General Information

Our Signature Natural Deodorant is aluminium free and great for preventing unwanted odour. A blend of naturals including Aloe, Burdock and Nettle helps to cool and soothe skin after shaving.  Citrus and Aromatic Oils including Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanilla provide a fresh aroma and leave you feeling clean and refreshed. We recommend a patch test before use as it is not recommended for sensitive skin

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good natural deodorant The smell of this deodorant is so nice and fresh. It is the first time have used a natural deodorant and the first time I have used a pump spray. In regards to the pump spray I thinks it's a bit wasteful and hard to get it exactly where you want it. I think it would work much better as a roll on. I used it all through winter and I didn't have any odour but a couple of times when I got a bit stressed and broke out in a sweat I smelt the odour in the armpits. Overall I liked it and would buy again because it has no nasty ingredients.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from deodorant with no nasties I've always used roll on antiperspirant but decided to try something different in the last Beautorium. I then found I didn't mind deodorant sprays so picked this up for a ridiculously small price in Coles (less than $2!). The brown plastic bottle (which is recyclable) uses a manual pump and has a clear plastic lid (I've lost mine) to protect against accidental pressing. The label is in the usual Sukin brand style with mention of the scents on the front (tangerine, mandarin, lavender, vanillin) and a full list of ingredients on the back. If you've seen the recent tv ads you'll know Sukin prides itself on what they leave out and this is repeated on the bottle. It makes it easier to see if a particular substance has been left out than trying to read the full list. In addition it is Australian made, not tested on animals and suitable for vegans. My main objection to sprays has been paranoia about getting it in my eyes (I wear contacts) but this has a nice focussed spray so it hasn't been an issue. It also therefore doesn't leave the bathroom smelling. The smell is nice and gentle but not particularly long lasting. I'm not sure I can pick out the individual components. I found it dries quite quickly without being sticky and I've had no irritation, even after shaving (it also contains soothing aloe vera). I've found it has kept me odour-free for a full day, even with exercise however summer could be different. As this is purely a deodorant it does not stop you sweating, and while this is a good thing, sometimes you don't want to be drenched in sweat. So I will replace it with an antiperspirant for very hot days or if I'm wearing clothes that I don't want to get sweaty. Normal price is about $7 and while more expensive than eg a Dove roll on, if you are trying to avoid certain chemicals then it is well worth the money. I will be very happy to buy this again, especially in the cooler months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good I purchased this deodorant as an alternative to the harsh checmicals in traditional deodorants and was pleasantly surprised with the result. I am currently using it in Winter (not sure if I will need something stronger in Sunmer) and find 3 sprays for each arm sufficient. The smell is fresh and delicious particularly first thing in the morning and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the deodorant worked all day. I still felt the sweat (to a certain extent) however it did not have a bad odor and I would assume that it is the aluminum in traditional deodorant that blocks the pores and prevents the sweat? Overall a great affordable product for those looking for a natural alternative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good I used to use the generic brand from the supermarket, but most of them are leaving me with rather bad body odor at the end of the day. So i decided to switch to something different such as natural based deodorant. This Sukin deodorant is surprisingly good. I love it how it is gentle to your skin, it doesn't cause any irritation, and it doesn't cause any bad smell at the end of the day. It comes in a pump spray that gives you nice gentle mist and refreshing instead of aerosol spray. I also like the fact that the bottle is environmental friendly and cruelty free. Pleasant scent also

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good natural alternative In my quest to find a natural deodorant that is free of aluminium I have tried a few crystal deodorants that did'nt work but this one is much better. I like that it is a pump spray, it's so much easier to apply than a roll on deodorant. Also, unlike other natural alternatives, it is scented, It contains vanilla, tangerine and lavender oils to add a nice fragrance in addition to masking body odour. I have a fairly strong body odour so I use about 3 sprays of this on my armpits after I have showered and dried. It's working well for me, I can still smell a faint odour if I try, but it's not noticeable to other people. I don't think it will be effective enough in the summer when I exercise and sweat more, but for the colder months of the year though it is a great option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful scent I have always loved using sukin products as they are Australian made and natural. I like how it comes on a plastic spray bottle and not an aerosol can. The scent of mandarin, tangerine and lavender is just beautiful. I get many compliments when I wear it, I tend to sweat quite a bit and changed to this deodorant because it's aluminium free and as I said before Australian made, without all the harsh ingredients most other deodorants have. In saying that I still sweat using this deodorant - BUT I would sweat using other brands too. I spray 2-3 sprays under each arm and sometimes a little spray on my wrists just because I love the smell. Some days I have to reapply more than others, but all in all I love this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Such a refreshing natural spray I bought this at Priceline half price sale and so far has been the best natural deodrant mist I have seen. The scent is so refreshing and does not smell like a room spray which can be too intense. Having read about natural sprays you do need to reapply it especially if you sweat and if you perspire heavily it may not work for you. Also I have applied natural deodrant paste underarms while using this so can't comment any reactions but definatley none for my body. Best of all I feel good this product contains no nasties or alumininum and easy spray nozzle. Good budget price to top it off. Good quality item from Sukin !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells good Smells really good but unfortunately it doesn't last long if you are a moderate + to heavy sweater or are physically active.<br />I feel like I'd need to reapply at least once in a day but that's something I don't always have time to do stuff this stage .<br />I use this during breastfeeding so there's less chemicals around baby's face. That alone gives me Peace of mind.<br />I like that it leaves no marks on clothing.<br />Application is a pump spray bottle. Can be a bit wet going on but not problematic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mild Aluminium Free Deodorant Let's start by saying I rarely break out in a sweat nor do I suffer from any major body odour issues except on really humid hot summer days. Sukin's Natural Deodorant is just perfect for me. It comes in a non-pressurized atomizer spray in a plastic bottle, which means I can easily decant it to a smaller bottle when traveling.<br />The reason why I like it so much is because it is very mild and gentle on the armpits (although this does contain alcohol which some may find drying). Secondly, it does not block perspiration. This is great, since this allows my body to function normally while keeping undesirable smells at bay all day. When I first tested this product, I was a little sceptical about its ability to mask body smells due to its very faint citrus vanilla scent. This is not like the other loud, artificial, synthetically scented aerosol cans on the market. But it works for someone like me with light body odour. For the purpose of review, I’m giving it 4 stars on the basis that it may not be as effective for those with more pronounced body odour issues.

We have had it checked out by her GP and was told that it's a hereditary condition and no cause for concern. I gave this product a go as it doesn't contain aluminium and i felt that it is reasonably safe for her age. It smells fantastic and I've started using one myself. True, it won't stop the sweat from pouring out on a hot summers day like aluminium does. But there are not too many natural liquid deodorants on the market that are as easy to apply, as cost effective, and smells as good. I see it as something that safely masks my daughter's odour and prevents her from being teased in the school yard.

I recently jumped aboard the cruelty free train and this sounded like a perfect deal! I LOVEEEE the scent! so good! However, it does not really keep you smelling that way all day, so you need to reapply a few times a day. I must also mention that I don't sweat a lot and BO has never been a major issue for me, but I did notice a slight BO after using this. Now I've started using it at night before bed, because I like to go to bed feeling fresh! Will definitely repurchase though &lt;3

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK For Winter & Lazy Days At Home But Not Busy Or Warm Days I sweat an average amount, except in summer. I absolutely hate everything about summer, I can't stand the heat. I've taken to wearing a clinical strength antiperspirant throughout summer. I've decided to counter this by using an aluminium free product throughout winter This deodorant smells beautiful! Who'd have thought tangerine, mandarin, lavender & vanilla could be so compatible? The scent is fresh & invigorating upon application, but becomes less noticeable throughout the day. It's adequate BO protection through winter. For autumn/spring use, it's OK on the cooler days but I don't feel confident using this on warmer days or when I'm very active. This is a deodorant which targets the bacteria that causes body odour. This is not an antiperspirant - you still perspire. The dark bottle is strong, recyclable plastic, with a quirt applicator. Sometimes I use one squirt, occasionally two squirts. After using this bottle all winter, there is still quite a lot left. I don't expect the remainder to last if I put it aside until next winter, so I'll use it up on lazy days at home. REPURCHASE? Yes. Rated 4 out of 5 by from First natural deo This liquid deodorant comes in a spray bottle holding 125ml and is super duper cheap. Better yet, it is cruelty free and vegan! This is my first time using a natural deodorant and I am impressed - I won't be going back to conventional deodorants. This product is packed full of goodies and essential oils. It really does keep odour at bay, all day long. One or two sprays per armpit is enough so this bottle will last you a long time. If you apply too many sprays it will run down your body! Because it's a liquid, you do need to give it a few minutes to dry. I usually brush my teeth or do my hair and by the time I'm done I'm ready to put my top on. The only thing I have noticed is my underarms have popped up with a few dry spots I presume from the high alcohol content but it is subsiding so I am not worried at all.

It is a tiny bit messy (obviously as it's a spray so I would recommend spraying and letting it dry before putting on your clothes). Pros No Nasties Price-Point is great Smells lovely Cons Doesn't last as long as chemical versions of deodorant Have to reapply Not for sweaty (gym days) Overall, I would be happy to re-buy this product, I do think the pros outweighs the cons as really you shouldn't be applying so many chemicals to your body and thinking it doesn't have an overall harmful effect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different but lovely I have wanted a spray on deodorant for awhile now as i always live trying new things, this one was the cheapest i have found at a bargain price at the priceline skincare sale. Upon opening i liked the bottle was simple and pretty much had all the info i needed on the front of the bottle aswell as its great value at 125mls. I found the spray pump was super easy to use and since the bottle is large its still easy to grip. This deodorant does smell citrusy but with a sweet smell of vanilla. I personally dont love the smell due to i dont like citrus and vanilla mixed together but it is definetly easy to put up with as the smell isnt overpowering. I spray 2 pumps under each arm and found it last approx 12 hours before wearing off but when i sprayed it again as a top up it effectivly removed any previous bad odour. I dont sweat much so i cannot comment on how the deodorant helps with that. I found under freshly shaved under arms it does sting slightly due to the citrus but it is very mild. I will continue to use this deodorant as even if i dont use it everyday i have found it to be an excellent subsitute for the aresol deodorant that i usually use as a top up. Also because this isnt an aresol and is great at neutralising odours i have been keeping it in my bag for when im on the go as i dont have to worry if its sittig in a hot car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural Deodorant I was looking for an aluminium-free deodorant after reading about how aluminium has been linked to cancer and this caught my eye, due to the fact it was affordable and it was from Sukin (I love Sukin). The scent of this deodorant smells amazing and does work in covering up any odour, however i'm not a huge of spray deodorants, i find it very inconvenient to spray and would prefer to see this packaged in those roll-on containers like the Natio Deodorant. Also the staying power isn't as strong, if you play sports or exercise you will need to re-apply. Sometimes i use it as a body spray as well ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Organic Deodorant I wanted a Deodorant that didn't contain aluminium an was easy to apply and I cam across this product. It has a really nice fragrance which I find important in a deodorant and you just spray it to your armpits and your away. Being a natural deodorant it won't reduce the perspiration so you will need to reapply during the day but I find it the perfect product for those Winter days and it's good to let your armpits get declogged of the aluminium blocking them. Even if I apply another deodorant I like to use this as a body spray as well.

However, odor is not something I have a huge battle with in the heat, my battle is purely violent skin reactions and this product just so beautifully helped my skin recover from a godawful summer. I use it as a body spray as unfortunately it does nothing for me in the deodorant department but to be honest not many natural ones do. I would still recommend this product and love using it as a spritz if I'm not wearing perfume

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sukin Deodorant Spray Sukin is a popular natural Australian brand. Sukin deodorant spray is good for those preferring a natural deodorant. I've been through a few bottles of this and use it when I am not expecting to perspire heavily. I find it effective at keeping odours away for normal day to day use when it is not too hot but prefer to use a anti-perspirant when it is hot or if I am exercising. The smell is calm and nice. The spray does not irritate my delicate underarm skin. I often keep some in my gym bag to use after my shower. I do water aerobics at the gym and like to use a natural gentle deodorant after being in the harsh chlorinated water.

But I find, for me, it does stop odour. I find it good for other more delicate areas if you wish to keep personal odours at bay. (Blushing) does what I want it to, but if you perspire a lot, maybe not adequate, but does me and I love that it is natural..,no chemicals.

Smells beautiful, herbal with just a hint of vanilla. Great for sensitive skin, does not bother me even after waxing. To me it does not last, so I use it just to have nice fresh fragrance, since I can not use perfumes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural but not strong enough The natural deodorant by Sunkin gets points for being one of the most natural deodrants I have ever tried on the market! The deodrant comes in a pump bottle- and two sprays for me is great- however I feel like I dont get proper dispersion for my whole underarms- and so sometimes I have to use a bit more to get the mist to go under all my underarms to feel more coverage. I love that this is completely aluminium and paraben-free so no rashes, no reactions, no issues with ingrowns and as one who is sensitive espcially after shaving or waxing this is a god-send. There is no stinging or burning on application and I really love the smell of this product- it smeels super natural and herbal- like essential oils and It makes me feel relaxed. It contains tangerine, mandarin, lavender and vanilla extract, which impart a fresh and clean fragrance. Now this deodorant is not a anti-perpirant- it is just a deodorant that helps eliminate the bacteria that cause odour. But I feel with this product- I just dont have that extra protection I need- I dont feel as though I smell but at the end of the day I still feel I need more and I dont like this. During the day the effectiviness faded dramatically- I am on my feet all day though! Overall this is a nice deodorant with a pleasent herbally oilly smell which is natural and gives good protection- I just dont feel that it is enough protection for me. Nice for extra sensitive and those who want paraben free!
