They are large, black tablets which can be hard to swallow for some and I like to take them after I have eaten food. Do not take it on an empty stomach as it can make you feel really nauseous. I like to take it in the morning after breakfast to start off my day. It contains vitamin C as well which helps with the absorption of iron. Overall I find that it keeps my iron levels balanced and gives me energy.

They did upset my stomach for the first few days of taking them but then that settled down and now I'm fine taking them. This might be tmi but they can make you constipated and did make me constipated. I like that these also contain vitamin c because vitamin c aids in the absorption of iron. The tablets are quite big and are black in colour. They don't have a taste or smell.

A lot cheaper though at half the price. Larger than ferro-grad c, so if you have trouble taking larger pills, best to choose something else.

The product is well priced compared with others but unfortunately after a few months of use it hasn't helped to elevate my low iron levels. Might be ok as a booster but if you are iron deficient definitely go with a product your Doctor recommends.
