General Information

Our Signature Natural Deodorant is aluminium free and great for preventing unwanted odour. A blend of naturals including Aloe, Burdock and Nettle helps to cool and soothe skin after shaving.  Citrus and Aromatic Oils including Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanilla provide a fresh aroma and leave you feeling clean and refreshed. We recommend a patch test before use as it is not recommended for sensitive skin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot to love here! This all-natural deodorant spray contains no aluminium, an essential attribute when l look for a new underarm product, and also no parabens. Beautiful scent of tangerine, mandarin and lavender oil. I asked the Priceline sales assistant where deodorants were and she personally directed me to the aisle and also recommended this product, and she was onto a winner. Never leaves skin itchy due to its mildness and natural ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap natural deodorant I used to use antiperspirants but they left residue on skin and clothes and apparently all those chemicals for antiperspirants is bad for you and can enter your body and cause breast cancer. This is a natural alternative which has a soft scent of vanilla and citrus which can keep feeling fresh throughout your day. I actually like that this has a soft scent as I am quite sensitive to strong smelling products. I also love that this product doesn't leave any residue on clothes unlike other commercial deodorants and antiperspirants. I do apply 2 spritz of this to my pits after showers and go about my day. For me it works wonders and I don't smell at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to deodorant I love this product. This deodorant isn't over the top, it smells calming and natural - like it is. NO TOXIC CHEMICALS makes me super happy every time i use it as regular deodorants with aluminium can cause breast cancer. It doesn't 'stop sweat' but it reduces and illuminates bad odours and makes you feel fresh. I find i can use this product right after shaving without any pain or sensitivity. I have had two of these spray bottles and they last quite a long time, they are great value. They also don't test on animals which makes me love it even more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Winner After coming across this product, I haven't looked back. The price is just the first of many positives. No nasty chemicals, smells great, really refreshing. Some people say that it doesn't last all day but they forget it takes over 3 months for all the other chemical deodorants to vacate our body and after that it really does last. If you find it doesn't last all day, just a spritz will freshen up again.

I found this product in my search about a year ago, and I have to say, it was the best find every.....Absolutely love that I can feel confident that I am covered and I never have irritation or redness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Natural Spray Deodorant I've been using natural deodorants or the last few years (concerned about possible links with breast cancer) in both cream and roll on forms. Have found a cream deodorant I'm more than happy with, but it can be a bit messy and hard to apply during the cold winter months. And I'm yet to find a roll on deodorant that is as effective. I've been using this sukin natural deodorant for a few months and impressed by it's effectiveness and this 125ml will last a long time. It has a lovely citrusy blend of essential oils although it's aroma is short lived. Rather than reading what it contains, I love to see what it doesn't contain - a long list of NO..... (nasty) ingredients! It's all Australian owned and made, 100% Vegan and Carbon Neutral and No animal testing and I can't believe the very affordable price! I have given it 5 stars, but would award it 4 and a 1/2 as I find it too runny, but it's worth more than 4. Realise it needs to be thin enough to be a spray, but it does tend to run down my side when sprayed.

I have used many Sukin products, but their deodorant is probably my favourite product in their range. Unlike chemical-based products, natural deodorants are not designed to block perspiration. All they can do is minimise odour. Many of the natural deodorants that I have tried have such weak concentrations of essential oils that they don't effectively reduce odour. Sukin Natural Deodorant contains essential oils of tangerine, mandarin and lavender, as well as vanilla extract. I feel that these are strong enough to minimise odour. If I am around people in close proximity, I reapply the Sukin Natural Deodorant throughout the day; and more often in hot weather. I also use it as a body spray. There are some companies selling deodorants that claim to be natural, yet they contain ingredients that I do not want to use near sensitive breast tissue. There are also a few excellent natural deodorants that contain sodium bicarbonate, but some people experience irritation from this ingredient. I have been using Sukin Natural Deodorant since it first appeared on the market, and my sensitive armpits have never had any reactions. Sukin is accredited by the Choose Cruelty Free program for their commitment to products that are free from animal testing. Sukin is a certified carbon neutral business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely This is a bit of a hidden gem product, I mean under $6 for a natural deodorant is a bit of a win. It has a pleasant smell and really does work for sensitive skin - I had no reactions to it and I actually felt safe to use this one while breastfeeding as well (bub reacts to anything too strong smelling). If this is your first natural deodorant, be aware it won't stop sweat, but it works to neutralise bacteria that cause the smell. I didn't detect any smells but I did feel that I needed to refresh it during the day. I'm not sure about the pump dispenser spray. I'm used to rollons so I felt I wasn't getting enough product with one spray but too much with two. Still, it's a bit of a bargain and lasts a long time so it's a big tick for me.

At $5.95, this product is an absolute bargain! I can go through multiple bottles during the year and not be worried about the price required to replace them. It's a must-have.

But after seeing this on special in a chemist I thought I would give it a try. I loved the scent and a little goes a long way. It is all natural and I had no reaction as I have with many of the supermarket brands. It is great value for money too.

The ingredients in this product are so natural and great for my skin, such as tangerine, mandarin and lavender oils. I find this deodorant to be nice and gentle on my skin so it would be a great product for those with sensitive skin. It comes in a spray bottle which makes it very easy to use and apply. I have found it to be very effective and it keeps me feeling dry and fresh throughout the day. This is a very affordable deodorant. Sukin is one of my favourite natural skin care brands and I would happily recommend this deodorant to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only natural deodorant that I keep buying BEST IN BEAUTY 2013 There are many deodorants on the market which claim to be natural, yet their list of ingredients contradict these claims. Sukin's Natural Deodorant doesn't have ingredients that cause me concern. It does contain alcohol, but my skin doesn't react to it. I have tried a variety of natural deodorants. Most of them contain essential oils which help mask odour (natural deodorants do not block perspiration; they just minimise odour). I've found most of these deodorants to contain such weak concentrations of essential oils that I question whether they do a good enough job of masking odour. Sukin's Natural Deodorant contains their signature aromatherapy scent in enough of a concentration that I feel it works well. If I am using this deodorant in hot weather and/or I am in close proximity to people, I am quite obsessive about reapplying it throughout the day (just to be sure!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best natural-based deodorants If you use an aluminium-based deodorant/antiperspirant, then you might be disappointed in this product as it probably won't stop you sweating (natural-based deodorants reduce bacteria that cause smells, without blocking the sweat glands). Although I can't be certain that nobody can smell anything nasty from my armpits, I think that this product probably does a better job than other natural brands I've tried due to the inclusion of vanilla, along with its other ingredients. I have sensitive armpits, and I haven't had any adverse reactions (this deodorant has aloe in it). I sometimes use this as a body spray as I love the vanilla scent so much There are lots of companies making deodorants which claim to be natural, but when I read their labels, I see ingredients that I don't think should be used on sensitive armpits or near breast tissue e.g. propylene glycol. Sukin's deodorant doesn't have any ingredients that alarm me. If you are someone with highly sensitive skin, you might want to do a patch test of this product just case. The only ingredients that I see might be a problem would be one of the essential oils, or the linalool or limonene (used as a natural fragrance), as these can be an irritant for some people.

I've been trying to use more natural products and cut down the amount of chemicals in my beauty products so I was excited to find this deooderant! I had previously been using Redwin aluminium free which I also think is great but I also enjoy trying new products. It has a nice fresh smell, mostly like vanilla and I like the spray bottle it comes in. Easy to apply and also a good price. Will definately buy this again once I have run out!

It is fresh and lightly scented, as with all the Sukin Range, and it works well as an all over body spray to keep you feeling fresh, without clashing with your favourite perfume. There are no parabens or aluminium and it is Australian too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easing into natural products I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well this deodorant works! I've always been curious about natural deodorants and how well they actually do the job, so thought I'd give this Sukin one a whirl. It has a super light fragrance that isn't going to overpower any other scents you wear, and it doesn't irritate the skin. I did find that it wasn't the best on hot days when you really work up a sweat, but I do think it still helped lessen the severity of any associated body odour. It's not a fool-proof antiperspirant like many non-natural deodorants, but for an average day-to-day deodorant it really does the job. It's definitely a great and affordable way to start easing into using more natural products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good concept which worked better than I thought it would I must admit, I am scared of the term Natural Deodorant and the reason is because though I do not have much body odour (feet is another story) I always wear deodorant with 24-48 hours anti-perspirant activity as I sweat a lot and I do mean a lot. The Sukin Signature natural deodorant comes in a hard dark brown plastic bottle with a black spray nozzle for application which delivers a good quality and consistent spray. The clear cap which came with it ]is too stiff and cracked in multiple locations and within a few weeks and I needed to chuck it out as it was not staying in place. I have no idea as to the colour of the product as you cannot see inside the bottle and you spray it out but it is a watery consistency and has the classic Sukin scent which is a mixed herbal. The instructions on the bottle advises you to spray deodorant onto your body and under arms when required. This did not give me much confidence as I wanted to know how much I needed to use. One spray? Ten sprays? Most people who had reviewed this product did not advise how much they were using therefore I ended up spraying this product three times under each armpit once a day which may be overkill but I do not want to be caught out when body odour actually hits. Since it is basically a liquid, it then means that you need to wait for it to dry before putting on clothes but since it is only a light layer of liquid, that is not that long. This summer has been mild and I have been working at home for the last year so I have been getting away with applying this deodorant once a day but I am getting an uncomfortable wet feeling under my arms which I am not used to due to usually wearing and anti-perspirant all year round. Due to my habits, I usually exercise in the morning, then wash, then apply deodorant so I cannot confirm what you should do after exercise or sweating too much but I will carry this with me when I go out just in case it is needed. This product leaves no marks on my clothes and the scent of the deodorant does not linger too long and you are left with just the protection. I would recommend that anyone wanting to use this product and keep sweating during the day at bay needs to wear natural fibres which allows your skin to breathe, ensure that your sleeves are not too tight around your arms wear appropriate clothes for the weather (or layers which can be removed if needed) and keep your underarm hairs shaved. This deodorant should do the rest regarding odour. Made in Australia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh smelling natural deodorant I bought this deodorant as I enjoy using the sukin range and wanted to move to more natural cosmetics and toiletries to reduce the number of nasties going into my body. I hadn’t tried a natural deodorant before so I was keen to see how well it worked. The spray has a beautiful fresh natural scent to it. It is easy to apply and spray over the body. You don’t have to use too much and therefore the bottle lasts you a long time. However, I much remind myself that it is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant. So although I didn’t smell bad after intense exercise, I still sweated a lot. I love that it’s completely natural, doesn’t contain any aluminium and therefore it’s not doing any harm to my body. But for more sweatier occasions I will have to continue to use an antiperspirant.

Still sweat but smells much better. When I reapply it does neautralise any odour effectively (but you do need to reapply through the day). Convenient easy sprayer.

It doesn’t leave streaks or stains. The only thing I find is sometimes it drips down my sides when I first spray it on but hey! Still smells great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural and effective I am wary the chemicals and nasties in anti deodorants, so when I saw this on special at the chemist, I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. The deodorant came in only 1 scent: Sukin's signature, mainly vanilla-ish. It's effective (for me; I understand that the deodorant wasn't effective for some users here) in "neutralising" the sweat odour, even though it doesn't stop perspiration; bear in mind it is not an anti perspirant. I like it that it's natural, paraben and aluminium free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent deodorant for winter This deodorant is one of two natural deodorants I use. I think it works well for winter, where I can replace my normal antiperspirant almost entirely with this deodorant and not stink out a room. The deodorant has got a mild but nice scent, it smells fruity with hints of vanilla. It’s very pleasant to use, but because it is a mist I find I sometimes spray too much and have to dab at the areas to get the excess liquid off. In summer the deodorant also works well, especially with the scent being so refreshing, however I find I have to reapply it a couple of times a day. All in all, for a natural spray deodorant, this one is pretty good!
