The Schick® Silk Hydro Razor features a Hydra-Boost serum formulated with shea butter and sea minerals to hydrate* while you shave.

The box has product information printed inside and out. Each razor head has 5 curve sensing blades which allows shaving to be flush with skin, a skin guard to prevent shaving rash and 2 Water Activated Moisturizing Serum strips which are infused with marine extracts. The handle has a small push up release button to remove razor head to replace with a new one. For best shaving results, it's ideal to use the razor when showering. Placing the razor head under running water activates the Moisturizing Serum. The curved shape of the soft touch handle is comfortable to hold and use while shaving, it's also very lightweight, a thoughtful user friendly design. The razor head feels smooth as it runs flush with skin. The handle clasps that attach the razor act as a hinge allowing the razor head to move as a shadow to curves on legs and underarms. The Moisturizing Serum activated by water smells great, it helps the razor to glide easily, as well as nurture newly shaved skin. The first few razors I tried weren't fantastic and I was really starting to regret my decision, then I picked up this razor! It drew me to it with the pretty packaging and the nice blue colour of the razor. I use a shaving cream with this razor and it gives a completely hair free result. The first time I used it my boyfriend asked me if I had had my legs waxed again. My legs were so smooth and it was really easy to reach hard to reach places with the swivel head. I will be buying this razor from now on. I really enjoyed how moisturised and nourished my legs felt after using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ray_jay from Glosscars 2013- Best Hair Removal I hardly ever use razors due to the fact that I hate the feel and the result- so it took alot for me to try this razor but I thought it looked different and efficient The hydro silk is in built with 5 blades which is supposed to provide a closer shave- it really does this. For the first time since using a razor I felt like I had the closest shave ever- it grips all my small hairs and my big hairs and removes these all efficently. I personally really loved the way this shaver contains extra blades- it allowed for a closer shave that was decient and close to my hairs. I was not left with prickly dry skin. I like the way this razor is designed; it is curved precisely enough and contours to your body shape (love the way my skin gets a nice closer shave). It contains a nice soft rubber grip which I found really easy to hold onto and get a good curve-like other reviewers have said, I did find that the razor can start to become loose from the holder and start to remove itself. However it doesnt completely detatch and I found that I still managed to hold on tight and get a good close shave The hydro silk contains moisturising stips which on application with water really silk up and really provide hydration to my skin. When shaving with this razor I actually really liked the feel on my skin- it felt really smooth and soft, and I felt post use with this razor my skin was really soft and smooth- different to other razors which leave me dry, with flaky skin and leaving my skin sharp. The actual serum moisturising agents really lather up quite alot- more then other shavers like this. The moisturising serum in this also has lasted forever- its still going strong and delivering moisturising agents. The thing I LOVE the most about this razor is that it is so easy to use, and runs smooth up the legs. I'm left with very smooth, moisturised legs that feel amazing. Plus the results last a good week plus even more. Very impressed with this razor and I would use it again!

This is the best Schick razor that I have tried This razor has 5 blades and there is no need for shaving gel as it has its own conditioning gel in it.This product really delivers- it leaves my skin moisturised, it gives me very smooth skin, and not dry or irritated after every shave.

I rarely ever use razors due to the fact that my leg hairs grow fast and I am left with prickly spuds the morning after, but I was so overjoyed with the results of using this particular Schick razor I initially received this as a sample from Schick to try, and will Definately purchase again. My legs felt so smooth and sickly soft for about 1 whole week after use. The blade really bends to the contours of your body thanks to the head of the razor (yay yay). Also, the hydrating strip does its job. I was quite surprised how slippery it made my legs while shaving. Very happy with the way you can purchase new cartridges for replacement when the old head of the razor is overused. I think that is a few dollars back in my pocket So easy to use! So much more than my usual waxing. Never going back to another razor brand after this!

Ive never cut myself with this razor and my dry skin is left feeling soft and smooth. I will continue to repurchase for a long time- love it!

There was no irritation, and no stubble left over, (visible or feeling). The moisturising was great. The swivelling head gets around the harder to shave areas nicely. The handle was comfortable and easy to hold I can't think of a single downside to this. Will be using this razor for a long time to come I expect! Love it :) It truly deserves its fantastic reputation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nidhi1 from Best shave ever I don't really like shaving because it can make my skin very dry and irritating but I am glad that I tried Schick hydro silk razor The razor has a ergonomic soft grip handle in blue colour which looks very cool and is easy to hold, have five curve-sensing blade technology that helps in giving the closest shave possible. The razor also has a moisturising serum that activates itself in contact with water that moisturises skin and make it soft & smooth. The first time I used it the moisture serum was very slimy and left my skin very soft and supple. The second time the serum was not that slimy but still this razor makes a breeze and because it has five blades the shaving is very fast as you don't have to run razor again and again. It didn't gave me any cuts or anything which is great. Overall I am very impressed with the razor and will continue to purchase this again and again... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mampha from Best razor I have tried The Hydro Silk is well packaged, with an appealing aesthetic design. There is a blade cartridge attached, a spare blade, and a suction wall holder. Every razor is a different shape so it's great to have the holder, and the ability to be moved anywhere it will suction, is handy, especially in the shower. It also has a hole in the handle so you can hang it The handle is sculpted to fit in your hand well, so it can't just go in a slot holder like my previous razor, as it is too wide, but as far as use goes, it is the most comfortable razor! A great contour that can be held in the palm, and steadied with the forefinger forward, where there is a dip. The cartridge is incredibly mobile where it attaches to the handle, meaning it flexes easily in an arc as you use it. Together with 5 blades, this results in an awesome smooth shave. Great for legs, and stunning for underarms, which can always be a bit tricky to get even and smooth with a less flexible shaver. I even braved my bikini line and it was marvellous. Added to that, it's moisturising strips work instantly once wet. I normally shave in the shower, but I find that it got a little too slimy considering I had already lathered with liquid soap.. best not to do it under a waterfall to get the best result, but still in the shower, as Schick advise My verdict: I love this razor. I have switched to it permanently as it's the best one I have found. It is lovely to use, and gives a brilliant, easy, close shave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Muser from The best a beauty can get! I've never really used Schick razors, but I am very glad I tried this one! It is more than deserving of its Best in Beauty 2012 award! It gives a smooth, close shave with no irritation or dryness whatsoever. I usually use this razor with soap and it still performs great. What makes this razor perform so well is that the moisturising strip actually works, and even lathers a little, which helps the razor to glide easily over your skin I can't think of any negatives as I really like this product. I would highly recommend this product to any beauties out there looking for a new razor!

The Schick Hydro Silk Razor is very pretty as the design is inspired by water and was ergonomic whilst pleasing to the eye. The razor came with an extra cartridge and a razor holder that is meant to attach to the wall of the shower via suction cups. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good at hanging onto the wall, and came crashing down several times, so I gave up using the razor holder after that. As for the razor, it is an extremely well designed and effective product. The razor handle was easy to grip and there was a hole in it that made it easy to fit a finger there and steady the razor during use. The 5 blades were sharp and gave a precise, close shave, whilst the serum helped the razor glide along and moisturise my skin too. My legs and underarms felt super smooth and silky after use. The razor is easy to manoeuvre, even around knees and the back of my ankles. My legs and underarms were left silky smooth with no shaving irritation. I highly recommend this great razor. Overall, this is a great product from Schick and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to defuzz their body via a quick, effective and economical method! I've always been a Gilette fan, but now I can that I'm officially hooked on Schick :)

It has water-activated moisturising serum infused with marine extracts all around the razor; and also unique skin guards to help protect skin from irritation. This razor is so easy to use – it gives me a nice, close shave with 5 curve sensing blades with no rush and no cuts leaving my skin silky smooth. It also has a soft touch handle inspired by water for a beautiful look. This razor comes with two cartridges and an in shower holder. I have used it a few times now and the results are amazing. I love how easy it glides and moisturises I will definitely recommend this product to all my friends and continue to use it myself and repurchase the cartridges. It is my favourite now. And thank you BH for letting me trial this amazing product :)

This product certainly gets my vote: Of all the shavers and waxers I have used in the last few years, this is the best. The complaints I have are few and the nicks and cuts, even fewer (if any at all since use is soooo smooth). Pros: Beautiful packaging, easy to open due to the perforated lines at the back of the cardboard. Instructions were clear and well placed on the inside of the box. The handle was meant to resemble water or waves and I found that to be a nice touch as it made the razor easier to hold as well. The in-the-shower suction stand was great! Loved it! It stayed well on tiled shower walls and held the razor. Really also like the shave that this product produced. It was smooth and helped by the skin moisturizing gel that was activated by heat. The five blades also made for good even coverage of skin surfaces Cons: So many blades made it more difficult to rinse. I couldn't get all the hair particles out after each shave, which was a little gross. Also, the price, is a little steep. There were only 2 blades in the set so I didn't really feel that if I had paid for it that I would have received my money's worth All in all, a good product. Really like it , not sure that I would buy it again due to the price of the product and of the refills though.

The first time I used the razor to shave my legs, I found that the 5 shaving blades worked wonderfully to remove every single hair from the area with ease. It provided a close and smooth shave On the first few uses of the razor on my underarms and bikini area, I found that the razor also responded to the contours of the body really well The razor features a water-activated moisturising serum that is infused with marine extracts. This serum allowed me to have a very smooth shave and left my skin feeling hydrated. For me, I found that this serum was hydrating enough for me to skip shaving cream on some days. It helped the razor glide across the skin much more easily I really enjoyed the way that the razor is designed to flex to the contours of the body. The head of the razor is quite flexible so it allows you to get the closest shave possible. I never cut myself, experienced razor burn, or got any nicks from using this razor. I thing this might have been because of the nifty addition of unique skin guards on the razor which help to protect the skin from irritation In terms of the razor itself, it has an ergonomic handle with a soft rubber grip which makes it easy to hold on to and ensures you won't drop it if you are using it in the shower. Overall this is a great razor for when you are after a close, smooth shave with the bonus of an included moisturizing serum!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MoonStone from Best In Beauty Nominated Product Review This is by far the best razor I have ever used and for many reasons. I was given a starter kit to trail for beauty heaven. This comes with the razor, 2 heads and a wall holder for the razor. This holder is different from others I've seen in the past. Its not bulky at all and is very small. The suction is really strong and it clings on and stays in place on my tile wall. I absolutely love it as it never falls down, always holds my razor and keeps the razor away from my 2 and 3 year old children. The razor handle is perfect to hold onto. It's made from a soft plastic It's not too thin or too thick and feels grippy to hold onto, so you don't need to worry about it slipping from your fingers at all. The colour of the razor is a lovely vibrant blue that almost glows against the backdrop of white tiles. The actually head of the razor is brilliant. It features 5 blades and 2 moisture strips. When the moisture strips come in contact with water they activate and produce of soap like product that makes shaving a breeze. As you run the razor over your leg you will have no need for soap as the moisture strips give you everything you need for a friction free shave. The razor gets right up close against your leg. This razor has given me the closest shave I've ever experienced and leaves your legs hair free and very smooth. Not only does it do a great job on your legs, it also offers the same results for your underarms and bikini area. After shaving I have never once experienced drying out or itchy skin. It is also so simple to change the razor head, you simply slide up the release and the old one pops off, place the new one above the handle and slide up the release to close the teeth, position the head correctly and let go of the release to lock the new razor in place. So simple. I love that I own this razor as it gives a perfect shave every time and I will continue to use this product.

I hate shaving because I'm always prone to cutting myself, but I thought "hey, I'll give this a shot and see how it goes" and Ta-Da! No cuts! The blades give the closest shave I've ever had! The serum made my legs feel so hydrated and beautiful! Overall this razor gave me the confidence to wear my new skirt without stockings or leggings underneath! I'd give this a 10 out of 10, but the highest I can give on here is a 5!

Out of all the razors I have ever used, this one allows me to shave my legs in the quickest amount of time. It has 5 blades that shave so incredibly close to the skin that it only takes one glide over each area of skin and every single hair just disappears, leaving me with baby soft legs! Can I also just mention that I shave my legs really swiftly and with fast strokes (not very carefully) and I haven't cut myself shaving at all with Hydro Silk! I also love how I don't need to use any soap or shaving cream with it, because it lubricates itself.. such a time saver! Just wet the razor and it gets itself going! The serum that comes out of the strips on the razor is so incredibly moisturizing on my legs that I found I don't even need to apply moisturizer after my bath/shower! How amazing is that! I have found my holy grail razor in the form of Schick Hydro Silk! Very highly recommended!

I don't know why, but I'm prone to nicking myself everytime I shave. It may be because I'm rushing, but I have never nicked myself since using the Hydro Silk! I am so impressed and I enjoy shaving now. The five blades feature is excellent and gets all the hair in one motion. I've noticed my hair growth has slowed too, which is beyond amazing! My skin feels so much softer now after shaving - and this before moisturising mind you! I can't speak highly enough of this razor and this gets my vote for the Best Hair Removal!

I didn't cut myself even once even though have been using it for a month now. You do not need any shaving gel as it really does glide smoothly with just the moisturizing gel like serum from the razor. It also gave me a nice close shave and the stubble that grew back was softer than usual. No ingrown hairs too! Will purchase again for sure.

The head swivels through a wide angle so the razor stays on the skin surface no matter how awkward the angle. And the five blades ensure a clean and smooth cut. Most impressively, even though I was wearing a 48 hour deodorant that coats the skin forever, when I shaved under my arms the razor glided over the surface with ease and left my skin feeling hydrated and clean. No need to apply any extra soap. I'll be switching brands now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KissedByARose from Scaly legs be gone!!! This Razor is amazing it shaved brilliantly I had no bumps or strays and no ingrowns when the hair started to grow back... My legs felt great afterwords and stayed smooth for quite a few days... I am normally left with dry skin itchy skin after shaving but not since I have been using this razor it is my favourite by far... However the moisturising bit swells up after I use it one or two times and then falls apart so the heads need to be replaced often... Using the razor is so easy I have no more nicks or cuts wich is always a good thing and I no longer have fear of shaving over my knees... :) the razor was easy to hold and was great because it has grip so no more slips or dropping it... The shower holder is also a greats little extra as it keeps it easily accessible so you never forget...

The razor is easy to handle, doesn't slip in my hands (equalling less nicks and cuts, woo!), bends around my knees easily (wow – it was so good!) – you have no idea how bad disposables are until you try a good razor and remember. The shave was quick, easy (yes, I'm also a speed shaver – why waste time on these things?) The fact it removes the need to use shaving cream is also a big bonus, but still moisturise afterwards!! And the thing that got me was how simple the holder was – why use extra plastic that will get turned into landfill when you can have a little one? And it doesn't fall off :) Perfect 5/5 Schick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jynxx8 from LOVE! This is the best razor I have ever tried and believe me I have tried many! This is the only one that provides smooth and silky hair free skin for days. The results of this razor are absolutely superb and the water activated gel head is very moisturising to the point I dont even need to use shaving foam I just use some body wash to provide some slip. The scent of this is heavenly and paired with the lovely ergonomic handle it really does not surprise me that I have decided to repurchase refills once I finish using it! Thank you so much BH for providing me with this I will never go without one of these.

I can confirm that the Schick Hydro Silk Razor is another winner because of the following features :- The Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum : I NEVER moisturise my armpits because who wants to touch that part of the body? Not me! And now I won't have to because the Schick Hydro Silk Razor does that for me!! YAY! 5 Curve-Sensing Blades : My armpit hair grows insanely fast but because these blades give an incredibly close shave, I get an extra day of hairless pits! YAY! The Extras : It also comes with a free refill and a shower suction holder! More value for your money – what's not to love?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ms Jelena from Schick Hydro Silk Razor - Trial Team Review The Schick Hydro Silk Razor comes in a neat box with the spare blade as well as the bathroom wall holder, which I found pretty useful Schick Hydro Silk Razor handle is ergonomic, rubery and very easy to hold, but when I first opened the box, I thought that the razor won't be very good, as the blade doesn't seem to be very flexible. However, I was wrong - the razor was incredibly easy to use and it reached all the places! The first time I used this product, I used it with the shaving foam and the results were beyond amazing, the five-razors blade shaved everything off smoothly, with just gliding over my legs and leaving them completely smooth and soft!!! This razor gives a very close shave and the results lasted for quite a few days and I was very happy with that. The next time I used the Schick Hydro Silk Razor, I did it without the shaving foam and the results were just as good. There is some sort of soapy/moisturising liquid inside the blade that gets released when the razor is wet and I'm assuming this is what leaves skin looking and feeling smooth, moisturised and not irritated I've been using this product for quite a few weeks now and while at first I thought it wasn't going to be economical, I have changed my mind. I am still using the same blade, so as well as being fantastic quality, this product also lasts for a long time, which makes it very affordable Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the Schick Hydro Silk Razor and with the way my skin feels after using it - I've never used a razor that left my skin so soft I didn't even need to moisturise. These blades are nice and long lasting, which makes Schick Hydro Silk Razor very good value for money and finally, I am very impressed with the little wall holder provided, as I've never come across that before! Highly recommend the Schick Hydro Silk Razor to everyone and would like to thank BH for giving me the opportunity to trial this fantastic product!
