Has a pleasant mild scent. Is worth paying a little more for as honestly worked well both for anti dandruff and to revitalize hair. Leaves it feeling clean and healthy. I also like the design on the bottle wih H & S traditional but quality look. The shape of the bottle feels and looks great however has tendancy to fall over somtimes if not carefull when placing after using - maybe could have a flatter base.

I no longer have a dry itchy scalp and my hair feels clean and soft. My wife doesn't have dandruff but she even threw out her salon branded shampoo deciding that head and shoulders leaves her hair feeling much cleaner, softer and shinier than any other shampoo she has used, even though head and shoulders is much cheaper.

It left my hair feeling clean and shiny and eliminated the constant itch I have on my scalp. My wife also decided she will use this shampoo/conditioner instead of her dear salon branded shampoo she has been buying for years. She doesn't even have dandruff but thinks it is the best shampoo and conditioner she has used, even at 1/4 of the cost of her usual shampoo.
