Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heartbroken Absolutely heartbroken, I thought this would give my naturally auburn hair a more coppery boost after going full in the winter months, I left this on for less than the time than instructed because I noticed how dark my hair was turning and my hair is now just a dull lifeless brown with absolutely no “amber” tones whatsoever

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another fail by L’Oréal My first inkling that this product wasn’t going to turn out like the picture on the box was when I noticed, post application, a smudge of dye on my wrist that was distinctly purple. Now, I’m not an expert in colour theory, but I wondered how the heck a cool, purple based dye was going to produce a warm, orangey amber colour like the one on the box. Short answer: it doesn’t. My hair is now a revolting dark burgundy, thanks L’Oréal. Oh and I started with medium blonde hair. This is the second fail this week with L’Oréal Casting products. They need to review their formulas pronto.

Now it’s hay. It’s stiff and dry. The colour changed so little my mom thought I hadn’t used it yet. I followed the instructions. I’ve dyed my hair plenty of times in the past with great results. This was not one of those times. I’m upset, like, actually upset.
