The scent is lovely, it feels moisturising, and it has good longevity if you're just doing normal everyday tasks (probably not good for sports or if you're a particularly sweaty person). I really like that it's in a clear glass container so you can see how much you have left. I'm not sure if it helped my underarms to stay smooth for longer as it claims as my hair tends to grow fast regardless. I still prefer a natural deodorant paste I've been using for years, but I would be happy to keep this Nivea roll-on in my bag for quick touch-ups.

The packaging for this roll on deodorant was really pretty and I could see it being a product I would be ok with having on my bathroom display . The one thing I didn’t like was that there was no indication on what the scent was without doing more investigating . I was curious what the double effect was supposed to do differently to other roll on deodorants and they suggest that it helps moisturise your under arms which then helps with shaving sensitivity . I have to say I haven’t had any issues with shaving since using this and I was starting to feel like I needed more moisture prior to using . I did not find that it had any protection against sweat however and that was also mentioned on the website along with odour control both for 48 hours which I think fell short . The scent itself wasn’t my favourite it was a bit strong .

I’ve been a cream/bar deodorant fan for a long time as I really don’t like the stickiness I’ve experienced with roll-on deodorants. The Nivea Duo wasn’t sticky at all and the scent was really lovely. The down side for me was that by the end of a busy day I noticed it wasn’t protecting me from odour as well as my usual deodorant. Another plus was that it couldn’t be seen rubbing off on my clothes. I’ll happily continue using it for lower activity days in the office.

This roll on deodorant unfortunately leaves me feeling sticky and wet once applied and it takes a little while for it to feel dry and even once dry I don’t exactly feel fresh. Besides all that it’s easy to apply, doesn’t leave any marks on my clothing, smells really nice and the scent lasts all day. Unfortunately though this isn’t one I’m likely to purchase in future, I’d rather stick to the spray deodorants.
