1. Wrap about 50cm around your middle fingers

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very impressed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like this "new and improved" version of colgate dental floss, compared to the old one, I found this felt thicker and was harder to get between your teeth despite it advertising that it slides between them easier, that was really my only issue with it but with the worry that it's going to get stuck in between my teeth it is now a product I can't/won't be using unfortunately.

Has no flavour, but it tastes lieka chemically type taste. It says it doesn't fray, but to me, it frayed fairly easily. I use different parts of the floss as I jo, adjusting it so it doesn't wear out, and it frayed. Pretty normal packaging, nothing different to what I'm used to. Much prefer the minty stuff over this, but did like the thickness.

I don't feel like this cleans in between my teeth as effectively as some other dental flosses. It's good to keep as a back-up for when my usual dental floss runs out.

I don’t usually seek out to leave a review but I’m so annoyed that it’s worse now. It feels cheaper and weaker. Didn’t have “negative review of floss” on my bingo card for 2025!

The old design was excellent—strong, smooth, and effective. However, the recent change is the worst improvement ever. The new floss gets stuck between my teeth and shreds way too easily, making flossing frustrating instead of easy. I don’t understand why they changed something that was already working perfectly. If Colgate doesn’t bring back the old design, I’ll have to switch to another brand. Very disappointed!

I can’t even get it in between my teeth and it’s not waxed at all. It was a great product before, I don’t know why you felt the need to change it. Now I need to find a different brand. Sorry but you just lost a steady customer. Just can’t use Colgate anymore. Please go back to the original floss.

Recently I bought a new 100m floss and it kept shredding and getting stuck between my teeth! It wrapped around one of my fillings so i had to throw the whole thing out or risk damaging my teeth. So disappointing…

The “new and improved” floss is TERRIBLE. By far the worst floss I’ve ever used. It has a rough texture, and frays and gets caught between my teeth. I won’t be buying Colgate again.

When finally after struggling and putting in a sheer amount of strength I got this trash floss between my teeth it shredded and not only once. It was my favorite product because I had these exact problems with other brands, now, I can only hope that sales and reviews will be so bad that hopefully, they will fire that utter oaf that designed this garbage and bring back old floss.
