Bellamy's Organic Baby Porridge gives your child a pure start to life.

Bellamy's Organic Baby Porridge is a dry cereal of soft multigrain flakes, that can be quickly and easily prepared with water or baby's usual milk. Made in Australia, Bellamy's Organic baby foods are certified organic, and free of synthetic additives, preservatives and pesticides, giving you peace of mind that Bellamy's Organic really is a pure start to life. A Pure Start to Life!

Use contents within 28 days of opening.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Mixing Guide
1. Always wash your hands before preparing food for your baby.
2. For each tablespoon of cereal, add 2 tablespoons of cooled, boiled water, breast milk, or formula. Breast milk contains enzymes that make the cereal 'watery'. This is perfectly safe to use.
3. Mix to a smooth consistency. Mash out any small lumps with the back of a spoon.
4. Gradually increase amount given and thickness of the cereal over time, depending on your baby's appetite.
Always check the temperature is safe before serving.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

Make sure your baby is seated in an upright position to serve. Do not leave your baby unattended.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Always store with seal closed, in a cool dry place.

I don't mind the taste and I like that it has no nasties and extra iron for little babes. It is a little thicker than rice cereal but not to thick and you can always add more liquid to adjust the consistency to suit your bub. Unfortunately my son was not a fan, at first I tried it a little thicker and then as we tried to get him to eat it we made it a little smoother to see if that was the issue, it wasn't it just wasn't the cereal for us but all in all I think it is a great product.

This was the first food I introduced to my baby and possibly the reason why he eats nearly anything. I would mash or puree fruit or veg to introduce to him, mainly out of our own garden and mix it with the Bellamy's Organic Baby Porridge. This way my baby didn't reject new textures and was familiar with the flavour later on when he ate them without the cereal. It's a bit sweeter than other types of cereal from the added pear juice.

I would often mix it with mashed banana and yoghurt or puree fruits for variety. It's the best organic porridge on the market with added iron and minerals, and low in salt and sugar.

I really wanted my baby to love this product as I think the nutritional benefits are excellent however she didn’t love the taste. It is very similar to rice cereal which she doesn’t like at all. She did eat it but didn’t enjoy it very much. For me however I think it has a great price point, is organic which is amazing and is easy to make. I think if your baby likes rice cereal than this product would be a win!

The packaging size is great and the design on the packaging is lovely. I prepared the porridge as was directed on the back of the packet. Easy instructions to follow. When offering to my daughter she didn’t like it. I tried a few times with no luck. The 4th time I added strawberries and banana and she ate it but I still don’t think she enjoyed the actual porridge. She isn’t a fussy eater. I personally won’t buy it again as she didn’t like it but again ate it with fruit added to it.

The texture was similar to glue but didn't have any flavour. My baby had no digestive issues after using it, but given that it is an introductory food product, maybe a bit of fruit flavour or something would be nice.

I think this would be a great product for babies just starting out on their food journey, who are starting with purées. I mixed some stewed apple into the porridge for flavour and texture, as my baby is closer to 12 months. She ate about half, but wasn’t very interested in it.

The packaging was clean and neutral looking, which I found beneficial as it was easy to identify what the product was, the nutritional information and instructions. Originally I thought it was odd how "little" came in the packet however once you add water, it bulks up a significant amount. So you're only needing to use a little at a time. The taste was quite plain, I was expecting it to have some flavour as it has apple puree and rosemary extract listed as ingredients. However I used this to my advantage and added in my own fruit puree to add some texture and flavour to it.

Initially suprised it has rice cereal in it as well as oats, and my bub has turned down the texture of rice cereal previously. However this one was better accepted, mixed in with some fruit pieces too. Will keep using when product on sale.

It has a good consistency dissolves very easily without any lumps and above all its organic but I wish it only had oats without added rice to avoid any constipation. Otherwise it's a good cereal option.

I was really hoping this would become an easy breakfast staple for my baby but unfortunately he did not like the taste. He would spit it out and push the spoon away. He is currently 8 months, so will try again in a few weeks to see if he has a different reaction.

I mix in some homemade fruit puree, any kind does the trick, and then he's happy to wolf it down. Haven't tried other baby porridge so can't judge if that's an issue just with this brand. Photo is product mixed with apple puree.

The taste itself was better then some obvoously quiet plain for young babies. I read the instructions and followed to a tee but i found this hard to get to a smooth consistancy. We have now progressed on to trying other products and feel from personal experience there is better options

After reading great reviews of this I thought it must be great. I went to the shops with great intentions and I even loved that it was Australian. I made it up for my babe with expressed breast milk. Honestly it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tried. There was no way I was giving it to him. I have since read reviews saying you can use this to make play dough, that shows you how good it is! NOT!
