Directions

My eyelashes look so fly and huge, makes my eyes stand out so well. \nAlso, I love that this has the built-in excess wiper that way I don't have worry about wasting precious mascara elixar and good riddens to clumpy eyelashes. \n

I really did like the tool inside the tube that wiped off the excess mascara off the wand as you draw it out of the tube, and I did find that the mascara did not clump as I applied it however I found the formula too "wet" and whenever I blinked while waiting for it to dry it transferred onto my cheeks and above my eye (not ideal when you have just finished your makeup). The formula was not overly volumising either. Nothing special in my opinion. I don't like waterproof mascara (too hard to take off with just water) but this type of mascara is the reason I turned away from regular mascara. I certainly will not be buying this again, I'll stick with my Estee Lauder mascara.

It definitely defines the lashes and goes on smoothly. The negatives are after a couple of hours it crumbles and leaves particles under your eyes. It's also not waterproof, I think everyone likes a waterproof mascara you never know when you'll get cought in a shower or end up crying lol. To create the look on the box you need a lot of other eye makeup which can be done with this mascara, but not with just useing the mascara on its own. I do like that it can create a natural look for everyday use too.

Personally for me it wasn't enough volume, but was great quality. It lasted all day even in the hot North Queensland sun. Was easy to apply and remove. It doesn't smudge which is great.

It fulfilled the full part but not the long, after a few application on the eyelashes, my eyelashes were still short. Overall, this mascara stays on all day and it does not smudge!

The formula provided some lengthening but lacked volume. The colour payoff was good. It did last for 12 hours with out any smudging which is a bonus as I do have oily eye lids. Overall, it was a good mascara but not my favourite one.

I must say I was very impressed with how light the wand was and how easily it glided through my lashes - it is definitely great for separating lashes and for creating dramatic length. However I still found I had to use another mascara for volume as my lashes looked too spidery using just this one alone. I did also find that it ended up a little smudgy/gave me panda eyes by the end of the day. Easily removed using face wipes. I think if you just want an everyday mascara to accentuate your lashes this one is lightweight and good for length, but if you want bolder lashes I'd suggest trying the l'oreal paradise mascara instead.

Even after application, I could smell a sunscreen-esque scent for hours. As a contact lens wearer, the one thing I look for when I buy a mascara is it's ease of washing off after wear, and this is what this mascara provides. Not sure I would purchase this product in the future, but I will give the rest of the tube a chance and make my decision from there.

It does lengthen the lashes but i found it had little colour payoff and did not add any thickness to my lashes. I also found it a little strange for the mascara to have a strong scent and i could smell this up to an hour later which was off putting. I wouldn’t recommend this.

Wand is a good length and I also liked the size and shape of the brush. Smell reminded me a little of sunscreen and I found that there was some clumping on the outter ends of my lashes. I also found that there was some smudging/panda eye into the day. Apart from that it did a good job at volumizing my lashes and making them stand out and look fuller. mascara was easy to clean off using micellar cleansing milk. Not sure if I would purchase but I believe it would be a mascara favourite for others purely by personal preference.

I found it a bit difficult to build volume especially at the base of my lashes. The major downside of this mascara is how easily it washes off. I splashed my face with water and I had it running down my face. Big no no for me when it comes to mascara. Pro could be that it comes off easily if that's what you like.

My lashes looked stringy and spider like, really long but not what I look for in a mascara. This type of brush isn’t my fav either. \nIt does wear well, no fall through out the day which is great.\nBonus points also for how easily it washes off.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by Katharine W. from I normally love L’Oréal mascaras, this one was great in a lot of aspects. \nThe colour is a super rich pigmented black. \nIt gives my lashes a great coating and makes them look really nice and thick.\nUnfortunately it didn’t hold the curl on my lashes. Everything else was amazing but no matter what I tried with curling my lashes (curling one at a time then applying mascara immediately, warming up the curler) it just didn’t hold up. \nIt didn’t transfer and wore really well so I think if you have naturally curled lashes this would be an amazing option. \n

However, I have incredibly straight eyelashes and always have to curl them heaps or rely on lash lifts. With that said, I do need a mascara that is lightweight enough that it wont cause my lashes to be weighed down and go straight. I'm not sure if this mascara is the best for that...

It has a rubber wand with lots of bristles close together which gives great definition to your lashes. Formula is not too wet or dry and can be easily layered without any clumps. For me, it gives average volume with not much length. Probably won't repurchase as there are cheaper and better mascaras out there.

Therefore this will be a first impressions review.\n\nFirst of all, I have enjoyed using L'Oreal mascaras in the past. This one had the same style of packaging as other mascara from the brand. The brush is a classic plastic design. Like other L'Oréal mascaras I've tried, the formula is on the drier side, which I also enjoy.\n\nWhen applied, this mascara seemed to clump my lashes together yet didn't thicken the lashes at all. The problem remained even after I added more coats and tried to separate the lashes. I would be interested to see if I continue to have the same issues as I keep using the product and the formula begins to dry out further. This mascara might work best for minimal make up looks. \n\nAs I didn't wear the mascara for a long period of time, I'm unable to comment on longevity, but I can say it was easy to remove with an oil based makeup remover. \n\nFor the price, I'd probably want to pay a little more and get a midrange mascara. \n\n

As someone with sad droopy lashes, I always opt for a mascara that can hold a curl and unfortunately this particular one doesn't do that for me. It's fine as a day-to-day mascara (it gives me more of a natural look), but overall it's a little underwhelming and not one I can see myself reaching for a whole lot. It's good but not great.

Unfortunately, this one was not a big hit with me. \nFirst, the positives: \nI absolutely love the brush and the bristles, it is my favourite kind. They hug the lashes and make it incredibly easy to get an even coat from root to tip. I also love how dark it makes my lashes - the pigment in this is fantastic and I can immediately see how defined my lashes are straight away.\nThis also have 0 clumping and does a beautiful job of both defining and volumising the lashes retaining a your lashes but 100X better feel and look. \n\nUnfortunately, I like and need a mascara that can hold a curl . My lashes are straight or can droop down further depending on the product and this mascara did just that - made them droop. I do a lot of work to ensure I get a good curl to my lashes - heating my curler, holding it for a couple of seconds, wiggle, squeeze etc and to have a mascara undo that in less than 15 minutes isn't something I can entertain!\n\nIf you have lashes that naturally hold their own curl, this is going to be a mascara I highly recommend. \n

The wand would always have an excessive amount of product and I felt it was a bit too big and difficult to coat the eyelashes near my inner corner. It's good at separating and lengthening however I don't think it held my curl that well and found my lashes drooping. In terms of mascaras its not the best and for the price there are other mascaras I would reach for that are cheaper.

I had to brush through my eyelashes with another clean brush just to make them look ok. They do however look more voluminous so I therefore I give 2/5 stars. I won't chuck it out, but I wouldn't buy it again.
