I generally use Head and Shoulders shampoo with a natural conditioner to offset the dryness, though Palmolive has become a bit of a household name for Australian families I believe. I have used Palmolive products before and found that they can leave my hair dry and not so moisturised. This conditioner performed the way I expected it to, the smell was also of the generic Palmolive variety. I think as an everyday conditioner it does the job fine but I'll probably stick to my regulars and I was not overly impressed with the conditioner. It isn't as moisturising as you'd expect when it's in the name of the product. The smell lingers in your hair after it's dry, which can be a plus if you enjoy the scent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine basic conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner left my hair feeling pretty clean and soft - I just let it air dry and it manages my wavy/flyaway hair well. It comes in a big green bottle and is quite good value for money. It has a nice fruity smell that is a little intense but doesn't linger for too long. I'm not sure how 'natural' it all is, despite the branding, but It seems like a good everyday conditioner.

However this product smells wonderful! It keeps your hair smelling fresh and feeling silky smooth. The packaging is easy to store and has a lovely vibrant colour. Super easy to use, squeeze excess water out of your hair after shampooing and then apply the conditioner! The whole family can enjoy this conditioner as it gives your hair a nice, not overwhelming smell.

I felt that it was inferior and left my hair feeling really gunky however I put it aside for a few weeks and used it again recently and it left my hair feeling really soft, even a little fluffy so I am on the fence about this range now. I would recommend to anyone who is after a good cheap conditioner that will leave your hair feeling really soft.

It smells fresh, and it is thick and creamy, but I wouldn't use it each day. I think once every 2-3 days is good. It also has a tendency to feel a bit slimy as your washing it out from your hair, but it does make your hair feel smooth. I think this would be better for people who don't have dyed or coloured hair, as my hair needs extra care as well since it's highlighted. My hairdresser also noted to me that supermarket brands build up sulfates to much in dyed/highlighted hair, but I thought I'd try it anyway since it had natural extracts. If you don't have dyed hair, it would be good for you.

I only apply it to the lengths of my hair and while it feels very nice in the shower, I find that it leaves my hair feeling quite greasy and weighed down. By the next day, I'm contemplating having to wash my hair again. Some people clearly enjoy this product but I don't think its quite for me.

My hair is a medium thickness and I have quite oily roots and pretty dry ends. I find that whenever I use this, my roots will be super greasy the same day, and my ends actually feel way drier than they usually do. It also makes my hair feel really weighed down and dirty. The scent is nice, but that's the only good thing I have to say about this.

I usually use a specific blonde conditioner. The scent was similar from the shampoo, quite fruity, maybe too much for some people but didn't bother me too much. I applied this from mid lengths to ends and combed through to get rid of any knots. I found this conditioner a little thinner than other products that I am used to- whether that means I applied more I am not too sure, but this did seem to leave my fine hair a bit limp and oily looking at the roots. Price wise and size wise I am sure this will be a winner with families.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not hydrating enough [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this conditioner together with the matching shampoo and I must say that out of this pair I much prefer the shampoo. This condition has a pleasant fruity scent and the consistency is creamy and is absorbed well into the hair. But for me it stops there. My hair is the weird kind where my ends will be dry and split and my roots will be oily, so I really do really on a good conditioner (followed by a good leave-in treatment and/or oil) to make sure that it is well hydrated and not drying out. I did not feel that after the rinsing my hair was particularly well hydrated and smooth. And it looked frizzy once it was dried, which is not unusual for me, but I have used conditioner that have helped to combat the frizz much better compared to this one from Palmolive. I have to be honest, I do not think I will be purchasing the full size, but that it why sampling is so very important, so thank you BH for the opportunity to try it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Conditioner struggled to make my hair feel lush. I have colour treated hair and heat style damage along with fine texture . I found the easy to use bottles true to Palmolive's trade mark style. Flip caps are great for in the shower. The conditioner scent was a great accompaniment to the ranges matching shampoo, together they created a longer lasting clean fresh washed hair scent . When using the conditioner i like to let it sit in my hair a few minutes in the shower , but found it really didn't untangle and smooth my hair after shampooing as much as id like it too . The conditioner is a thin consistency. Whilst i felt the product rinsed off cleanly and didn't leave any slimy residue , it didn't meet my level of conditioning requirements for future continued use .

The Conditioner is infused with aloe vera extract and fruit vitamins. It comes in a 350ml bottle that easily dispenses with a flip lid (that stands up with the lid at the base) and isn't messy. The texture is thick and has a pleasant scent that isnt strong. After shampooing, massage the conditioner through wet hair and comb through, rinse well. I didn't use a comb but used my fingers. After shampooing my hair felt heavy and knotted but after conditioning and massaging the product it improved the texture of my hair and felt lighter. I left to dry both naturally and using a hair dryer and on each occasion my hair felt fresh, light and manageable. Using the Conditioner in the Palmolive range made a big difference to my hair. I would even be willing to use the conditioner without the shampoo. A good conditioner overall, but I am unlikely to purchase again as its not a brand I tend to use, but good value.

The flip top lid makes for easy application of the white creamy product. It has a nice scent, although not quite as pronounced as the shampoo The conditioner is easily distributed through the hair. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the results, and because of this I rate it as less than average. I have healthy untreated fine long hair and I found that my hair was left looking lank and on the greasy side (my hair rarely looks greasy). It didn't look clean and fresh. I tried using the conditioner only from the mid-lengths to the ends of my hair, and this section was left looking lank and greasy, so it didn't really help the issue. Looking at the many 5 star reviews for this product, there must be others who loved it. Maybe my type of hair just didn't suit, or perhaps I've become used to the superior results of salon brands.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cleans hair but isn't my go to brand [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Palmolive conditioner smelt great, did clean my hair and leave my hair silky but not as smooth and long lasting as my hair dressing brands I normally use. I found my hair feeling slightly greasy and dry at the ends quicker than my normal brand. I used Palmolive for a week and wasn't overly impressed. The packaging is lovely and bright but I personally prefer modern white/silver colour scheme. I would recommend this conditioner to people with good hair and that is not coloured and for kids and men but I prefer a deeply conditioning, salon quality conditioner.

The product is white in colour and creamy in consistency. I used this product in conjunction with the Active Nourishment shampoo. What I loved about this product is the scent, it continues to linger in the hair even after hair is dried, the scent is fruity and not at all overpowering, scent lasted a number of days in fact, even after my long runs. As much as I wanted the product to work on my hair, it didn't. My hair is very dry due to bleach and colour and all it did was weigh my hair down and it lacked shine, so I would say not a good product to use on coloured hair, mine anyway. However on both my daughters hair, it was brilliant. It did not weigh the hair down, gave it incredible shine, detangles and hair is so soft and smells amazing. So from now on, I will be continuing to purchase this product for my children's hair paired with the shampoo active nourishment. Brand Response: Hi Animal Lover, it’s Palmolive here. I didnt get much nourishment from this product at all , after rinsing the conditioner out , my hair felt really coarse and brittle. I would recommend this for people that don't colour their hair.

I had to use a lot of product to sufficiently condition my hair. The consistency was very watery and seemed to dissolve into nothingness when applied. It did work to a certain degree but it definitely did not live up to it's nourishing claim. I wouldn't recommend this conditioner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesnt suit my dry frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have fine, flyaway damaged blonde hair and i usually use a very thick deep conditioner, particularly on the damaged ends. ...So i knew straight away when i saw the consistency of the conditioner that it would not work well for my hair. i left it on for an extra couple of minutes to try to make it soften my ends but when i washed it out my hair felt dry and straw-like. i had to apply quite a bit of leave in conditioner to get my hair manageable but still it felt quite brittle and dry. definitely would not buy the full size product, doesnt work for my hair Brand Response: Hi Alicia393, it's Palmolive here. One wash was enough for me not to reuse this product again. My hair strands are fine, long hair and oily scalp. I would wash hair every 3 days. After using this matching conditioner and shampoo, my hair was straw like, no bounciness, just stiff and fluffy. The same day the scalp was itchy, and it went worse overnight. Hair looked dry and dull, with lack of my usual shine. Scent-smell is very strong, cheaper chemical perfume style, and it stays with the same potency until the next wash (I had to wash my hair the next day, as the scent and itchy scalp were persistently irritating.) Drying of the hair was done outdoors, as the scent was making me nauseous (so could not eat all day). Not for sensitive skin, not for oily scalp and not for people with reactions to strong chemical perfumes. Brand Response: Hi Yohanna, it's Palmolive here. This sample came in two sections, which look like they were intended for two uses. I don't use much conditioner on my hair, just a little in the mid-length & ends. I used both sections of the sample in one use. I still didn't feel like my hair was conditioned. I found this conditioner was difficult to work through my hair. I found it much more difficult to detangle my hair after washing & also when I got up the next morning. It smells nice, but that doesn't make up for its poor performance on my hair. PURCHASE? No. This conditioner did nothing for my hair. Made in Thailand. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not an overly moisturising conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this conditioner in conjunction with the 'Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Shampoo' and unfortunately I was disappointed by the results, especially the conditioner. I have relatively normal hair, a little dry at the ends, some flyaways but no major issues to address so I normally use just a nourishing shampoo and conditioner with good results. I first noticed when I put the conditioner through my hair in the shower, it was very difficult to run my fingers through and I couldn't get out all the tangles just by doing that. Usually that means my long hair is going to be hard to comb through after I'm finished and the conditioner perhaps isn't as nourishing to my hair as I'd like it to be. Unfortunately this proved true. It's a bit difficult to judge how the shampoo goes as I didn't use it alone but i have a better idea of how this product faired. The conditioner comes in your classic Palmolive conditioner- large plastic squeezy bottle. The conditioner is suited for 'normal' hair which i would consider is a match for my hair type. Funnily enough, before this trial, i stopped using conditioner on the regular as i liked the effect this gave my hair- more body and texture. When i started using this conditioner however, I noticed that my hair when air dried, felt really dry, frizzy and not well moisturised. Quite disappointing seeing as I feel conditioner's main role is to repair and moisturise hair. It's a claim that this product makes but certainly doesn't deliver. While the formula was very lightweight and absorbed quickly without leaving any greasiness, it was personally too light to properly moisturise and nourish my hair. It didn't provide enough hydration and I found my hair was very difficult to detangle in the shower. It left my hair dry with knots, and I had to use double the amount of leave-in conditioner and hair oil just to be able to comb my hair out afterwards. Unfortunately this conditioner just wasn't for me. It didn't deliver the promises it made at all of nourishing and strengthening hair, or improving shine. I prefer a much more moisturising formula which detangles my hair with ease and makes it easy to style and be more manageable. My hair felt weaker after using this conditioner and I went back to my usual conditioner as I didn't want to end up with further dryness/knots/breakage. All in all, this conditioner didn't deliver the promises it made and was very basic and of poor quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did nothing to help my hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner is very heavy and caused a lot of buildup on my scalp, which it turn made my scalp extremely itchy.
