Some times it felt very burny- not sure if it is just me being sensitive or the product itself. I don’t think I would go out of my way to purchase it but each to their own.

I’ve tried it as I’ve been told for 2 weeks and twice a day and I haven't noticed any difference in my teeth colour. I’ve got 2 veneer at the front so I was going to see if they look different to the natural teeth but there is no change. The toothpaste cleaned my teeth but left somewhat distaste in my mouth. I won’t be buying this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from June 2015 Discovery Bag trial review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to this Discovery Bag trial, I had already trialled this toothpaste via Beautyheaven trial team in March 2015 and submitted a written review accordingly. At Beautyheaven's advice, I have passed this toothpaste to my husband to trial and have written the following review based on his opinion on the product. My husband thinks that this toothpaste has an unpleasant, bleach-like taste, but not unbearable. He has followed the instructions and used it twice daily. Both he and I noticed a slight whitening effect on a few teeth, however only noticeable if you look at the teeth up close. He doesn't have sensitive teeth and the toothpaste doesn't cause additional sensitivity in his teeth. Having said that, as an affordable drugstore toothpaste, it does work to a certain extent. However if you are sensitive towards hydrogen peroxide like my husband, you might notice the smell in the toothpaste, and it can be a deal-breaker for some. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice packaging - average results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Colgate Optic White toothpaste for almost a month now as part of the Beauty Heaven trial team. In terms of the taste, I was quite impressed and found it to be not as bad as other 'whitening' products that I have used. I would prefer it if it was a bit more minty so it felt fresher - but I guess thats just personal preference. I didn't notice a dramatic difference in the whiteness of my teeth, over the 2, 3 or even month of using the product - they just look normal. I liked how the tube could stand up, on its lid and the red packaging looked nice on my bathroom vanity. Even though I'm a coffee/tea drinker, my teeth are not too stained. Nonetheless I was keen to give this product a try. First of all, the packaging is nice. The toothpaste comes in a metallic red, stand-up tube, which is handy for storage. The toothpaste itself is white. Contrary to what other reviewers said, I think the toothpaste is more minty than other toothpastes I have used, and I find it more foamy too during brushing. It does make your teeth feel very clean afterwards. However I do find that the bold product claim is where it falls short. The product claims 'whiter teeth in 3 days' - well, I haven't noticed my teeth become whiter in 3 days, despite brushing my teeth twice a day as directed. Reading further product information on Colgate's website, it says 'for best results, use continuously for 4 weeks' and 'individual results may vary', so it seems it hasn't promised anything really, and this sounds more like marketing gimmick. So I've been using this toothpaste consistently, twice a day, since mid-Feb. Some days I have experienced some sensitivity in my teeth as per the product label warning, but most of the time I felt fine. After almost a month of use, I have noticed my upper incisors have got very slightly whiter, but not the rest of my teeth. I am happy to continue to use up this toothpaste, but I'm not inclined to repurchase after that. I have used teeth-whitening products in the past, which have worked better. Even though this Colgate toothpaste is fairly cheap, but I'd rather pay more for something more effective. If your expectations aren't too high, you will find this an adequate toothpaste if you're just after a thorough clean.

New Express White is Colgate's fastest whitening toothpaste ever. Breakthrough formula offers whiter teeth in 3 days* just by brushing. Goes beyond surface stains to deeply whiten with the professionally recommended whitening ingredient, hydrogen peroxide. Contains 2x the whitening ingredient.** Safe for daily use. Protects enamel and provides anti-cavity fluoride protection. Immediate thoughts on viewing the product: So I've used the (can you say regular or other?) Optic White toothpaste before BH offered this one up for trial. There's not much to distinguish the two tubes from each other when they are side-to-side other than a little strip of blue on the first tube and the Express White on the other. There are handy, practical features, such as it stands up on it's own (great for those who travel or are tight on space), it's an awesome colour for those who like to coordinate, and it's gravity assisted. Thoughts on application: For a product that is meant to have the extra whitening product (i.e. Hydrogen Peroxide), I did not see the benefits in three days. I thought the consistency, texture, light mint and light foaming were exactly the same as the first Optic White product. I saw no change or improvement to the appearance of my teeth whatsoever. The same as my previous review for the Colgate Optic White, I am of two minds on this product. I have done my very best to approach this review without bias and with careful analysis of the results (or lack thereof) over a period of near two continuous weeks of use. There simply has not been any improvement. As such, this can be construed as either a maintenance product, or a product that cannot lay claim to the three day results label branding its packaging (in my case). So, I learned quite a bit participating in this review. I have some personal opinions which I shall keep completely separate and will publish in the forum. Thank you for letting me be a part of this. Would I buy this product? No. You spend more money for a smaller tube of toothpaste that doesn't do what it says it does. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't do as it claims [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whilst it was ok as a normal toothpaste. It definitely didn't whiten my teeth after 3 days as it claims. Didn't whiten them after a week. Again no lighter after 2 weeks. I still persevered for 3 weeks. No change. So I wouldn't recommend to anyone or buy for our family.
