[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These makeup wipes are great for those no-fuss late nights or for travel when you can’t carry cleansing oil. It cleanses regular makeup quite well however it did struggle with my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, as that is quite budge-proof. It also struggled with waterproof mascara. I always double cleanse, so I got all my makeup off. However for those who wear light makeup and sunscreen, this would be perfect for you.

I have used Nivea wipes in the past but didn’t like them as they were dry and ineffective at removing makeup. These are different. They are super moist, gentle on eyes, and remove makeup very well, including mascara. I was happy to see that they’re also biodegradable. The only reason I might not purchase them in the future is the fragrance. It’s a strong floral scent that lingers on the skin.

I wouldn’t use them as a makeup remover, especially not for waterproof makeup, but for everyday use just to freshen up they’re perfectly fine. They have a very clean smell and aren’t super wet so they don’t leave a lot of residue on your face and you dry quite quickly. I wouldn’t use probably buy these again but I’m not sprinting to the shops to buy more.
