Directions

1. Prepare and mix your colour: Add the contents of the Colourant Cream tube into the Developer Milk Applicator Bottle. 2. Shake well and snap off the tip of the bottle. 3. Apply your colour: Apply mixture to hair lengths and ends, using the tip of the applicator bottle to separate the hair section by section. 4. Massage well. 5. Leave for 25 - 35 minutes if you have resistant grey hair. 6. Rinse and Condition.

I dyed my hair 5 days ago and it doesn't come out when I washed it I have medium brown hair and decided to use a 4.15 Iced Chestnut it is a mahogany ash brown. I loved, loved the colour something a bit more vibrant for the cooler weather. It left my hair feeling soft and silky Everything I needed was in the box including an easy to read instructions. The product spreads easy as it is a non-drip creme, the smells was not over powering. I found the product easy to use I would recommend this product not only because how well it works but because the price is a great value too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mbrandt72 from Full Grey Coverage! I was lucky enough to trial the Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour in Black. Looking at the box, it's vibrant green colour stands out and states it's a Permanent nourishing hair colour which has 100% grey coverage. My hair was in dire need of the coverage as I do have quite a bit of glitter (grey) mixing the colour creme and developer creme together, gave a lovely fruity perfume and I couldn't wait to put it in my hair! As I have long thin straight hair, I had plenty in the bottle. Putting it in my hair, it felt lovely and smooth. It also felt thick enough that it didn't run onto my scalp. I left it on for 40 minutes as I had a bit of grey to cover. Rinsing it out, I could instantly feel that my hair was so soft and silky and I couldn't wait to dry it. After it was dry, my hair felt awesome! It was super shiny! It definitely covered all my grey! I will also be using this product again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dilettante from Shiny, health and natural I've been a home colour person for many years now, finding that it is possible to get salon results in the comfort of your own bathroom. Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour has confirmed that for me My hair is a mousy blonde/brownish that responds well to mid range blonde hair dye. I choose the 8.13 Medium Ash Blonde and it has turned out to be a great choice. My hair is now a lighter blonde than it's normal non-descript brownish. There is no flat hair colour look at all- my hair is shiny and healthy looking with a natural finish In terms of application the Nutrisse hair colour is pretty much standard. There were no issues at all with mixing the colour and it was super easy to apply. The only issue I had was that my hair felt quite dry afterwards so instead of using the provided conditioner every other shower I found myself using it at every hair wash. This fixed the problem and my hair has been lovely and soft. There's plenty of conditioner provided which is great news if your hair is prone to feeling a bit straw like after colouring.

The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour is less messier than other products I've used. It doesn’t drip or dye your skin, and cleaned off my skin very easy. The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour instructions were easy to follow. After colouring my hair – my hair is normally left feeling very dry, with The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour is leaves my hair feeling really smooth and looks super shiny. When using other hair colour products, I find when I’m rinsing my hair in the shower the hair colour usually goes everywhere on the shower glass and walls. The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour was great, no massive streaks of colour on the tiles or walls, a lot less cleaning is needed when you use Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour, the colour stays in your hair and also leaves my towels streak free (of the hair colour). I chose the Licorice colour of The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour and found the shade to be perfect and match my natural hair colour.

The grey however, was standing out and needed addressing . I received the product which came in vibrant packaging, with very clear instructions on how to use the product. On opening the solutions I found the smell a little overpowering but after a little time became accustomed to the smell. I have long hair so it took a little time to apply the product and in so doing I felt that the opening on the applicator could have been a little larger to allow for easier application. The serum was rich and creamy and easy to massage through my hair. Also due to the thickness it was also easy for me to plaster my hair up so that it did not fall over my shoulders. Prior to using I still had dark hair underneath which was transformed to give me even color. After rinsing and applying supplied conditioner I felt that my hair had a lovely shine and it looked healthy, it is now more manageable and does not appear to knot so readily.

The colour I chose was Crimson Promise 3.6 Deep Reddish Darkest Brown. I received the package on a Friday and coloured my hair over the weekend with the help of my husband. The box states that the dye is enriched with 3 oils, has a new conditioner formula and will leave your hair silkier, shinier and nourished for up to 8 weeks. Inside the box, there's 1 bottle of cream, 1 tube of colour cream, 1 bottle of conditioner, 1 pair of gloves (very handy and appreciated) and instructions. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow. There's even illustrations to help if you don't want to read everything. First, you have to mix the developer cream with the colour cream together. Shake and mix well. I found the ammonia smell to be a little strong for my liking. I waited about 10mins and opened my bathroom window before applying on my hair because of that reason. Work in sections of the hair. Once you have applied to your whole head, you have to wait for some time depending on how dark you want the colour to set in. I waited for 30mins before rising off the dye... I have lots of greys. I like that the dye does not drip onto clothes or towel. It wasn't runny. Wash your hair as per normal (I used a shampoo for coloured hair) and use the conditioner given. It's a small tube but it lasted me a few days as I have short hair. Overall, I was happy with the results. I have dark coloured hair and when I get grey hairs coming through, it is very obvious. I wanted something that was dark (or similar to my hair colour) but not too dark and boring. I wanted a slightly lighter shade of hair colour and this was just right. Because I coloured my hair in the evening, the reddish brown was not obvious. It only became obvious when I went outside under the sun the next day. It's been a week and colour is still strong. I'm not sure if it will last up to 8 weeks but am looking forward to see how long it lasts. My hair does not feel stripped or dry. The conditioner keeps it soft. Once the free conditioner is finished, I recommend continuing using a conditioner for coloured hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeautyByBrooke from I look 10 years younger! As it had been a long time since I coloured my hair I am VERY HAPPY with the results of this colour! I used the colour Dark Quartz on my natural brunette (ashy) hair and now my hair colour has deepened to an almost black, shiny, cool dark brown. Best part - no more Grey!!! The application was easy although I had to re-read the instructions as I got a bit mixed up. The product itself hardly dripped and was easy to apply, although I did get colour run on my face, ears and even my eyelash extensions (did I mentioned i have not coloured in a long time!) however the colour wiped off fairly easily with an old towel. For my eyelashes I wiped gently with a tissue and it was not an issue. This was the first time I coloured my hair since completing chemotherapy last year and I found the product very safe and gentle. I've received so many compliments and it's given me the confidence to have my photo taken and even go on dates : ) If you feel like you could do with a bit of a lift, this is the one for you.

After doing the initial allergy test, which showed no problems. I was ready to go. The colouring products were easily mixed and the bottle with the nozzle, made application a breeze. The box even has a press out indent, where you can rest the bottle while you part your hair. This resulted in zero mess. The gloves were a good fit, and easy to remove during processing time, then easy to put on again, when ready to rinse the mixture off. I was very happy with the fruity smell of the hair dye. I chose doing my roots first, as that's where my grey hairs are more prominent. I then continued on applying throughout the lengths of my hair. Luckily relaxing with a coffee during the processing time. The rich thick creamy consistency ensured the product didn't drip or run. At the end of processing time I lathered up my hair with warm water in the shower, no need to wash your hair again. Then rinsed it completely. I then used the lovely, lush, fruity conditioner to finish the treatment. I was happy it included a generous amount, that can be used again. Once rinsed, I dried and styled my hair, I was very pleased with the results, all my grey roots were covered and my hair was a rich brown colour, with a lovely smooth shine. I made sure I snipped off the colour tag on the top of the box, to keep in my purse, so I could remember what shade I used for next time. My hair type is straight and fine, this made my hair look in great condition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BFerraro from Garnier Nutrisse Review As a Mum working part time and 2 small kids, I don’t have the same time to commit to getting the hairdresser every 6 to 8 weeks for touch ups. So I have to look at the supermarket brands for home-hair maintenance. My main issue is grey hair and covering them up till I can get to the hairdresser. This product worked a treat. I loved the rich brown colour of the dye and texture of my hair after I applied the colour. My hair felt smooth and really shiny. I kept the dye on a little longer than the packet recommended to really get to those stubborn greys. As a busy working mum, I'd recommend this product to other friends and family. The product smelt so fresh. It was a great alternative to hairdresser hair colour and a lot cheaper and quicker than going to the hairdresser. I felt so much more confident after using this product as it covered my grey hair.

I did not do the allergy test as they would not be enough time to use the product and then to give a review. As per the directions I put on the plastic gloves and prepared the mixture. This product is easy to use, as it has the same procedure as other hair colours brands I have used It has a nice pleasant smell, thank goodness! The results were pretty amazing . I have shoulder length hair and there was enough product to cover most of my hair. It was quite straightforward procedure and not messy to use. The overall result was quite good. All my roots were fully covered and my hair felt quite soft and shiny. I used the conditioner afters which left my hair softer and more manageable. However how well and long this colour lasts remains to be seen as it has only been a few days since I used it :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Saje from Nice Natural colour Thank you BeautyHeaven for giving me the opportunity to trial Garnier Nutrisse Crème permanent Nourishing hair colour 100% grey coverage light Crystal Brown 6.23. I chose this colour as it is slightly lighter than my natural colour but darker than highlights in my hair which had gone a bit brassy. This product comes in a cardboard box which contains the developer crème in an applicator bottle, a tube of nourishing colour crème, a small bottle of nourishing conditioner, gloves and clear instructions. I always follow the instructions for the allergy test as I can think of nothing worse than allergic reaction which may result in the loss of hair. I have long hair coloured which is at least 50% grey and a large area of regrowth, so I followed option 2 on the instructions sheet. I also cheated and got my partner to do the application as I wanted to be sure all greys were properly covered. He was very careful and tidy so there was little mess. After the recommended time a little water was added and a lovely head massage was had in order to emulsify the colourant, then for a thorough rinse and the conditioning treatment which was supplied. The conditioning treatment is supposed to last for 3 washes but I used about ¾ in order to cover my longish hair. After blow drying time for an assessment - colour lovely, grey coverage pretty good, condition good – overall I am happy with the result for something which is relatively easy to do at home. I really should have had a second pack on hand as I really struggled to get all my hair covered, however the result is still good and the areas where coverage was not great look as if they have had some foil highlights added. I also used a leave in conditioner after drying my hair to make my hair feel smoother and silkier This is an easy to use product which doesn’t drip and therefore is not messy to use. Would I recommend this product, yes if you don’t have the time or money to get professional colour.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tanjaz from Excellent Hair Colour I used the Garnier Nutrisse Creme in 10.01 Natural Ash Light Blond to my already bleached hair. I naturally have very fine curly brown hair, and the main reason i wanted to try this product was to see if it will help with touching up my roots but also whether it will revive my dull, lifeless and brassy blond hair colour The Garnier Nutrisse Creme box came with a developer creme, nourishing colour creme, nourishing conditions with avocado oil, and a set of plastic gloves When I first opened the box, i was surprised by the amazing fresh and floral scent that i could smell. This I did not expect as most home hair dye kits have the distinctive nasty chemical scent that causes my eyes to burn, which also caused to have to apply the product outdoors and stay outdoors until i was ready to wash it off Pleasantly when i opened the developer creme and the nourishing hair colour, i was surprised they had the wonderful fresh scent. I was ready to apply this product indoors as it was so pleasant and i could relax and watch tv while the colour was developing I peeped my hair by brushing it, the as i previously mixed the products together, sectioned my hair starting from the base of my neck and working my way to my crown one section at a time from root to tip making sure i saturate every strand. I found t amazing being that it was a cream formula and made it so easy to apply by myself and i could do it indoors. After leaving it on for 20 minutes, time flew by, i washed my hair in the shower and used the Garnier Nutrisse Avocado Enriched Mask for extra moisturisation and finished with the conditioned that was supposed, all while enjoying the amazing scent After that i blow dried my hair with a blister and round brush. My hair looked and felt amazing, The colour didn't lighten my roots as much as i desired however it did do a great job to lighten them enough that i can go another few weeks before having to dye my hair again, just like belliage hair, and it made it look amazing, feel super soft, healthy with added shine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Colcol from Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour Review I found the Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour easy to apply. It felt lovely to spread it on my hair, but as I have short hair, there seems to be a bit too much product for me. The dye didn’t stain my face as much as other hair dyes I’ve tried. However, I noticed my head got warm during the waiting period. The final result was darker than I anticipated, which was disappointing. The shine and feel of my hair the next day was nice, but I will re-wash my hair tonight as I can still smell the dye. The colour also seems a bit patchy, but maybe I didn’t mix it enough. The Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour was fantastic for covering grey hairs, it’s probably the best I have tired (and I’m over 50+), despite the few flaws, I would definitely use this product again, but in a lighter colour.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellen 445 from Soft hair beautiful smelling! I had the Garnier Nutrisse creme as part of the trial team, thanks so much Beauty Heaven for this! My shade was 623 Light Crystal Brown, in hindsight I would go for one shade darker no reflection on Beauty Heaven or Garnier! I did the usual prep that I do, it was easy to mix, then did my roots first, left on for 15 mins (maybe 10 would have been enough) then did the rest of my hair and left it on for another 15 mins. I really liked that it didn't stink of chemicals. It was also easy to wipe off any stains around the face. The conditioner was lovely and combed through really well. My hair is pretty dry due to an auto immune condition and also using bore water. I have very grey roots so I was really happy with the result albeit a little too light for me. It did seem to have different colour reflections in the sun. I have used the mask and it just lovely ! Generally i need touch ups after 6 weeks so I will see what it is like then.

I selected my colour, however, I later received an email from BH stating that Garnier recommended a different colour for me. They are the experts, so I agreed with their suggestion. Well wasn't I lucky! They nailed the colour for me I did a small test strip the night before to make sure there were no allergic reactions. The packaging is very bright, green, blonde and even has an avocado on it. Lovely. Not something I would have ever tried as I am used to using hairdresser colours. The product was very simple to use and everything was measured out - much better than me having to measure it out each time the old way Inside the box there is an instruction manual, products and a conditioner, which is very comprehensive and I followed that to a tee. Once I started to apply colour with the nozzle, I couldn't use the bottle, simply because I have been using a colour brush for years. I then tipped all the liquid into the containers I normally use and found that the consistency of the product was beautiful, there was a nice smell to it, I applied it in no time with the brush, only because it is what I'm used to. I left the colour on for 45 minutes (checking it often) rather than the recommended time, as I needed a higher lift, which is exactly what I got Very easy to use and made me feel very confident that I was with a package, from a professional company, with a professional product Once the 45 minutes were up I was happy with the colour and used a blue shampoo to rinse my hair first to tone the blonde, then continued to use a normal shampoo I followed with the Garnier Nutrisse Creme conditioner which was in provided as a part of the Garnier box This smells lovely, not over powering at all. I left the conditioner in whilst massaging my hair for about 5 minutes and washed it out I loved the way my hair felt after all that, and I had no hair fall out! BONUS!

Rated 4 out of 5 by blackkittykat from Nourishing hair dye I was lucky enough to be involved in the trial team for Garnier Nutrisse and I chose the shade Mahogany Ash Brown which is a dark brown with a reddish undertone Unfortunately, upon receiving the product in the post, the top of the developing cream had broken off and I had lost a fair amount of the developer within the packaging, despite it being well packaged and bubble wrapped nicely. After some thought, I decided to immediately mix the colour and remaining developing cream together and dye my hair The scent of the hair dye was some what pleasant and nowhere near as unpleasant as compared to other hair dyes which I have tried. The product did not itch my scalp as much as a hair dye normally would, and it was quite comfortable to have in my hair and not at all irritating 25 minutes later... I washed out my hair to reveal a lovely, vibrant, dark brown colour. My hair felt nourished and refreshed and very silky. Best of all the small amount of hair dye which I did get on my skin was easily removed. I have taken 1 point off because the resulting hair colour was different to what I expected and was quite a bit darker than I thought it would be, almost black. Of course, it is hard to tell what to expect when choosing an appropriate shade when looking at the computer screen! After a couple of washes, the colour seems to have settled nicely I love it! A beautiful, fresh new colour and my hair just loved this hair dye I would definitely recommend Garnier Nutrisse hair dye and will certainly purchase it in the future; it was very pleasant to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lindylou from good grey coverage This is an early review as I only coloured my hair 3 days ago and have washed it only once since. I hope to update it later I've used Garnier Nutrisse before but not this shade (Light Crystal Brown). I used the Garnier Colour Selector however I didn't feel the shades it suggested were the best for me so I chose this one. I also didn't find the selector as 'user friendly' as it could be. The product is easy to use and the instructions are clear - mix the developer and colour cream and apply to dry hair. The smell is pleasant - fruity and not too chemical, I usually find the colour stains my gloves but this one actually didn't very much. The mixed product doesn't drip which is very good and I found it one of the least 'messy' dyes I've used. I followed the instructions for 'regrowth' but I find I've still managed to miss some bits behind my ears! My greys are covered but I find the hairs at my temples are quite resistant and as this is slightly too light a shade for me it hasn't covered them as well as I'd like (though other people might not notice). My previously coloured hair is slightly darker than it was - interestingly the shade indicator on the box shows brown and light brown hair coming out lighter The conditioner that comes with the dye is thick and fruity and is enough for 3 applications (depending on your hair length and thickness). My hair felt fine after colouring although other times it has felt softer After one wash I have found the colour is a little more even, although I noticed no colour coming out during shampooing This shade has 'multi-faceted rose & gold tones with a hint of iridescence' which I can't say I really notice, however overall I am happy with the shade. I have gradually been using lighter dyes so that my roots won't be so noticeable but I think this may be just slightly too light at the moment. A few more washes will tell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kylie K. from I liked the sound of this product as I love oils on my hair due to their lightweight texture and the unbeatable shine they impart not to mention added manageability for my dry hair. I chose shade Acorn (Light Brown with cool tones) as I have natural dark ash blonde hair. The mix is a little smaller than what I am used to with other brands, it only mixes to a total volume of 100mls (my usual brand is 120mls) and also the thick, almost stringy texture of the cream mix makes it difficult to evenly coat all my hair - I found it sticks to the hair but doesn't easily penetrate it like other wetter gel type mixes do. I found I also needed 2 bottles of this to evenly coat my hair and had to make sure it was sectioned before beginning. The colour is lovely, although it was a good 2 shades darker than what I anticipated (more like a medium chocolate brown than a light brown). I washed several times over the next 2 weeks and gradually the colour has come down to a lighter shade. The shine and manageability however is superb and I have not had such glossy hair from a home dye pack before. The included conditioner is very thick and nourishing and easily I get 2 applications per bottle - a very strong fruity-floral scent lingers on the hair for days after using, it's quite nice. Easily the best home dye for glossy, silky, shiny hair but to begin with the pigmentation is a little strong and does take some washing before it settles into the same shade as the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautyantics from Great grey coverage I actually used this product on my mum instead of myself as she has more grey hairs to cover! The product was easy to use, simply combining the colour with the activator and shaking. It was a nice consistency to use, didn't drip everywhere yet wasn't too think to spread evenly. I applied to the roots first and then the ends of the hair for the last 10 minutes of developing time. The colour I used was number 6 in light brown and developed to a lovely brown colour with some nice reflective hues. I noticed the smell of the product was lovely and fruity and didn't smell like a hair colour at all. It covered the grey hairs very well, I wouldn't say 100% but fairly close to. It left the hair feeling very soft and conditioned. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the amount of product didn't seem enough for long or very thick hair. I was very impressed with this product and I would recommend and reuse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Valerie844 from Very Rich and Intense Color I received Garnier Nutrisse creme Hair Colour being part of Trial Tram , so happy to be part of it and was really excited to try this product. I have been dying my hair once or twice a year for years. I'm naturally dark brown, so I went with the colour suggested by Garnier which was Tamarind 4 Dark Brown It was very easy to apply and had a pleasant scent, did not have much of the harsh chemical smell that most hair colour product had. I followed the instructions and applied it myself, finished putting it on in just a few minutes without making any mess, didn't sting my scalp either. The creme is creamy and did not drip at all, which was excellent I washed it off after 25 minutes, used the conditioner then the nourishing hair mask on the ends. I used a microfiber towel to clean some dye on my forehead and ears, took a little rubbing to come off The Result? my hair feels light, soft , silky, smelled nice with just a hint of chemical smell. The color turned out darker than I would like when I first saw it. however, after a few hours, I got used to it. The color is quiet rich and shining. I had some grey hair hidden underneath, its not noticeable but I feel better without them. This product has very good grey coverage, I couldn't find one grey hair at all I will buy this product when its time to color my hair again and will be very carefully when choosing the color because the color is very rich and intense, I will probably choose a shade slightly lighter for myself. Overall, I am happy with this product and its amazing grey coverage power.

I have been a blonde devote for since I was 13 and read that squirting lemon juice in your hair and sitting in the sun would give you beautiful blonde locks. I never noticed a difference after the lemon juice/sitting in the sun, but I have noticed an impressive change with the Garnier Nutrisse Creme Permanent Hair Colour. I have just trialled the shade 10.01 Natural Light Ash Blonde on my dark blonde/light brown regrowth with really good results. I followed the instructions to the letter (although was tempted to skip the 48 allergy test) and my regrowth is a beautiful light blonde shade that blends in seamlessly with my rest of my previously lightened hair. It is not unusual for me to have to tone my hair after lightening to avoid that brassy look, but with this product it wasn’t necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by clearcrystalwater from Light & Lovely Fresh Garnier Scent I liked to use this to cover my sprouting greys and I did find it softened their grey colour and softened the feel of the hair too. My hair was also left very, very shiny as the kit comes with an after-care conditioner which is rich and thick to use and eliminates tangles straight away. I was able to rinse away the after-care conditioner after a minute and the tangles were very easily detangled which is great because my hair gets so tangly so easily I used the colour Almond Creme which is as delicious a colour as it sounds - it's a dark blonde and I really like it a lot. As mentioned above, I used this kit to cover my greys, and this colour definitely gave them some colour but also left them shiny and so they kind of looked like highlighted light blonde strands which actually turned out looking very natural and very lovely. I would use this kit again to 'do' my greys. I love the way this colour blended beautifully with my own natural hair colour which is a variety of blonde hues - from extremely light blonde on the top and front naturally and then also some darker blonde hues in varying colours under that. I loved the way this Almond Creme looks so good with my natural blondey hues While using this I noticed a lovely light scent which was fresh and very 'Garnier' and it wasn't heavy at all - just a nice light waft of 'freshly washed hair with Garnier' scent. There is absolutely no ammonia smell that I could detect! Yay! The mixture gripped well to my hair and did not drip one bit! Where I applied it there it stayed This kit was easy to use but I didn't really like the crinkly gloves - I prefer to use the rubbery disposable ones that are tight on my hands so it's easy to not get in the way of carefully putting the dye mixture exactly where I want it. For those who are just dying their hair all over I don't think the gloves would be so much of a hassle though because you wouldn't need to be precise with your hands/fingers to apply the dye mix.

I received Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour being part of Trial Tram , so thank you Beauty Heaven for this opportunity , so happy to be part of it. The packaging looks appealing, I opened it and everything inside is ok , no accidents on the way to my home. I followed the instructions , mixed the developer and the colourant , got the gloves on and started the process.I like that hair colour has a really creamy consistency, other hair colour brands I used in the past are runny and that will make the application really difficult.So creamy is really good , really clean application and so easy.I used a brush I bought some time ago. My hair is about shoulder length, one box was enough ( I bought a spare box from supermarket just in case , I hate when there is not enough to cover all the hair). That colour covered the hair really well.What I didn't like was the smell , too strong , even for hair colour containing ammonia.Anyway , I got a shower cap on and that helped. After washing and drying my hair , I had a look and the colour was beautiful, so shiny and fresh. O choose No 5 Chocolate.My hair's natural colour is brown , I used in the past lighter brown shades .So the shade I got now is obviously darker than the one on the box , which I expected.Really happy with the colour , two days later I washed my hair and the colour didn't fade at all ( happened in the past with other brands).It also covered all my grey hair , I was so glad with the result.sono more grey hair for a while. So this product is really good quality, affordable.There so many beautiful shades to choose from. It is indeed easy to use at home.Except the smell , I liked everything about it.It feels nice after application, I didn't have any irritations or reactions.Maybe a future version of the product will smell better though.I know it us hard to achieve when ammonia is one the components of the hair colour. I hope the mask will help to keep that colour fresh for longer , the sun in North Queensland is bit harsh even in this time of the year , we need quality products here to keep that look we love.

Rated 4 out of 5 by saidtheredhead from A luxurious and quality product! I love the Garnier hair range, and this hair colour is no exception. The first thing I noticed is the gloves! Finally, a brand that includes gloves that fit and that don't develop holes! I had to read the instructions very carefully to make sure I was following the steps correctly, as at first it didn't look like the colour was processing. (It did...it just needed a few minutes.) The small of this product was nowhere near as noxious as some other leading brands I've used, and I also noticed I didn't experience any stinging on my scalp. After using the product, I was a little disappointed as my hair didn't feel as softand silky as I expected it to, especially seeing as though that's what's pushed the most in the advertising. I found the colour on the box to be a true representation of what the colour looks like in my hair. I'm really happy with the colour, it's bright, fresh, modern and fun. I'd definitely try this product again, but maybe next time, I'd leave in the conditioner for a little longer to see if that helps with the dryness.

I found the hair colour easy to use, the instructions were very helpful. As sometimes when using a new brand it takes a bit to find the right step. The corresponding picture was appreciated too. I enjoyed the short developing time too. I am sure the other time poor people appreciated that too. The Creme Nourishing Conditioner was a welcome addition in the box. The smell was as to be expected with a permanent colour, I could smell the ammonia. I was very happy with the outcome and the end result of my hair colouring experience. The red is a deep red and I have had a few compliments on it. My hair feels silky and healthy. There is a shine to it, as well. The colour has lasted longer than other brands I have used before.

My hair is medium length, thick with a few sporadic grey hairs creeping through. I needed to use two packs on my hair which is standard. Easy to use, applicator with a colour cream that you shake up. Scent wasn't too bad, a little potent but that's to be expected with hair dye. I followed the directions for the all over application, and found it easy to work through. I did my hair in sections and made sure it was thoroughly combed through After rinsing, I used the nourishing conditioner which was pleasantly smelling. After blow drying my hair, I was definitely happy with the colour, that looked natural, covered the greys and left my hair beautifully shiny and soft, something I love to get after dying my hair.

I found this product pretty simple to use. It was a little smelly, but not nearly as strong as other hair colours I've used in the past, this one was actually quite pleasant compared to others. I was very happy with the end result. I have dark brown hair and the colour I choose looked lighter on the website but seemed way darker when it arrived. As a result, I ended up just leaving it on for 20 minutes so it wouldn't be too dark. The result was very good; all my grey is gone and my hair feels and looks great. I loved that my hair felt shiny and looked shimmery afterwards, it did not feel dry at all, in fact it felt nourished. I'd say that's the work of the creamy conditioner in the pack and there's enough of it to use a few times over a week or two. Overall, I'd say this is a great affordable alternative to a salon colour and I would definitely seeks this one out again, just a colour a few shades lighter next time.

The instructions given were straight forward, and using the product is straight forward too. The design of the bottle allows the product to have ease of use, non –drip , and to easily handled by one person on an easy day in the bathroom. In terms of colour coverage, generally speaking, I still do not have any greys (being in my mid 30s nearing 40s). I have a few strands every now and then, but it can’t be considered greys. However, I have leftover highlights at my hair ends from two years ago (it has taken it that long to grow out) , and the dye completely covered them I can only speculate that the product will do the same for my greys (when I start to have them). If you have dark hair, like mine, and intend to have a hair colour change, this product may be better used after having a hair bleach. However, this product is excellent for covering greys, if that is your intention.

The cream was simple to apply to my hair. It completely covered my grey hairs, and I found the colour was evenly covered. I have shoulder length hair, the volume of product ran out quite quickly and I had to thoroughly spread all of the product across my hair to ensure everything was covered. I took the time to ensure there was an even cover and the completed result did show an even coverage. I would have like to have slightly more dye in the product. After rinsing and using the conditioner product ,my hair was nice and soft, and had a nice fragrance.

It does a really good job of covering greys, is super easy to use (just mix, shake and massage in - no special applicator needed) and leaves hair in good condition. It doesn’t smell bad (or even all that strongly - kind of like a heavy floral), and it’s all over in 30 mins, so you can colour your hair pretty quickly and without a lot of fuss. I haven’t experienced any scalp sensitivity or other issues and the conditioner it comes with lasts for about 6 uses and really helps keep the colour longer (and also is a really good conditioner). The colour can be a bit tricky to get right, especially if you’ve got greys. My first time I used chocolate brown and found it came out almost black (though it lightened up after a few shampoos). The second time I used a light brown, which actually comes out a medium reddish brown (it’s actually pretty chestnut in the lights), and that’s the closes I could find to my natural shade. It’s not expensive and is so easy and gentle on the hair. Just a reminder to not stand over the bathmat when you apply! That neutral looking white cream turns brown very quickly when it gets on anything. Peroxide cleaned it right up though. Don’t forget the gloves either.
