Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Sparkly!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these! My favourite shade is Double Down. It works perfectly with my pale, red based skin. It dries almost instantly, it is not overly stinky and it holds up alright. I don't think most people would get more than a weeks worth of wear. Everyday chores chips mine after a few days but when my husband washes the dishes they last. The top coat is wonderful. It takes nails to the next level, very sparkly. I will be using it over my other favourite nail polishes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to apply [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this & it is very easy to apply and dries very quickly. You only need two coats of colour & the top coat so its not as thick as some others and in a week since, has not chipped or smudged. The only thing I don't like is the colour range, there aren't any real neutrals or subtle shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from <3 love the top coat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the top coat but not a big fan of the polish itself. it got quite thick after 2 coats and the topcoat and tended to just peel off due to the thickness. The colours are amazing and i wish they just went as thick. I have been using the top coat over normal nail polish and it works so well. Having the thickness of the gel and the shine without being too thick that it just comes off. I also get over 10 days wear with the topcoat and a normal nail polish

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gel manicure at home with high quality results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, thank you to BH and Revlon for the opportunity to review the entire range of Revlon gel envy polishes. Firstly, for any of of you that are busy, note that these polishes dry almost instantly. I usually manage to accidentally bump my hands on things while applying - the great thing was that there were no dings anywhere. I trialled a number of light and dark colours and my experience was two coats was more than enough. I did not experience streaks or application issues but did have to work fast due to the polish drying so fast. I applied the diamond finish top coat and within 5 minutes I was completely good to go which is a real differentiating point for this nail polish. Lastly, my polish on my fingers lasted about 5 days which is when I got my first small chip. I work full time and have a 3 year old, so I would definitely repurchase this item considering the quick drying time, high quality finish and staying power. PS: The only reason that I gave 4 out of 5 stars is that the gel liquid colours in the various bottles that I received was inconsistent - some were nice and fluid while others were thick and streaky.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trial team [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these nail polishes to try as part of the regular trial team. I expected to recieve on or two colours, but the entire range arrived! I was shocked! Thanks BH and Revlon. This range has a wide range of colours (30) and a top coat with casino themed names. I don't really get why but it's a nice idea to have a theme. The colours are base and colour in one so there is no base coat to purchase. The glass bottles are rather nice, and the brush head is a double brush head making application so simple and easy, I did find though I had to really wipe off the stick of the brush so no colour would come off that and drop onto my hands. The other thing that stood out to me was the main ingredient is Formaldehyde. Due to the cancer causing links I thought most companies were moving away from this ingredient, and I think Revlon is running a little behind the times and could quite possibly limit their market as a lot of people are not buying this ingredient these days. Application is a dream with these brushes and the drying time is rediculously fast. Normally I need to do my nails just before bed and sometimes still wake up with marks but I really wanted to test these polishes so I did my nails in the afternoon, two coats of the colour and base and one of the top coat and then proceeded to cook dinner 30 minutes later. Not one mark or chip or anything! I was really impressed with this. It took 4 days before I got a chip in my nails which I think is about average. I am fairly hard on my nails though, typing all day and running a household as well as daily exercise so I'm not particularly gentle with my hands. Because the drying time is so quick I don't mind though as I am not required to set aside an hour for my nails to dry. While these polishes are marketed as gel polishes they certainly are not as they are not cured with a lamp. Removal is done with just regular nail polish remover. All in all I think these are great polishes and I am very happy with the results. Thanks BH and Revlon for the opportunity to trial these polishes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Revlon Gel Envy Shade 225 "Cha-Ching" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revlon Gel Envy Nail Polish comes in a small, clear 11.7ml bottle with a black cap and white product labelling. The brush is medium size, the bristles are soft. The formula is quite runny and watery in texture; I found it to be quite messy to apply. I am used to thicker gel textures that go on evenly and smoothly; this nail polish is quite runny and can be hard to build up coats. I found it to take quite some time to dry inbetween coats; 2+ minutes per coat. Given that the shade was quite light and sheer in pigment it takes 3-4 coats to get a decent pigment. This review is for shade 225 "Cha-Ching" which is a light opaque pale green colour. It takes quite some time to build up the colour pigment in this shade; the first two coats are very runny, streaky, light and sheer in colour. The colour takes some time to build up and can be fussy as it takes some time to dry inbetween coats; getting even coats with no smudges, smears or streaks is quite fiddly. Patience and time are a must. The nailpolish does have quite a chemical smell to it, I find it best to do near some sort of ventillation (open window etc). Quite strongly scented. Once all the coats have finally dried (which can take some time, at least 5 minutes depending on the amount of coats applied) it does last quite well. Does not begin to chip or flake for 3-5 days (again, this depends on how many coats have been applied.) I am giving this 3/5 stars as a neutral review. I won't be re purchasing this one as I find OPI/Sally Hansen to be easier to use, faster drying, more richly pigmented and not so runny in texture. Less messy, their thicker texture provides less streaking and fuss. If you decide to purchase this nailpolish just be aware that it can be time consuming and messy; it is quite runny. I suggest having nail polish remover on standby to fix any mess or errors. Having said this, it is not a bad product. It is an okay affordable nail polish with good pigment; just my personal preference that I prefer faster drying, more highly pigmented colours with a thicker, easier-to-use texture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works fine I bought this a dew and have used it a couple of times I honestly didn't see a huge difference in this product as compared to a regular top coat besides the drying time. The longevity and look were all pretty much standard for me. Nothing special, but, it works.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid colour but no staying power [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up in the most recent beautorium. The colour is lovely and I find that it dries faster than other polishes I have used in the fast. I find only one coat is needed for a solid, even colour however this polish has very little staying power, especially considering it is supposed to have a prolonged use. I found that it was starting to chip from the day after so it really makes me question this claim. Nice colour but for the price they need to make sure it actually lasts longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Goes on well and comes off easily [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the dark blue/black colour and it looks pretty much black. Mine didnt chip until the 4th day so that's pretty good for my standards since i wash my hands alot. I needed 2 coats for it to be completely opaque. I wouldnt say this is particularaly extra long lasting compared to normal nail polishes. Maybe an extra day or 2 without the top coat. With the top coat an extra week tops

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the colours but chips away way too quickly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about these nailpolishes because the range of colours is amazing and they actually look like the advertised colours when you paint them on. The application is really easy with the wide brush and it doesn't go streaky like some other gel nail polishes. The only disappointment is that the colour always seems to chip away within 2-3 days of application,. So whilst it has amazing colours and is easy to apply and remove unlike shellac for instance, it does not have the longevity and is always gone way too quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Goes on well comes off too easy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is a really nice nail polish lovely colours and it feels nice once it's dry but it peels off way too easily and I think the price is a bit high aswell especially if you wanna collect them

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shiny [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] tried Revlon Gel Envy a few weeks ago.. love the nice wide brush! makes even clutzy nail polish painters better at painting their nails! I wasn't massively impressed with the lasting time though after 2 days a few nails had already started to chip and once that happens I found pieces lift in long sheets. I did however use this on my toes and it lasted a good two weeks without peeling. So whilst fingers were a little disappointing I still love the over all gloss, the colours and the ease in painting your nails!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great colour and texture, but... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these polishes with great expectations. It goes on easily and dries well, but after a day or two I was disappointed with how much had chipped off. I will continue to use it but with an additional top coat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did not last on me like with others! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of the regular trial team, I was given the chance to try Revlon's Gel Envy, and I was sent, like everyone else on the team, the entire range of colours! They have some lovely bright shades in this range, as well as metallic colours and some with great sparkles in it. This is very easy to use - part of the point of using this particular range is to not use a base coat. Instead, you're meant to use this as a base and colour coat, and their own special diamond shine coat over the top of it to seal everything. I found that with buffing the nails, it made a real difference with preventing staining, so I would highly recommend doing that. The brush is a double brush, so it picks up a lot of the polish in one go. I'd recommend really wiping the brush off around the rim prior to application, as this will prevent streaking. Sadly, the one big down side of this particular range is that it doesn't seem to last very well on me, and chips within 36 hours of wear, and I only wear them on easy days. I find that it ranges from polish to polish, however. This also dries relatively quickly, which makes it even easier to use. This, however, is singularly the easiest nail polish to remove, generally only using one cotton ball per hand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this nail polish and top coat with such high hopes. I really like the look of gel nails and to get this without the hassle of using the whole UV thing sounded great. Unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing. The good parts were: the polish and top coat were easy to apply. I liked the brush as it made the polish go on much easier than the brushes from some other brands (basically, I didn't get it on the skin around the edges of my nails!). It also dried quickly, which was great. I'd been worried it would take ages to dry but it was nice and quick. It also looked nice and gel-like glossy. The bad: I applied the polish on a Sunday night and it was already chipped by Monday afternoon. So disappointing! And this was going about my normal routine where other brands usually last at least 4 or 5 days. I also found the colour a little streaky. I used a darker colour and found that it needed three coats of colour to achieve the look I wanted. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be purchasing any more of the colours from this range.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So disappointing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried so so hard to like these polishes. The concept is brilliant, everyone else seemed to be doing great so I thought why not. I purchased card shark which is a pale pastel pink. First issue was streakiness which I had a lot of. but i managed to get it almost opaque over most of my nails after two and a half coats. after drying time I applied the top coat which went on with no issues. 2 hours later I had my first chip. Three hours later all but one of my nails had peeled off. I was horrified! The next day I tried again but to no avail. This formula doesn't work for me but the Sally Hansen one does. I would still tell people to try it but not to have such high hopes for fear of disappointment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A bit of a letdown [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for this polish and have been rather disappointed. While the polish dried amazingly fast and had a nice glossy finish, I found the brush hard to work with and the colour coat prob to forming small bubbles. However, most disappointing where the chips. I generally go 4 without chips in regular nail polish, this didn't even last two. I also found the gloss seemed to fade after a few days of wear.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not so lucky to win this product but never the less went out and bought a colour and top coat as I really love trying new and good nail products. I almost always buy Revlon nail polishes so I was extremely disappointed that after applying the nail polish, which went on very well, let it dry, then applied the top coat and was happy with the end result, the following day after my usual daily chores of light tidying up and washing the dishes my nails had patches where the polish has worn or chipped. Ok, I washed the dishes without gloves, but I do this using ordinary nail polish too. Anyway, each day the nail polish just wore off and chipped, I kept patching daily as I really thought it may get stronger. Another thing, my nails are usually quite strong with nail polish and a good top coat. This is not the case with the Revlon gel. I will be removing the coating tomorrow, then I will give it another chance. Also not sure how nails will be after using a stronger remover. I do love the colours and will probably go buy some more as I really love nail polishes. Perhaps the lamp makes a difference but the Revlon site is not too helpful in details. That is why general public review products honestly.
