Rated 4 out of 5 by Poppyloo from Such a great razor! The Schick Hydro Silk Razor is probably one of the best I have tried. To give you a run down of my skin type, after using other razors I generally always suffer from red spots on the skin even with the use of shaving cream. I have found that this can be minimised with the use of a men's razor to get a closer shave but this razor does a great job! It has 5 blades and a swivel head which make navigating difficult areas like the knees and ankles an absolute breeze. It goes really close to the skin in comparison to my old razor which I felt regrowth the next morning, whereas the Schick grows back two days later. Not much of a difference but still a better choice. My favourite part about this razor is the fact that it has moisturising bars at the top and bottom making for a really smooth shave that doesn't tug at the skin at all but instead leaves skin feeling moisturised. I would still recommend using a body moisturiser after though if you have particularly dry skin as it isn't really sufficient moisture – rather more of a lubricant to provide a cleaner shave. I prefer using it on my legs rather than my underarms because it gives a really lovely smooth finish. The price point is also not too over the top and I think the shower attachment is a nice touch – just make sure to stick it on glass as it won't attach on to the tiles in my experience! Would I repurchase? Yes I would as I believe this is definitely one of the better women's razors out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by renee.t from Moisturising close shave I was really excited to trial this razor and was impressed. It has a moisturising strip that is activated when the razor is under water. The strip releases a serum that moisturises your skin as you shave but I also found that it made the razor glide over my skin. You do still need to use a soap or shaving gel on your skin. I found that it left my skin feeling smoother and stayed smoother for longer. I don't really like the feel of the razor in my hand but I tank that is just out of habit as I've used another brand for years so I'm sure after time I'll get used to it.

I was very lucky to be part of the trial team for this product. the first thing that struck me about this product was the fact that that it came with it own hanger for the shower! No more trying to place my razor in the soap dish. The packaging was fairly typical to shavers with a box round a plastic packet protecting the razor with a blade attached, shower hanger and another blade. The packaging was very easy to get in with perforated cardboard on the back. Beautyheaven also provided me with 4 more cartridges which are packaged in a box. They have a nifty feature of being together in a strip which one can be ripped off which can be great for travel. Just rip one off and go! Part of this trial was to use your normal razor on one leg and the Schick Hydro Silk on the other. I currently use the throw away razor, i usually just pick up one of the cheapest so i was going to be very surprised if these were not better. My leg felt extremely smooth and moisturised for more than 2hrs that the Schick claimed it did. I normally find that my legs return to that spiky feeling by the end of the day, but the leg that i used the Schick razor on did not get spiky until the next day. (my hair grows rapidly) Schick was no comparison to my current razor it glided over my legs smoothly with the moisturising serum around the blades. I will definitely be purchasing refills for this razor as I am hooked. There was no real smell to the razor just a 'clean' smell. It was very easy to use and the was it was designed was very ergonomic and fitted well in my hand.The blue colour was nice, a change from everything being pink. The long term effects will reduced my ingrown hairs as using a blunt cheap razor amplifies them. The moisturising serum will allow my legs to get moisturised even if I forget to moisturise them (it happens a lot). It was a great razor however the only tip I would offer would be very careful where you store the razor as the serum is activated by moisture and it all can seep out rendering that blade un useable. that is why I rated 4/5 stars

It left my skin feeling amazingly smooth and silky, delivering a close, long lasting shave. The moisturising bar left my skin feeling luscious, however, it didn't last very long, after about two weeks use, the moisturising strip had pretty much disappeared. The razor continued to give me a consistent close shave long after the moisturising gel had run out. It glided beautifully over all of my skin, and passed the test on my knees with flying colours. I didn't realise just how luxurious this razor was until I returned to a disposable razor, and regretted it straight away, wishing I had my hydro-silk back. It comes in a package with two cartridges, plus the handle and a suction holder, which makes it super easy to hang in the shower. The handle fits perfectly in the hand, giving just the right amount of grip for a perfect shave every time. The refill pack is a little expensive, but you get 4 cartridges per pack, and they do last a long time, so I personally think they're a good investment. It gives a much closer and more effective shave than any other razor I have ever used, and left my skin feeling much silkier. My only wish was that the moisturising gel strip lasted longer, but a silky feeling was achieved even after that had run out.

This razor is extremely lightweight and the handle is easy to hold and manoeuvre. Brace yourself because Hydro Silk Razor contains not three but five blades to give the closest shave possible ... and it really does get in there and remove hair on the skin's surface. More importantly, Hydro Silk Razor does this without nicking skin like another Schick razor I am currently using and this is a huge relief for me! Why? Because there is nothing quite like cutting skin on the back of your ankles and wandering down the hallway with blood dragging along your heels behind you like a murder scene! Hydro Silk Razor contains two moisturising serum strips which are there to offer a soft, smooth landing when shaving and assisting the razor to glide over the skin. While these moisturising serum strips do not fall apart and leave a sticky residue through the shower like some styles do, this moisturising serum separated itself from the razor after 3 applications. This serum got caught in the blade which I did not realise on my fourth application until my shaving session seemed to take a while and the task was taking longer than usual. I still recommend using a shave gel/creme to assist with the hair removal because I find that they work a treat. Hydro Silk Razor is sold alone or can be purchased with three razor cartridge refills. Would I buy this razor? Absolutely! Hydro Silk Razor is great value for money, works a treat and keeps my skin feeling silky smooth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ray_jay from Razor I hardly ever use razors due to the fact that I hate the feel and the result- so it took alot for me to try this razor but I thought it looked different and efficient The hydro silk is in built with 5 blades which is supposed to provide a closer shave- it really does this. For the first time since using a razor I felt like I had the closest shave ever- it grips all my small hairs and my big hairs and removes these all efficently. I personally really loved the way this shaver contains extra blades- it allowed for a closer shave that was decient and close to my hairs. I was not left with prickly dry skin. I like the way this razor is designed; it is curved precisely enough and contours to your body shape (love the way my skin gets a nice closer shave). It contains a nice soft rubber grip which I found really easy to hold onto and get a good curve-like other reviewers have said, I did find that the razor can start to become loose from the holder and start to remove itself. However it doesnt completely detatch and I found that I still managed to hold on tight and get a good close shave The hydro silk contains moisturising stips which on application with water really silk up and really provide hydration to my skin. When shaving with this razor I actually really liked the feel on my skin- it felt really smooth and soft, and I felt post use with this razor my skin was really soft and smooth- different to other razors which leave me dry, with flaky skin and leaving my skin sharp. The actual serum moisturising agents really lather up quite alot- more then other shavers like this. The moisturising serum in this also has lasted forever- its still going strong and delivering moisturising agents. The thing I LOVE the most about this razor is that it is so easy to use, and runs smooth up the legs. I'm left with very smooth, moisturised legs that feel amazing. Plus the results last a good week plus even more. Very impressed with this razor and I would use it again!

It has a 'serum' strip in the form of dots which help to make it a 'silky' shave. The head is easy to manipulate because it's not too big like some others on the market. It has a very comfortable handle and I dare say, if there was a 4.5 star rating I would give it that for sure I especially love the little extras with this shaver like the infused marine extracts in the serum and the 'curved' sensing blades' which are responsible for such a beautiful close shave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Annatahs from Good razor with novel concepts. I received the Schick Hydro Silk Razor via a giveaway on Facebook that Schick ran. I must say that it beats every other razor that I have ever tried but I would not say that it is my holy grail razor I like this razor because it shaves really close to the skin without any discomfort. It leaves my legs relatively smooth and hairless. The design of the handle is well thought out as its soft rubber grip comes in handy when you are in the shower where things can become slippery from there. The skin guard is thick and does not wear quickly. It reduces skin irritation and prolongs the longevity of my use of this razor as I toss razors once they start to give me discomfort The only problem with the design is that the razor head detaches really easily from the handle. I am not sure if it is just my razor but my razor head detaches itself from the handle so often that it annoys me. It would be better if the razor head did not detach itself from the handle so easily. The only bonus is that I found it easy to attach it back to the handle The razor "delivers a hydrating water-activated moisturising serum to skin" which I found to be novel. It made my legs feel hydrated and moisturized as shaving tends to be quite drying. However, the serum is not limitless and does run out rather quickly. It is not practical to repurchase another because the razor is still sharp and perfectly fine to use. At $14.25 for the kit or $19.25 for the refills, I would not go out to repurchase them just for the serum. I will probably repurchase when the razor becomes blunt but not until then. Using a body lotion after shaving will moisturize my legs after shaving but I guess convenience does come with a price.

The box comes with the razor itself with a head already attached to it plus an extra razor head as well as a neat little suction cup shower hook which I found very useful. I was a little apprehensive when I first looked at the razor as other "moisturising razors" (such as shock intuition) come with a very obvious moisture block and this one just looked like a regular razor. Under any normal circumstances I would probably have used shaving gel like I normally do with my other razors, however because it was a trial product I decided to give it a go with the dry shave like the advert says you can. I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to shave my legs without the use of any shaving gel, just using the razor. My legs didn't feel dry at all after shaving and they didn't get that "tingly" feeling that they normally get after I dry shave with just the razor. The five blades gave a really close shave and I found the razor easy to use on all those bumpy areas like knees and ankles. I have shaved with the razor a few times now and haven't had a knick yet so thumbs up for their special protective blades design! I still found that I had to moisturise my legs after shaving with the razor because they still felt a bit dry. It does say that it gives 4 hours of moisture, and i guess if I was in a rush to go out I could probably go the evening without moisturising and do it when I got home... but I still really felt like I needed to moisturise after shaving with this razor. (this is the reason that I took a star off because if they could make this razor with longer lasting moisturiser then it would be even more amazing!) All in all I do think this is the best razor I have ever used and its great for all those ladies who don't like to use other forms of hair removal. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a razor that will save them having to apply shaving gel... I think its a real winner!

The moisturising edges make it feel incredibly soft against the skin, and barely like a razor at all I didn't nick myself once, which I usually do with newly opened razors. I think this is thanks to the shape and way the blades are positioned closely. However, this also means it was harder to rinse all the hair out The handle is easy to hold and the little suction cup holder it came with is a perfect small size (unlike chunky razor holders I've had in the past) I do you think you get a better and smoother result from the higher priced razors, and this was no exception.

It is slightly different than other shaver that I have used in the past The packaging comes with the shaver's cap/cover for the razor, an extra shaver head, and a holder with suction cap that you can just hang in your shower The product has 5 razors, and has little tiny holes surrounding the razors, that oozes little beads of moisture or 'shaving gels' and it has rubber grip to make sure that it doesn't slip off hand when shaving I just run the shaver underneath the water and the moisture beads just starts. The first time i used it, it got too slimy though and it was kinda yucky on my skin. But my skin was left pretty moisturised, no dry skin after drying myself and my skin is smooth. The 5 razors are amazing because it shaves my legs so fast and I don't have to go over the same place twice too!It was very easy to manouver too and i didnt cut my skin at all The 2nd time i used it. I remembered the beads had not really dry yet because i covered the razor with its cover. Consequently, the beads were bursting out of the tiny holes,and i had to slowly peel off these moisture beads because it looked grossed. after i had successfully peeled the 'excess/undried beads' out, i usedit again So far i have used this shaver four times and loving it! Everytime i use it, it is as effective as the first time i used it. Thank you BH for letting me try this amazing razor. It is the best, the sharpest and the less fuss shaver i've ever used. I dont have to use any shaving cream before shaving, and i actually dont cut myself despite the 5 razors. 4/5 stars from me

Rated 4 out of 5 by Thepinkshoe from Best In Beauty review I'm resubmitting and altering my review slightly for the best in beauty awards and I'm still using this product and finding it to be working really well! I've been using this razor 2-3 times a week in the shower for almost two months now and I'm pretty much hooked! The initial pack comes with a handle and two razor heads and you can buy packs of heads to save money. The razor heads come with a moisturising serum that comes out once you have put it under water. I found the first time I used it a little too much came out but every subsequent use dispensed a good amount. It doesn't have a strong smell, quite subtle The razor itself is an easy to hold shape that is perfect for the shower as you won't drop it. The 5 blades gave me a close shave and I only nicked my knee once. The razor head moves very well around the knees and ankles. It also worked really well on my underarms. My skin was left very smooth and I got an extra few days out of my shave when I did my legs I didn't like it for shaving the bikini area. It was still easy to use and a nice close shave, however the next day I would have little pimple like bumps where I shaved that I can only think to attribute to the serum as I don't usually use a shaving cream on that area I found the shower holder was easy to stick to the tiles in my shower and it hasn't budged yet (2 months on and it's still going strong!) Removing a razor head when there is no more serum was easy. You just press a button on the back of the handle and it comes off. Putting on the new one was a little trickier for me but maybe it would be easier to do when not in the shower and wet. I found one razor head to last almost a month Overall I was very happy with this product. My skin has been less scaly and it was very quick to shave. I have only ever used basic razors before so this was a real treat. It is a bit more expensive than basic razors but it really isn't expensive as a product, especially as you can buy the refills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lin_ny from schick! the unique 5-blade system of this razor allows closer shaving and the moisturising strips on either side of the blades allow distribution of the serum before and after the blade touches your skin I have never tried schick razors before, but one of the things that stood out to me the most was the upside down handle holder, allowing the water to drip away without corroding the blades over time! most razors have the normal upright holder and that makes the blades blunt over time i super recommend this razor, however the downside is that the serum is almost on the slimey side, which i'm personally not a fan of, but they are no doubt very moisturising. all in all, a really good razor and the 5 blades are crazy :P

In a razor, you don't need a fancy packaging as long as the quality of the razor is great Performance: With super sharp blades which glides across my legs, I absolutely love this razor! Results: Silky, smooth legs. Because the winter weather has been drying on my skin, I've been reluctant to shave especially since we can hide our legs with pants and stockings. When this razor arrived, I didn't want to shave my dry legs until I had to go out for a party and show a little leg. I tried this razor and was astounded by the result. I love the smooth feeling but also it's not drying on the skin. No irritation! Convenience: Available at supermarkets and pharmacies alike.

It arrives in a blister pack with a little holder for easy storage in the shower stall, and a replacement cartridge I generally shave my underarms every day and my legs every week or so, so a good razor is imperative to me. I have to say this razor did an excellent job. It was sleek, streamlined and lightweight, and yet also surprisingly easy to manoeuvre around hard-to-reach areas! The five blades allowed for a surprisingly clean shave that lasted for quite a while, and the moisturising gel made it easier to shave without nicking yourself. I also felt like it left my skin feeling supple after shaving (and I didn't use a shaving gel with this). I have to confess I'm not as good with moisturising every day as I should, so I do feel like this razor didn't leave my skin feeling dry like some razors do Overall, I give it four stars! I think it did quite a good job but I do feel the replacement cartridges are a little bit on the pricy side!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rola93 from CONVENIENT!!! I got this to trial and have been using it for some time now, and seriously the words to describe this would be efficient and convenient. Firstly, I didn't need to use soap or shaving cream or anything, and usually with some razors that 'don't' require that as well my skin is not smooth afterwards. Secondly the gripping and handling was so easy, even though this sounds like a minor issue...I just cant stand when a razor slips out of my hand or ends up cutting into my skin...I had none of those issues :) Now the best part, my legs and arms were left soooooo smooth and hairless and this gave the best feeling afterwards....I only needed to go over the area ONCE and it literally removed every piece of hair no matter how short or thin it was... the only thing i can say negatively is that I generally don't like to shave but in the category of razors and hair removal creams this is by far the best i have come across....definitely a good item to have around

I was already expecting high results from the Hydro Silk and I can happily say that it delivered great results. The way the razor handle was designed allows you to easily shave along the contours of your leg. Its rubber coating allows easy grip and there's actually a hole at the top (I'm sure this was just for design purposes) which I found that I could easily fit my finger in it allowing further grip and hold. The razor was sharp and gave a very precise close shave and I could use it several more times afterwards without the moisture strips wearing out. My shave was so close and precise that I didn't have to shave until approximately 3 or 4 days later until I noticed regrowth. The razor came with a plastic holder which you can stick in your shower, however, this was the only down side; it continued to slip and fall off every time. Aside from this, the razor is of very good quality in my opinion. It gave me great smooth shaved legs and wasn't difficult to use because it is was the right size, so neat and its colours and design is a bonus! Overall, I did not experience any negative reactions from the razor and am very happy with the results. Although, because the razor is so sharp, I recommend you proceed with care to avoid knicks and cuts; this didn't happen to me but I was very close! Definitely give this razor a try.

A sure must on the shopping list. I have used this about 6 times since i got to trial it. I am amazed at how long the blades lasted till they needed to be replaced. The serum also lasted quite a while and infact i can still get more use out of this. The handle itself is a very pretty blue colour. Really lives to it's hydro name. The only think which prevented me from giving it a 5 was the contouring. I did not feel as if it contoured enough but i did not get any nicks either. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and will continuing using it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Morrigan from Trial Team review Thank you for this trial, needed a new razor!! This razor is really good, I've never used this brand before and I wasn't totally disappointed. It comes with an extra razor which should last me a long time.. First impression when I got it out of the packet - very comfortable to hold and the suction cup holder that comes with it ACTUALLY STICKS woohoo!! This is a first... The blades glide smoothly on the skin, I didn't use a shaving gel with it as it's supposed to have a serum in it already. My skin didn't feel dry afterwards and I don't usually moisturise anyway so that was good! The razor really reminded me of the gillette one - the color, shape and features except that this one's head didn't contour as easily as the gillette one does. So while it shaved very well it was a little bit uncomfortable as I kept thinking I would cut myself if the head doesn't bend properly. (I didn't cut myself so it's obviously working ok). That was the only negative for me, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 Didn't experience any razor burn or cuts or anything else uncomfortable. Will most likely buy it when in need of a new one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Demmy_M from Trial team review I've been trialling this handy little razor for the last month or so, and it definitely gets the thumbs up from me. It's super effective on first use - it glides smoothly and certainly causes fewer shaving cuts than my other razor. Its in-built moisturising properties mean that you technically don't need to lather, but it performs better if you do. The small, flexible head means that it's really easy to get to all those hairs in awkward place, which is convenient if you're in a rush. I also found that the blade irritated my skin very minimally, which is a first for me - a lot of razors I've used always leave my sensitive legs looking red and ugly. After using it for a while, this razor does lose its effectiveness somewhat, but that's to be expected. The price is quite decent, and considering you don't really need to buy shaving foam on top of that, I think it's very inexpensive. The only thing I disliked about this product was "water inspired" handle - it was pretty unnecessary and seemed a little try-hard on the part of Schick. I didn't find that it enhanced my grip at all. Other than that, this is a highly recommended, inexpensive product.

It is slightly different than other shaver that I have used in the past. The packaging comes with the shaver's cap/cover for the razor, an extra shaver head, and a holder with suction cap that you can just hang in your shower. The product has 5 razors, and has little tiny holes surrounding the razors, that oozes little beads of moisture or 'shaving gels' and it has rubber grip to make sure that it doesn't slip off hand when shaving I just run the shaver underneath the water and the moisture beads just starts. The first time i used it, it got too slimy though and it was kinda yucky on my skin. But my skin was left pretty moisturised, no dry skin after drying myself and my skin is smooth. The 5 razors are amazing because it shaves my legs so fast and I don't have to go over the same place twice too!It was very easy to manouver too and i didnt cut my skin at all The 2nd time i used it. I remembered the beads had not really dry yet because i covered the razor with its cover. Consequently, the beads were bursting out of the tiny holes,and i had to slowly peel off these moisture beads because it looked grossed. after i had successfully peeled the 'excess/undried beads' out, i usedit again So far i have used this shaver four times and loving it! Everytime i use it, it is as effective as the first time i used it. Thank you BH for letting me try this amazing razor. It is the best, the sharpest and the less fuss shaver i've ever used. I dont have to use any shaving cream before shaving, and i actually dont cut myself despite the 5 razors. 4/5 stars from me

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sudha84 from Impressive and easy to use I received this hydro silk razor as part of the trial team.I usually wax and use shaving only as a last alternative.However, i have been shaving regularly after I received this as part of the trial team.The product is designed well with an easy grip.I didnt have any problem with the holder either.The best part is that a shaving cream is not needed because of the inbuilt shaving gel.The razor glides on smoothly and the shaving itself was good.The gel actually moisturises the skin and skin doesnt feel as dry as using other razors.However after a couple of shaves I had to use extra showerl gel/shaving cream so i wasnt impressed in that aspect

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nda from Close shave! I received this razor to trial and have been pleasantly surprised with it! Love the design and packaging of the product - it's got a good grip on the handle and the blade moves easily around areas that are usually a bit trickier to shave like knees and ankles etc. The razor itself is very effective - the five blades means it gives a very close shave and the moisturiser is very handy because I don't always have a shave gel handy in the shower. My legs feel nice and smooth afterwards and I didn't get any nicks or cuts while using this. The only downside for me is that I don't think it would be very cost effective in the long run - the strips run out pretty quickly so you'd need to replace the blade relatively frequently meaning it won't be that economical. Overall though, good razor, very happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by FRIEND from Silky Smooth Pins for Days! Being lucky enough to be part of the trial team I was super excited to unpack the new hydro silk razor. It streamline packaging and no fuss design makes shaving really quite effortless. The pivot head makes all those little nooks and curves easy to access however I found it a bit chunky for the bikini area though it still made do. My favourite feature of this razor is definitely the moisture strip that really does work! I was skeptical at first but I tested it out without using my regular sorbelene shaving base. If you move the razor slowly you can actually see a goo-like substance slide across with the razor acting as a moisturizer as well as shaving base. My skin is usually easily irritated by razor burn or just regular irritation of the skin from excessive shaving however I found with this razor it didn't (granted I usually use very cheap razors). I tried to see exactly how much use I could from a single razor head and 'comfortably' I would say you can get a decent 3 weeks use if you clean your blades properly. Towards the end of the second week I noticed that the moisture strip wasn't living up to its name anymore and my skin was becoming dry and irritated again. That being said I don't think you should actually use a razor for that long anyway or could easily just lather on the shaving cream or sorbelene once the moisture strip dissipates.

As part of the trial team, I was given the opportunity to trial Schick Hydro Silk...having been a longtime Gilette girl and having a bad experience with Schick in the past, I was a little hesitant but I was very surprised as to how smooth my legs were and how little discomfort there was while using this! Firstly, I found it comfortable to grip and I was happy that a replacement head was supplied. It's quite easy to simply change razor heads and pop them back in. With the 5 blades, I noticed a much smoother shave not as much irritation to the skin (having razor cuts in the past on a few occasions). I've been a little naughty and skimped on the shaving cream, but the moisture provided by the razor ensures that there is effective hair removal I've experienced no allergies or reactions (given that this has been enhanced with a moisturiser) and my legs stayed relatively smooth for quite a few days after shaving. I'm quite likely to purchase this in the future - I'm really glad to see Schick coming out with a 5 blade razor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snow-White from Excellent! - Trial Team So I received my Schick Hydro Silk Razor as a part of the trial team and first impressions from the look of the packaging were good. It looked to be a high quality razor that will last you many uses. Looking at the front it tells you that it has 5 curve sensing blades, its moisturising serum is water-activated and it comes with a spare attachable razor head plus a shower hanger. The back explains simply that the skin guards help protect the skin from irritation and the blades give a close shave With my first use I placed the razor head under the running water in the shower to activate the moisturising serum but also decided to use some shaving foam seeing as it's normally a must do. My skin was left smooth and nick free with only having to shave over the areas once. The serum is quite slimy (although has a refreshing smell) which I found makes for a much more comfortable shave as it helps the razor glide with ease. The razor head moves perfectly to the curves of the surface (even in those tricky spots) and the grip handle helps you keep a firm hold My next use I decided to try it out without any shaving foam and I was surprised with how easily it glided across the skin. Usually my skin gets quite irritated after shaving especially around my bikini line, but I felt no irritation and my skin was healthy looking without any nasty rashes or bumps. I'm horrible at keeping up my moisturising routine, and although I would still moisturise after using the Hydro Silk razor, on those forgetful times I know my skins going to be left a lot silkier than if I were to use another razor I've used the razor at least 4 times a week since I received it and its just as good every use so I'm wondering when I'll have to pop a new razor head on! The only negative I can think of is that I found the shower holder to be quite annoying, it kept falling off the wall and I couldn't figure out how to make the razor hang in it without being easily slipped out I have tried quite a few razors and this is by far my favourite.... I think it's time to replace my old ones :)

I was excited to have the chance to try this as I need to shave every day as my hair grows quite quickly and it can be such a pain! I have tried a few of these all-in one products before and have found they just don't get as close of a shave or they don't seem to lubricate my skin properly but this was much better. I never bother with the holder on the wall so getting the razor to stay in this wasn't an issue for me, and I especially liked the way the blades cut so closely to the skin to get a smooth finish without any cuts or nicks. The gel helped the razor slide gently along and if anything was a bit on the slippery side - need to be careful not to slip in the bath on it! My main negative for this product was that the gel seemed to melt very quickly so after about a week of using this there was none left and I was back to either using it with a shower gel or replacing the razor (which could get expensive quite quickly if you had to replace it so often) It wasn't so much that I used the gel up, it was more like it came loose in large chunks and floated away doen the plughole which was a shame. Still a great option for conveniance and I will definately be taking this away with me when I don't want to have to pack shaving gel!
