General Information

Our Signature Natural Deodorant is aluminium free and great for preventing unwanted odour. A blend of naturals including Aloe, Burdock and Nettle helps to cool and soothe skin after shaving.  Citrus and Aromatic Oils including Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanilla provide a fresh aroma and leave you feeling clean and refreshed. We recommend a patch test before use as it is not recommended for sensitive skin

Warnings

Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse immediately if contact occurs. If irritation occurs rinse immediately and discontinue use. For external use only

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refreshing A very light spray with a fresh fragrance, the natural deodorant works fairly well to combat the odors that one occurs during the day. It doesn't smell chemically like other deodorants do at the end of the day, and feels lovely to put on. Depending on how much you sweat on a particular day, more than one application may be required but still works well if only put on once a day.

I find that a lot of Sukin products smell alike, example, this one and the Sukin shampoo seem to smell alike for me.<br />I do not use this as a deodrant under my arms, instead I use it all over as a body deodrant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sukin Natural Deodorant I'm trying to use more environmentally friendly products so decided to try a natural deodorant. The Sukin deodorant comes in liquid form with a spray nozzle - unfortunately, this means that the deodorant remains in liquid form and the spray that isn't absorbed immediately ends up trickling down the side of your body. The deodorant has a natural fragrance that it is not overpowering. Unfortunately, on sweaty days it doesn't really work at masking other smells, which meant that I ended up being a little self-conscious about how I smelled to other people! This deodorant was sufficient on colder winter days, and the recent cooler summer, but I would not trust this deodorant to get me through the hotter months.

I'm used to using Aloe Vera roll on deodorant (which is fantastic) I haven't used this type of deodorant before, it will take some getting used to, and time for my body to adjust. It's light and easy to apply. I'm thinking of using it to deodorise shoes and rooms as well

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for summer This deodorant ticks all the boxes in terms of being free from toxic chemicals which is why I bought it. Unfortunately it is not the best at keeping sweat at bay especially if you’re a heavy sweater. I don’t expect natural deodorants to completely stop sweat, however they usually are good at odour protection, unfortunately this deodorant doesn’t keep the odour away if you’ve sweated either. And takes a while for the spray to dry when used. This might be a better alternative for winter as it does smell nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Natural I really like Sukin products but unfortunately the Sukin Natural Deodorant didn't work well for me, in saying that it was fine for a while but not long lasting. I love the fact that it has great ingredients and a pleasant scent, the spray bottle worked well and of course like all Sukin products it was reasonably priced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really nice scent, but not effective enough for gym days I really love the sukin range and when I was sent this item free by Beautyheaven, I was very excited to try it. The thing I love about this product is the scent, omg it is amazing. Such a fresh and clean scent. I love that it contains no nasties as this is something I have become a lot more consious of. It however, is not as powerful as I am use to, does not stop sweating and I feel a bit too self consious to use it on gym days. It is good for other days where I am mostly around the house or just in the office as it gives me enough protective them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not quite strong enough for me I hate to give a bad review of a natural product and i generally love the sukin range and their ethos, this 'deoderant' however is not quite strong enough for my needs. I keep it in my gym bag and have been using it for 'freshening up' before and after a workout or before heading to the beach etc (over my usual natural deodorant) and it works ok for that purpose, but then again, water or rosewater would probably do the same job ;) if you are a 'sweater' (as i unfortunately am) you would not want to rely on this as your only deo.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine for winter This has a pleasant fragrance and didn't irritate my skin at all, but as it's not an antiperspirant, it didn't do much for me on warmer days after the fragrance had faded. That said, it was totally fine to use in winter when I wasn't sweating as much, when it was nice to give my body a break from antiperspirants. Also, left no marks on clothing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A natural alterntive deodorant I purchased this deodorant as part of my search for a cruelty free deodorant that actually works. Unfortunately this deodorant isn't great at stopping body odour &amp; is definitely not antiperspirant (although it doesn't say that it is on the packaging). I'm also not a huge fan of the smell - found it too heavy &amp; overpowering - although it is nicer than some other natural deodorants I've tried. I tried using more product in the morning to see if that helped it work better but instead it just runs down my side &amp; soaked my bra instead of sticking to the skin of my armpit. So, unfortunately, my search for a cruelty free deodorant that actually works &amp; smells nice continues ...

Smells like plants/flowers/herbs....Probably something similar to Aesop or Herbal Essence..... The scent does not last long at, after 30 minutes it might all be gone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I've been looking for a natural alternative for a long time and have used the one from Dermalogica in the past so was up for trying it since I've used their hand wash for years. As such, I was hoping I would love this as much. Sadly, no. First of all, I'm really into essential oils and sounded nice from the descriptor but when I got it home, I just didn't like the scent. That was the biggest drawback for me as well as the fact I do prefer a roll-on over a spray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product but not right for me This natural dehoderant was better then I expected. It has a really fresh scent however I didn’t like the spray application. It dries really well however wasn’t good for those who are time poor waiting for it to dry! It just felt too wet, maybe it’s a transitional stage from aresol spray - I just couldn’t get used to it! I also found that half way through the day it wasn’t lasting and I was having to reapply 3-4 times a day!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Natural and aluminium-free I finally made the switch to a natural deodorant after so many years wanting to make the change. I was really looking forward to trying this one from Sukin since I love every other product I've tried of theirs. Firstly I wanted to switch to a natural deodorant primarily of the aluminium content of other traditional commercial varieties and also because of the nasty yellow residue that would stain my lovely clothes. It's almost impossible to get that stuff off! So it gets a mark for no nasty residue however I'm not sure this would be as effective in our Aussie summers. I don't sweat a lot however, I need a deodorant to stay dry and eliminate any bad odours. This claims to eliminate the bacteria that causes odour with natural ingredients. It's fine for winter and those cooler days or days which are not particularly active. I would be too self-conscious using it on the other days It has a lovely earth smell and that's from the blend of tangerine, mandarin and lavender oils with vanilla extracts. I use 1-2 pumps under my arms, however what I don't like is that it leaves your arm pit quite wet and takes a while to dry off even with some wild chicken wing flapping motions. So I'm not a fan of the wet tacky feel, this is the feel I try to avoid using deodorant after all. This one fell slightly short of the mark in terms of effectiveness of the product. I will keep using this throughout the winter. There is plenty of product (125ml) so wouldn't last me until the next winter as the PAO is 6 months. I will keep exploring other options.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good natural deodorant I purchased this product in the hopes of moving away from harsh deodorants that contain aluminium. Whilst this natural deodorant had a really fresh, pleasant scent, and worked at freshening my underarms, I found it wasn't long-lasting and didn't prevent body odour in that it isn't an antiperspirant deodorant. Unfortunately, the only way to prevent body odour is to prevent sweating, as the bacteria that feed off sweat are responsible for the odour. This product doesn't prevent sweating or kill bacteria, so I am yet to find a natural product that can do either one of those things, which doesn't have an unpleasant powdery texture. However, Sukin's natural deodorant is a nice product for days when you aren't going to sweat much (cooler winter days, days at home, etc) as opposed to the times you are guaranteed to sweat (summer, playing sports, etc). The fragrance is lovely and doesn't irritate my nose like some other harsh deodorants do, and the product utilises a pump-action sprayer rather than a propellant which is great. I think for what it is, its a great product, but sadly it just doesn't fully prevent B.O. When sprayed onto my underarms it feels a little cool and takes a little while to dry so I tend to sit in front of a fan to speed up the process. It does not have that instant dry feeling that the bad-for-you deodorants have. I hate a wet feeling under my arms so this is the only down-fall. I don't think I'll rush to replace this product when it runs out, but it's still a good product and worth a try - plus it may work better for others than it did for me. I would however try another natural deodorant with tea tree oil if Sukin one day decided to release one like that :) Sukin still remains one of my favourite brands and their entire range of products is awesome!

To me it smells like fizzy candies, and I really love to use it as a body spray because of the beautiful scent. I love natural products, and so I am of course very impressed with the ingredients, and that it is both aluminium and paraben free. I really like this product even though I find it completely ineffective as a deodorant. It is fine on days when I am not stressed out, but when I am this deodorant does nothing. I would not buy this deodorant to use as a deodorant. I am currently using a clinical strength deodorant which works fine. Maybe if you do not sweat much this would work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kinda Gross I seriously respect the Sukin brand because they are so natural and free from a lot of nasties and the best of all - it's Australian made and owned! I bought this deodorant because it specifically said it contained no Aluminium in it, something I was very excited to see. I can honestly say I have used it less than a handful of times because it just takes so long to dry. I felt like my underarm were 'wet' for a good 5minutes after I sprayed it on, and my underarms were sticky the rest of the day. Yeah not a huge fan, I feel bad throwing out the bottle, but I can't bring myself to use it everyday.

I started using this after becoming a mom since my baby couldn't tolerate any strong fragrances. I have to apply it twice or thrice a day but I like the fragrance, gentle enough for my baby's senses and I don't have to worry about "what's in it" stuff. The mandarin fragrance is bit unusual but very pleasant and refreshing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good formula Sukin is one of my favourite brands so when I saw that they had a natural deodorant I had to give it a try. I really like the formula of this deodorant however I am not a big fan of the pump applicator. Sometimes I spray too much, sometimes not enough and I can really only apply it before getting dressed so it's not convenient to freshen up throughout the day. If they made this deodorant in a roll on I would definitely buy it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasant smell...not quite strong enough I love the Sukin products - our household has become quite the collector of their range. I was very very keen to try the deodorant & did indeed have high hopes (after finding a product that was not only aluminium free, but had ingredients I recognised and was also Australian owned) - but am afraid could not match the strength & intensity of my 'power pits'. A few good sprays under each arm kept me fresh for a few hours, however found as the day progressed it's effectiveness diminished. In the product's defence though - there have been many other commercial deodorants that couldn't quite meet the challenge either... However, being one to favour the glass half full scenario - I did find it made a nice bedroom spritzer - a pleasant orangey type scent ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't work for me I'm a very active person, I am quite sweaty but I do like to buy environmentally friendly products where I can but not at the cost of effectiveness. I really wanted this product to work for me, I do like the Sukin brand and everything that they stand for. I also like that this was an aluminium free product. I find that I can't use this product if I am going to leave the house as it doesn't stop me sweating or mask my sweaty scent. If I am lazing around the house all day then this will be fine for use.
