QV Baby Gentle Wash is a moisturising soap-free daily wash, suitable for use every day for hair and body on delicate or sensitive skin.

QV Baby Gentle Wash is formulated to gently cleanse delicate and sensitive skin. The soap-free formulation is pH-balanced and contains Vitamin B3 to help support a healthy skin barrier and natural protective properties. Suitable for use with eczema-prone skin, dermatitis and psoriasis.

It is so gentle on the skin and really makes a difference to how your skin looks and feels after one wash. I have already purchased this product in the bulk pack because I've been so happy with the results. As a mother of two, I agree that this would be a fantastic and gentle wash for babies, but don't let the branding make you think that this product isn't well suited to everyone! If you're looking for a body wash that really looks after your skin's hydration, this is it!

Firstly the packaging is the standard QV slim design with a flip top lid. It is easy to use and easy to control the amount of product you need. I found it foamed nicely when using, wasn’t too much foam but did lather well. It left skin feeling fresh and clean without being over drying or irritating. It rinsed off well also. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and their bubs as an every day wash that doesn’t dry out skin or irritate skin. It is versatile and suitable for those with or without sensitive skin.

It is really nice to use this on sunburnt skin, it felt quite soothing and gentle enough that it wouldn't cause my skin to peel. It also helps the skin barrier which would make it great to use on skin that has been irritated by using too many actives. I love that QV is an Australian brand and fragrance and soap free that still. manages to moisturise the skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of a Beauty Crew trial pack and as I don't have any babies to test it on, I used it on myself. It felt so nice washing my skin with this, it is so gentle and it foams up nicely. I love that it is fragrance free and doesn't contain any soap. It didn't irritate my skin at all. It comes in a really small size which I thought was really handy, I hope they have a larger refill size so I can reduce my plastic use. I love that QV is an Australian brand and that it is made in Australia.

It’s great that we can use this QV Baby Gentle Wash on both the body and hair. We added this to the tub with just a little water and washed his whole body and hair with it. After rinsing off his skin was super soft and the hair was super soft as well. He had no irritation and skin looked well hydrated. Even if you baby don’t have dry or sensitive skin I highly recommend this QV Baby Gentle Wash. It’s affordable and works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle product While I actually don't think soap is necessary at all for little babies until they're older and crawling around in the dirt or getting mucky at daycare etc (ha!) the QV products are the ones I would turn to most for babies at any age. They are so gentle but effective too and I trust that they are recommended by dermatologists as safe for little babies' skin. They have no food products in them which is important to me. This is a simple cleanser for everyday use for babies or anyone with normal skin. I'm not sure what's that different about this product to the regular QV wash but they're both great so it doesn't matter. Add a thicker moisturising cream if you've got dry or eczema prone skin, the QV creams are good too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked wonders Started using this (as well as the moisturiser) on my son who was recently diagnosed with eczema. This has worked WONDERS. Although he has a very mild eczema, he would constantly be itching all over. Since using this product my sons itchiness has decreased significantly and I even use it myself. Would definitely recommend to others and will be using this for the foreseeable future including and additional babies! It’s so hard as a first time mum knowing what products to use but give this one a 10/10.

Its great for sensitive skin and we were able to use it all over including hair. It was not watery in consistency but also was not super thick. I dont remember it having much of a smell or lather but it left the children lovely and clean with very soft skin (indicating that it was hydrating and not at all drying out their delicate skin). This product also seems to be quite gentle and didnt seem to irritate eyes when children had their hair rinsed. Overall it was great and id recommend it.

I use this in my sons bath and because he hates water on his face, having the one product that washes everything gently is amazing. I find that when I use it on his hair it leaves his hair nice and soft too. It also doesn't irritate his sensitive skin and it leaves his skin feeling soft, hydrated and cared for. I would highly recommend this product if your child has sensitive skin and is difficult to bath. It is also affordable which is also a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for dermatitis prone skin. Really good product for my baby who has dermatitis. I have been looking for products that are free of all the nasties and safe to use. The washer didn´t make any bubbles and was definitely gentle on my bub's skin (she did not make a sound when I washed her hair and she accidentally got the rinse water in her eyes). I also loved the fact that it didn't have a scent. I would have preferred it to be a bit more moisturising, because my bub's skin was a bit dry and I had to use quite a bit of moisturiser. I would recommend it for newborns and babies as toddlers request bubbles in the bath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QV Baby Gentle Wash love a all in 1 product especially if it is a great one then I will buy and buy again and that’s just what I did when I discovered this at the chemist. A hair and body wash all in one with two toddlers under two this was just what I needed. It comes in a pump bottle which I also find very convenient as I just pump and wash both of my children as I need to very easily. I didn’t notice any smell which I like and the wash comes out the same consistency as a hand wash but only lightly foams up which I also like as babies and younger toddlers aren’t so fussed on that either. I found both of my children’s skin to be well washed and felt hydrated after use with no irritation even with their daily baths. I would definitely recommend this all in one hair and body wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle and kind to baby’s skin I love the QV baby range and this gentle wash is no exception. It has a mild fragrance, it’s creamy in consistency, a little goes a long way. It doesn’t suds up too much which is good for baby. Washes off easily. Can be used on baby’s hair and body and most importantly doesn’t irritate my baby’s skin. We have been using this gentle wash pretty much since our baby’s birth.

Easy to use, just to add to water during bath, clean well and moisturiser is same time. For some time I was using it during nappy changes – dilated with water and just paper towel or special dry cotton wipes. Only negatives about this products- is not very foam making as the others but its just something extra you want or need during bath time.

I loved that it still foamed up yet it was free from any soaps, to it did not dry it aggravate her skin and left it feeling moisturized. Most washes that foam are full of drying ingredients that cause irritation to the skin. I loved that this calmed my babies skin in the first few months when they are most sensitive. I will definitely continue to use this when baby has flare ups, and even for myself

The flare ups are not nearly as bad as they were. It has really had a positive impact on his skin, is gentle enough to use everyday and we continue to do so. I don't trust any other product now to keep my baby's fresh and healthy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both our Babies had tendency to eczema within a few weeks of birth - when it came time for them to start needing something other than water to wash in (Hello solids and crawling!), QV baby wash was a fantastic product for us! Even with daily usage there was no increase in the eczema symptoms whatsoever. - The smell is divine, not overpowering, it rinses really easily and doesn't dry the skin - I can vouch for this as I have used it on my face also! It is one of my favourite QV products - so much so that I gifted some to my friend for her new Baby in a care package. As a Mum I really do feel confident that the best interests of our babies skin is at the heart of what QV do - especially having originated with a dermatology ward request - who better to develop products to suit our precious babies!? Thankyou QV!

Not only do we use it at home, but also at the pools and always when we go camping. Cannot recommend enough. Do yourself a favour and go out and buy yourself a bottle!
