Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great at the start, not long term I bought this after being confronted with so many choices for a razor at Priceline. It was one sale, and I got the most replacement heads with this that with all the other razors. It's got a big chunk of soap surrounding the razors on the head, and a nice thick handle to hold It's really good at the start, a sort of all in one product where you don't really need to use soap when you shave, so it's actually great if you're in a rush. However, the soap part runs out or dries out before the razors need replacing, so it's kind of a waste. The other issue I found was that the addition of the soap around the razors makes the head really big, which then renders it too big for the bikini area, you can't get a good result I find All in all, ok for a bit, but not the greatest razor ever so once the heads run out I won't be repurchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An Average Razor First of all I really like the idea of this razor but for me it didn't really work. The razor itself was OK, did its job but I've used better razor's before. And I found it to be of an average quality The moisturising block around the razor when first used almost blocked the razor itself from gliding along the skin almost preventing it from removing the hair. The block around the razor lathered well and did feel nice on the skin yet the moisturising block on the razor didn't wear down evenly no matter how you angle the blade and the top half of the block doesn't get used properly It also comes with a plastic caddie to hang on the wall but the suction cup doesn't stay on the shower wall and kept on coming off every-time the razor was put in it but it was able to stay on the wall above my bathroom counter but that kind of removes the purpose of the caddie in the first place The price itself especially the replacement razor heads isn't really worth the price considering the quality of the blades wasn't that great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only Average This is an average razor at best. The starter kit contains therubber razor handle, two cartridges as well as a shower suction-cup holder. While it is convenient that it lathers and shave in one step and isn't drying (I wouldn't say it's moisturising), it doesn't give a very close shave. That is my biggest bugaboo - a razor needs to be able to give me a close shave. I need several runs with the razor to get smooth skin. It has a large ribbon of moisture but despite the size, it still wears down quite quickly because it disintegrates when wet. The razor as a whole is quite bulky because the size of the handle and size of the ribbon of moisture. And this makes it quite hard to shave around my knees. It has rubber handles which is useful in the shower. I won't repurchase because it's quite expensive and Schick Hydro Silk delivers a much better result.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept I picked this up in my last Beautorium haul as I've actually been meaning to try this for..years! Ever since it came out, I've thought to myself, what a great idea! And it is, it's a great concept, but for me there are a couple of downsides. I do like how I can just dampen the shaver under the water, and then just start gliding away. It's really convenient and it's a brilliant moisturiser, it is rather effortless. However, I would get out of the shower, dry off, and see quite a few patches where it had missed the hairs. I also found it strange that the moisture bar wears down rather quickly, upon first application I shaved underarms, and both upper and lower legs, and I reckon maybe half the moisture bar was gone! So it's not super long lasting. Additionally, once the moisture bar is really worn down, the shaver becomes quite awkward to use. It doesn't move quite as well, and it misses a lot more hairs. Despite this, I actually found it a really good fit on the underarm area, which surprised me considering the size of the shaver. The shaver itself, is kind of top heavy when it's new. The moisture bar can be weighty compared to the very lightweight handle. So it became easy to drop it, which isn't great in the shower! So, although it is a really great concept, and I did initially love how convenient it is, I don't think I'll repurchase. Back to the Hydro Silk for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love-ED I loved this razor for a while. Mainly because I was having reactions to shaving creams on my legs and found that I didn't react to the built in soap in this. BUT this is a very expensive product for the amount of uses you get out of each attachment. In the end I was getting one shave out of one head attachment and one side of the 'shaving soap' is impossible to use because it is never directly dragged along the skin. So thats just a waste of good product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shower use only I wasnt really a fan of this, its good but i would prefer to add soap. Kf you loke the gillette venuse you will love this as it has alot more use. Not for me but i would reccomend it to people who dont want to lather themselves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dosn't quite cut it I like the idea of this razor and the colour which coordinates with my bathroom ( very inportant to the virgo in me ). I found however that it was a bit too bulky to get the hair on my shins etc and was better for smooth large areas.A smaller more compact version would be great but I would't purchase again as it is too bulky and misses hair on trickier areas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good concept which needs improvement I would like to thank beauty heaven for giving me the opportunity to trial this product. There are some things I like about this product and some that I dont. The inbuilt moisturising shaving cream is handy and is good for travel.I found the size of the product quite bulky and not very easy to use.On my legs and arms this worked quite ok but on underarams and around knees this doesnt work well.I also felt i had to shave some areas repeatedly and am not happy about it.Additionaly because of the design of the shaving head, its very difficult to rise hair out of the product. However, because of the built in moisturiser my skin felt less dry after shaving.Having used this for around 3 weeks now, I would not be purchasing this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great idea I was lucky enough to be part of the trial team for this product Schick Intuition Razor similar to regular razors only but the difference is that it has a soap like product around the head of the razor, I really liked the smell and the feel of the Coconut and Almond oil soap and it made shaving my legs so much easier, no need for shower gel just wet the blade and start shaving. It also has a 4 blade head so it gets all the hard bits, I did find though it was like all new razors and I did cut myself twice using it. Afterwards my legs were silky smooth, but I feel I still needed to moisturize afterwards as I have really dry skin. The razor also comes with a handy holder which you can stick on the shower screen, and it actually stays there the whole time, it also comes with another razor head. I also found the life span of the blade verses the life span of the soap head didn't match and the soap ran out quicker, so I had to use shower gel when the soap ran out. Another find was that the hair got stuck in the moisturizing soap and it was hard to get out Overall I really like the product, it's a great idea and perfect for travelling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed emotions I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of this trial team, I have mixed emotions about this product. There are a number of things i like, however there are also a number of things i do not like. Pros, love the moisturising block. It means i do not need to use any additional products while shaving, and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft, it was great for use on my legs. I loved the smell of the block and the in shower holder. It came with an extra blade in the back which was great. I did not experience any irritation from the product. Cons, Its bulky, it was great to use on my legs, but didnt work well around bumps and other areas of my body. I found the lathering bar got used up really quickly and the blade went blunt even quicker. Which means id have to replace the head more often than id like. The in shower hanger is great, however make sure it is away from the water when not in use as the bar on my first one fell off due to water being splashed on it. I moved it further away from the shower head and it solved the problem. It is not a product id switch to but i am glad i had the opportunity to trial it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from smells great i was delighted to be part of the trail team to try the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment. the razor comes in a plastic sealed cover and an extra razor replacement. it smells great and fresh, the coconut and almond gave it that nice sweet smell. i used it in the shower while my skin is wet. the moisturising part lathered in a nice way and it made the razor moves smoothly on my legs. the only problem is the soap is too big and chunky , i found it bit hard to use on other areas. i couldnt use it properly on my armpits not even my bikini lines. its too big and chunky that it actually affected the whole razor. i can say my legs were smooth after using the razor but it was so uncomfortable using it in different areas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good shaver with great concept but not so practical This is the first time that I use a product with lathering block. Normally i use normal razor without any block attached to it as i prefer to use it with shaving gel or cream. I was keen to give this one a try as i think it is a good concept that Schick came up with. The product smells divine, i could smell the coconut scent even before i unbox it. The scent is so nice and i can associate it with nourishing as it is coconut oil related. Unboxing the razor set is like opening a box of perfume or candle as the aroma oozed out of the box. Then i discovered the razor, 2 razor blades and in-shower holder. the colour of the razor matches with the razor blade and lathering block - good colour choice i must say. It is a product for women, so the colour choice is highly appropriate. The handle of the razor is ergonomically design. I found it is very easy to hold and i got pretty good grip as it fits nicely in the palm of my hand. It also has anti-slipperly feeling, so i don't need to worry about dropping it while shaving in the shower. Though i don't use the in-shower holder normally, i must admit that this in-shower holder comes in a good size - small but well functioned - which i found is a good thing as i don't see the point of having a massive holder - All it does is to hold the razor. Road test time - since the product claims that you don't need to use shaving gel or cream, so i follow the instruction/recommendation. I am quite amazed with the lathering effect that it gave. I found it is convenient to have the lathering product together with the razor, so i don't need to spend extra time applying shaving gel like usual. I also notice that after shaving, it left my skin soft due to the moisturiser and my skin smells nice thanks to the coconut scent. The performance of the blade is pretty good. More blades give better shaving result than less. My regular razor has 3 blades, but Schick Intuition razor has 4. I can really tell the different in the result. I get a closer shave with 4 blades and spend less time while shaving as i don't need to repeat at the same area twice. i also notice that the razor head is movable, which helps when i shave my legs and underarm as they are curvy area. Thanks to the flexibility of the razor head, i don't need to worry about cutting myself while shaving. However, i found that with a big lathering block, it actually makes it difficult to see whether i have put too much pressure on during shaving as i cannot see the area properly. The lathering block minimise time spend on applying shaving gel, which is a great concept, but at the same time, it crete another inconvenience where it makes rinsing the razor head become difficult. I found i take longer time in rinsing the razor than shaving to ensure that i give it proper clean. Overall rating, i would give this product a 3 stars as it has good concept, nice scent, helps to moisturise the skin and lathering the skin at the same time. but it is not so practical at the same time as the lathering block is rather big and cause me to have too close shave number of times. I would take this product with me when i travel as it is like an all in one product. I don't need to bring a bottle of shaving gel with me, so it saves a space in my luggage. however, i won't use it on a day to day basis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average I received this product to test as part of the trial team. In summary...I find it a bit average. Pros - I love that you don't need to separately lather or soap which definitely makes things quicker and easier in the shower. It has a lovely fresh scent and it does help to soften the skin, although you do still need moisturiser. Cons - Its quite bulky and can be tricky to find a comfortable grip. The soap block doesn't wear down evenly - so you end up with nothing on the razor side and a whole heap doing nothing on the top side. Its really difficult to get a close shave and I knicked myself at least once with every use - something I haven't done since I was 15. In summary, I like the concept, but its not a product I would buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient but lacking a close shave This Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment shaver comes with a moisture ribbon of coconut milk and almond oil around the razer head, supposedly to make it quick and convenient to shave without the need for a separate shaving cream/gel. Unfortunately it's not a intuitive as its name suggests. First of all the razer itself is quite bulky and the nourishment bar actually hampers getting a close shave. It also makes it a bit more difficult to see which spots have been shaved due to the cream bar. Also the hair gets stuck on the bar and it's harder to wash the razer head so I don't think it's very hygienic in the long run. I would much rather use a traditional razer without the nourishment ribbon and use a separate shaving gel. Whilst the bar smells nice and makes offers some nourishment to counter the harshness of shaving, the bulkiness and difficulty in shaving/washing deters me from purchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makes shaving easy, but a couple of issues for me... Getting the product out of the packaging was a bit of a chore but once that was done, I was pleased by the fragrance of the soap - reminds me of summer. Using the razor was a breeze - just shsave and go - compared to my usual routine of lathering up before shaving, and it left my legs feeling more moisturised than when I shave with soap so that was great. The suction cap has been holding the razor in place for 3 weeks now without falling down, so that's been good. Now for my issues - the block of soap surrounding the blade is quite thick and it took me until the third or so time that I used it to feel like I got a shave close enough to my liking. Before it got to that stage I almost felt like I had to press down for a close enough shave, but then I'd get paranoid about cutting myself. The price is also on the steeper side. I'll probably stick to cheaper options I usually use and only purchase when I see it on sale.
Date published: 2014-10-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by from There's better options out there I thought the all-in-one feature of this was going to be awesome but it somewhat falls short of expectations. It's pretty bulky and quite clunky to use. I certainly would not recommend it for areas that require a little more... precision! It also takes up just a bunch more space in the shower caddy. I find that if you have a fresh razor blade on, the soap is almost too high so it's really difficult to get a nice, clean shave. The soap will then run out on one side well before the other sides too. I found a lot of the time I used this I would eventually grab a different razor and re-do everything again anyways.
Date published: 2022-12-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to open The plastic packaging was hard to open in the shower. I did manage to open it, with a nail. The coconut milk and almond oil moisturising soap is a good idea in theory. However it is not practical. The shaver became bulky. It did give me a close shave on my legs. There is a small hole underneath so the hairs can fall out. It sounds gross and it sort of is.
Date published: 2018-06-18
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice idea, not great when actually using I have used quite a few Schick products but unfortunately this one is one I will not be re-purchasing. This razor is quick bulky which is not for travelling and it takes up much more space than my other razors so much so that when I left it in the razor holder I was continually knocking it down. The handle was easy to hold onto and the head is replaceable. The razor has a lather block built around the 4 razor blades. I like the concept which is to shorten your time in the shower but this product was not for me. The main and only reason why I cannot use this product was because the ‘soap’ was not for sensitive skin and resulted in me developing a rash which was sore and itchy. I did stop using this razor and started again at a later date but I had the same result. I also noticed that the ‘lather’ block did not wear down evenly which was annoying and make it harder to use as well. Sorry I prefer the more traditional Schicks compared to this one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing :( I bought this as I wanted to invest in a higher quality razor than my usual Gillette dispensables, and I must say, I was really disappointed. I really loved the concept of having a two in one shaving cream/razor duo as it would save valuable time and space in the shower, and I had really high hopes for this product, however it just didn't deliver. This doesn't give a very close shave at all, and the size and bulkiness of the product means that it's very easy to miss large patches, especially around the knees. When it's quite new it's hard to get to the razor blade as the moisturising block is so big, which means that I'd have to push down quite hard to get a semi-decent shave. I've never cut myself with this razor though, which is a big plus. With this being said, I really loved the moisturising block as it smelt great and left my legs quite soft. The cartridge also lasts quite a while - I'm on my second one and I've had the razor for some months now. I've seen some reviews which say that the blades get blunt quickly/the soap runs out too fast, but I've never experienced this problem. Overall, I loved the idea of this razor, however it didn't live up to my expectations

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this last night as I was wanting a change as my skin on my legs is so dry I always end up with shaving rash no matter what I do . Anyway this razor is insanely bulky but I have to give it a thumbs up for not giving me shaving rash and another downside is it did not give me close shave at all .I will only use this while traveling for a weekend .
Date published: 2015-03-19
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better formula needed Its a great idea but I found that after a while the moisturizing solid around the blades would dry in between uses and then break off in pieces during use before the blade needed replacing. Therefore you are running out of the "shaving cream" part quicker than the blades. Seems like a waste. Prefer to just use a shaving cream like Gillette Satin shave gel with Olay.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not pure nourishment for me I was delighted to receive this product as part of the BH Trial Team and as a busy Mum, loved the idea of an all in one razor and moisturising shaving butter. I found the razor itself a little large and bulky, but very simple to use especially in the shower and the coconut and almond oil scent was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately I didn't find this product suitable for my dry/sensitive skin, however, and found myself having to use additional shaving cream to prevent irritation around my knees, ankles and under my arms. The shaving butter also wore down unevenly with continued use, leading to some areas needing additional shaving and a couple of nicks here and there. I also experienced a few difficulties with the shaving butter as it breaks off and becomes tangled with hairs in the shaving blades. I won't be repurchasing this product as I feel that there are better products out there for dry skin that offer superior results. Rated 2 out of 5 by from BH Trial Team Testing the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor for the BH Trial Team, I found almost instantly that this razor wasn't for me. The only positive I could find was that it slathered and moisturised in one step. The razor has four blades surrounded by the moisturising block which inconveniently prevents a close shave. The coconut milk and sweet almond oil is nice on the skin however moisturiser is still required afterwards. Another positive is that it comes with a shower hanger for easy storage and spare shaving cartridge. I found shaving took twice as long as I had to go over the same spot several times, resulting in nicks and cuts and shaving rash a few days later. Great product in theory however the moisturizing block is more of a nuisance than a positive. Price is about average but not worth the product itself. Definitely wouldn't recommend or purchase myself. BRAND RESPONSE: One of our customer service team will contact you regarding this, as this is an unusual response to the product. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bulky and not good value The best thing about this razor is whatever the soap part is made from, but I think it is completely wasted being attached to the razor the way it is. Yes, it is quick and convenient, but the soap wears away way too fast - I only got 3-4 shaves out of this. I would LOVE if the soap part was made separately in a glide-on tube or stick product to lubricate before shaving. It's better than any other product I've used for this purpose. It smells great too. The razor is too bulky, the handle feels cheap and nasty. It's hollow and fills up with water which is annoying. The colour is also ugly. I get it is trying to fit with a natural theme, but the pale brown just looks ugly hanging in the shower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor When you need to shave legs daily, it would be fair to say you expect a certain level of performance and for years Schick razors have failed to live up to these expectations so I really wanted to try the new Intuition Pure Nourishment and give it a chance. Featuring four blades surrounded by a solid skin moisturising block makes this razor quite bulky and therefore it doesn't move with the body. This means that while you will experience a lovely hydrating film across skin, the blades are tucked away almost slightly behind the moisture block so I find I need to go over my skin a few times before I find the area feels smooth. When I get to my knees, I become slightly exasperated because Intuition Pure Nourishment struggles to glide around the curves without missing areas and so knees were constantly left feeling slightly rough and scratchy still - the reason why I have avoided Schick for so long. I do love that this razor is hydrating, infused with coconut milk and sweet almond oil but the razor does not omit the scent during use and when the razor itself is failing to blow my mind, I quote easily forget the wonderful ingredients infused in the moisture bar. Schick claims that Intuition Pure Nourishment offers a precise shave thanks to its pivoting head but I disagree so much that after 5 uses I gave up and went back to a slightly blunt razor from another brand which still outperformed this product. Therefore I give this product two stars because while I see the benefits of this razor, the main reason it is purchased is for its shaving properties which it really seems to struggle with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gimmick I couldn't wait to try this so I don't need to get shaving cream etc & the razor all out but this is a gimmick to me and doesn't live up to the hype. They are expensive for what they are, the shower hanger doesn't hold properly and falls off too and I find that I actually get more knicks and dry skin from using this then I would if using normal soap and a razor. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thoroughly disliked... I picked this up in Beautorium because it's always good to have spare razors on hand. But after trying this razor, I think I'd rather not shave at all if this was all I had to shave with. It's clumsy to use. I couldn't get a proper shave in my armpits or around my knees and while I was using it, it reminded me of one of animal cone collars - how they just make you feel so sorry for the wearer because they can't move freely. In addition the being really clumsy, it is also very messy. I figured out that I really had to shake it out to get the remaining water out from under the moisture block, otherwise I'd get a pool of sticky goo buildup under the razor between uses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was really excited when purchasing this razor. But after the very first use I began to be disappointed with it. I rarely cut myself when shaving, with this, it happen several times. My hair grew back faster than it usually does as well. I also missed many spots and found the large handle very hard to control. The moisturising portion of the razor was okay, but it only lasted one use. This product was all together difficult to use and didn't live up to the glowing reviews I read prior to purchase. Unfortunately, this razor is not for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BH trial team review Thank you BH for giving me the opportunity to trial this. I normally use an electric shaver, and sometimes I use a hair removal cream. I've never used a Schick razor before and I was very keen to try it. The most intriguing part of this razor is the lathering block. You can't miss the smell. I could smell it before opening the packaging, and it smells really good! The razor kit also gives you a spare razor cartridge/lathering block and a suction cup holder, which is very handy. However that's about all the good things I can say for this product. When I first tried using it, I loved it, but now I've used it for almost a month and I've changed my mind. This Schick Intuition Razor has many design and functional issues. 1) The lathering block makes the entire razor too bulky. The trial team instructions say to use this on legs and underarms - I have used it on my forearms and legs and the bulkiness isn't an issue, but with underarm area, the bulkiness prevents a close shave. 2) Hair gets stuck inbetween the blade cartridge and it's difficult to clean. 3) The lathering block is a nice concept, but the execution is very poor. The block does lather up, but NOT IN THE BEGINNING. Say, I would wet the whole razor, and start with forearms, legs and then underarms, in that order. Every time I used the razor, usually it wouldn't start lathering UNTIL I finished with my legs. Which means I basically shaved my forearms and part of my legs with a raw, sharp razor blade cartridge. Due to its design, I couldn't have lathered up the block separately prior to shaving, without hurting my fingers. When I first used this, I didn't realise and thought it was a good product, then a few days later the razor rash started to appear, along with painful ingrown hair. The regrowth was about 3 - 4 days, but I couldn't use the razor as often as I could as my razor rash/ingrown hair was too painful and itchy. After the first few times, I learnt to lather up my body with a separate soap before using the razor - but that's no different from using a no-frills razor with additional shaving gel right? This product is nice in concept, but to me it's more gimmicky than functional. The lathering block only lathers up enough when you slide the razor on your skin for a while, meaning it's likely you will have cut your skin before the lathering actually happens. And unfortunately you can't lather up the lathering block separately before shaving. Throughout the trial my skin has become very irritated because this is just an inefficient razor. Basically this has done nothing it has claimed to do. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shaver head not practical in reality First of all, I love the idea of this product with the soap and razor all in one. It sounded like a good idea because you don't need shaving cream or soap, but in reality it just did not perform for me. I did not like how the soap wears down unevenly at the front and then it just becomes difficult to use. I found it harder to get a smooth shave. I cut my self a few times using it, it is especially difficult to shave around the knee area. I actually think this shaver would be quite hard to use on very slim legs because the head of the shaver is so unfeminine-ly bulky, so difficult to use in smaller areas-even ankles. I find it difficult myself with the bulkiness not to miss some areas because I couldn't properly see what I was cutting. Also my hair would get caught in the blades and stuck in the soap and it was really hard to clean it out. The soap runs out faster that the blade wears out, and I also found that if you drop the shaver on the floor, then it's goodbye to the soap block because it falls out. It is fortunate that I had the spare soap block shaver head to use. The soap is just that-soap, so you do not get a huge amount of lather. It does smell lovely though, I didn't find it left my legs overly moisturized. I can't see myself buying or recommending this shaver because it's bulkiness and it's uneven soap wearing plus the fact it cut me a few times has put me off it. I think I much prefer a smaller and more feminine razor head that I can also use on other areas of my body as well, plus I can see what I am shaving better with a smaller head.
