General Information

Epsom Salts is an inorganic salt known as Magnesium Sulfate, which can be used as an natural alternative to relax the body in a warm bath.

Epsom Salts can also be used as a fertiliser to overcome magnesium and sulfur deficiencies in soil; in addition, it can  also be used as a fabric softener.

Suitable For: Epsom Salts can be used to relax the body in a warm bath

Ingredients

Magnesium sulfate

Contains: Magnesium sulfate

Directions

Dissolve 375g in an average size bath of warm water.

As a fertiliser:
To help overcome magnesium and sulfur deficiencies in soil (symptoms include yellow between leaf veins and curling of leaves), spread Epsom Salts over the soil. For citrus crops, tomatoes, lettuces etc, also apply as a foliar spray (375g to 20 litres). For further advice, seek the help of an agricultural specialist.

As a fabric softener:
Place 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salts in the washing machine before commencing the rinse cycle.

USAGE ADVICE

During hot weather or when left exposed, Epsom Salts loses some of the water responsible for its bright crystalline appearance and may acquire a white frosted appearance. This has no significant effect on its properties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your very own private beach I use this to soak my feet. Follow the instructions, combine with hot tap water & kick back & soak for the next half an hour. Worlds apart but next best thing to walking along the beach to access saltwater. Your feet will thank you.
