I was quite surprised at how quickly it began to work, after only 4 shampoos it's almost fixed my itchy scalp. It has a very pleasant smell and gives your hair volume. It felt really nice to apply and soothing for my dry scalp. I haven’t noticed a dramatic decrease in how itchy my scalp is, however it has been slightly less dry then usual. My hair also very much appreciated this product, my hair has not been looking frizzy and was quite soft and smooth afterward.

I have definitely seen and felt a reduction in itchiness and dry feeling scalp. I have been massaging a small amount into my hair and usually give it a few minutes before washing it out. The scent is amazing and although the formula feels thick, it washes out nicely and leaves hair feeling clean and fresh. The only negative is that once you stop using it the dandruff comes back very quickly making prolonged usage a necessity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last two weeks I have been using Head and Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner for itchy sclap. Haven't used this brand for quite a while, and often overlooked this brand when shopping so was really keen to see how it worked.  The shampoo claims the Eucalyptus to soothe itchiness and I must admit that even though l expected a strong Eucalypt smell, it was barely noticable and really pleasent. Both the shampoo and conditioner were a nice creamy consistency, not like other brands where you tend to lose half of the product by the time you pour it on your hand and get to apply it to your hair, it lathered well and I didn't need much product. It rinsed out well and was not heavy. The conditioner again was a creamy consistency and massaged well into the ends and I had no trouble combing through with a wide tooth comb, it too rinsed out well and I didn't feel like I still had a film of product still on my hair after rinsing. I was pleased at how soft my hair was when left to dry naturally and after strengthening now smooth and nice it felt. As far as relieving my scalp, I have over the years regularly coloured my hair which does causes irritation from the chemicals - using this product I have noticed a significant decrease in the irritation while still maintaining the colour. My hair definately felt clean and soft after using this shampoo and conditioner.

I have been dealing with dandruff and an itchy scalp for quite a while now, and Head and Shoulders has always been my go-to product to provide temporary relief. I have thick hair with oily roots so I find the shampoo does a good job of cleaning my hair whilst keeping the oil and dandruff at bay. My hair always feels fresh and soft and doesn’t feel ‘stripped’ after washing. The shampoo doesn’t really affect my coloured hair, although I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. I always shampoo my hair twice, and I find this shampoo to lather up really nicely and effectively. The product is easy to rinse out which is a big plus for me. I enjoyed the added eucalyptus as it feels extra soothing on the scalp and it smells great too. I like that it’s easy to differentiate between the shampoo and conditioner with the packaging as I did used to find it tricky in the past with the old packaging design. I’d recommend this shampoo to anyone for temporary relief for the dandruff/itchy scalp that makes your hair feel super clean and soft.

This product is easy to use and I noticed improvements in hydrating my dry scalp upon regular use of this shampoo. I like the smell of eucalyptus - weird benefit is it helps open up your nose if you’re a hay fever sufferer like me lol. Would recommend, it’s a pretty standard head and shoulders product and does the job.

If you're someone that washes your hair every day or every other day, I think you would benefit from the soothing effect of this shampoo. My only other (minor) feedback would be that the scent isn't the most pleasant - the apple scent in their range is delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty straightforward shampoo and conditioner duo – I have intensely itchy scalp issues, mild to severe dandruff depending on my haircare regime, and also a propensity for my scalp to grease up fairly quickly after washing. This product, combined with the conditioner gave some pretty solid, albeit very temporary relief to those issues, particularly the itchiness – but about three days on I can feel particular spots on my head starting to get that familiar itchy tingle again. I’m curious to see how it’ll fare after longer term use, however. The shampoo itself is pleasant and not intrusive-smelling, a good, workable consistency and doesn’t feel overly harsh – my hair didn’t feel too stripped or dry or ‘squeaky’ post the initial wash, but it certainly felt clean and mildly soothed, which I was rather happy with.
