. Once the clay mask is set, wash it off and add the moisture back into your skin. I use a dr jart cicapair mask to do this. The bentonite clay helps squeeze out the blackheads that have been loosened by this benzac product.

It has a gentle texture that doesn’t feel harsh on my skin, but still does a great job exfoliating and clearing out pores. My face feels noticeably smoother and softer after each use, and I’ve definitely seen a reduction in blackheads. The natural rice extract is a nice touch – no irritation or over-drying, which is something I’ve struggled with when using other scrubs. I also appreciate that it’s dermatologically tested and designed for breakout-prone skin. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it doesn’t give instant results – you do need to be consistent with using it twice a week to really see the difference. But overall, it’s a solid, reliable product that I’ll continue using!
